Camry TRD is pretty freaking dope, and I have personal experience with a Focus ST, VW Golf GTI, Miata, and SRT 4. IF YOU DON"T GO TO THE TRACK, I'd take the Camry TRD over all of them (of what I've had personal experiences with). Even going to the track I'd take it over half of them out of box vs out of box.
Miatas are brilliant little cars, but I personally wouldn't put them on the list of 'good dailies.' A daily needs a certain degree of practicality, such as a bit boot space, if you ask me.
I don’t know about the newer corvettes, but as someone who has own a c4 and currently owns a c3, they aren’t the best daily drivers. It’s possible to daily them (I did with the c4), but they get around 9-7 mpg and the more you drive it, the more issues you are going to have. and end up becoming money pits. That’s why I daily a Accord and have the c3 as a weekend car.
Why does everyone always cite the Miata as being on the cheaper side of affordable cars? idk what's going on in the US but here in Canada the bro and drift taxes have turned these into $10k+ cars (for NA models at least). More often than not you'd be better off to pay the same or slightly more for a fairly low mileage C4 Vette. Easier access to parts too.
A barely decent NA in america is like 6k and that's without the hardtop lmao the internet has all these fools thinking their beat to death shitbox is worth triple nowadays

I agree with the brz platform! I’ve daily driven my brz for 2+ years so far
Whipple charged PP1 Gt is a great daily. 720WHP. Makes driving to work fun 👍
i swear i saw the focus st a few day ago in jersey, i was so hyped :))
What year Mercedes SL were you referring to?
What kind of Camry are you buying to recommend a modern muscle car as a cheaper alternative?
Those curved star wheels behind him are beautiful! Idk what they are called but I want them for my B5 A4
I see the Honda Prelude is still not getting the respect it deserves. It’s reliable and it’s not incredibly hard to work on. Almost like a more advanced Integra in terms of ease but the engine bay is a bit more crowded than the integra
plus the 4th gen looks bad ass still
1994 volvo 960 rebuilt title found in a field bought for $500 by friend of mine who fixed it, and i got it for $800, its a lil fucked, but it drives and is fun to drive.
my 2015 wrx currently at 85k miles and 0 engine issues. it is modded only bolt on missing is TGV deletes and has been running great! *knocks on wood* lmaooo
personally (if you can even find one that's for sale and not wrecked) I would choose a toyota mr2, namely the first or second gen. but that's probably because I just got an '86 mr2 project car for a graduation gift.
Mazdaspeed 3 should be on here with the ST.
I agree especially now since it's super affordable and has more HP than a focus st
0:13 He sounds like Jungle from Action Figure Therapy.
I was very surprised that the 01-05 Lexus is300 doesn't appear in this video. Very fun 🚗
Still no mention of a 6 mt gk5 jazz/fit...
On paper its a EM1 si, except it has 50/50 weight distribution. In reality its the most fun daily driver on the planet
I was almost sure that the last car would be a Honda but I guess corvettes aren't bad either
wb the mazdaspeed3 and 6? awd, 6 speed, turbo i4. stock 274 hp, 280lb-ft of tq. good aftermarket support, easy to work on. stock internals can handle upwards of 400hp. total sleeper perfectly capable of wiping the floor with evos and STIs. overall a really good option
I know nobody likes hyundai except like 5 people but my 2nd gen veloster has been beyond amazing for reliability and fun to drive. Very fun to drive. It's handled all the bullshit I've thrown at it
Camry TRD is pretty freaking dope, and I have personal experience with a Focus ST, VW Golf GTI, Miata, and SRT 4. IF YOU DON"T GO TO THE TRACK, I'd take the Camry TRD over all of them (of what I've had personal experiences with). Even going to the track I'd take it over half of them out of box vs out of box.
Love my ST wagon!
*Cries American tears*
need help, are silvia spec r good for daily drive ?
Nice choices!
Anyone know the thumbnail car
I've enjoyed my Honda CR-Z EX.. falls under the slow category but damn is it still fun. For 6k sticker price I am very satisfied. Wish there were more 3 door hatchbacks.
That Corvette on the thumbnail is the coolest vette I’ve ever seen

Wish the Si of any gen would’ve made it, but I know you guys considered/debated about it, so I’m satisfied 🤷🏾♂️
What about a Hyundai N series, like, any of them???
I almost cried when he said frs parts were cheap 😭 supply and demand my friend...
Im still trying to figure out what wheels I want for my mr2
