    Lunging is essentially taking a squat and breaking it down into a single leg movement. Whichever direction you are lunging will dictate which secondary muscles are used (quads, hamstrings, inner thigh, etc.) but you are basically isolating a squat into one leg. The reason people do this is because if you have one leg that is stronger than the other, you will tend to use one leg more dominantly than the other while squatting. This ensures that you will get an even workout on both legs.

    Rebecca, i just want to say thank u for this workout!!! :D i tried ur workout - strong arms on ur channel, and i noticed my arms are getting toned! & also, i've been working with this workout , i've seen lots of difference.     I just wanted to say I LOVE these workouts especially this one. I've been including this in my daily workouts for 2 weeks now and I can definitely feel and see a bit of difference :) Also Rebecca Louise is my favorite!! :)

    I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I started this video!
    First time follower, subscribed just minutes before this workout. Awesome burn, increased my heart rate and really had me out of breath by the end of it!

    I have been using the XHIT daily routines and in the last 7 days I have lost 2 inches every where (unfortunately that does include my breasts) but I feel great! giving extra focus to my thighs this next week. Love the 30 sec segments

    Most of the exercises in this and the other videos are ones we do in fatburner and bodybalance classes at the gym without the fees. Did these for a week, mixed up the videos. Effective great burn after so you know it works, thanks

    I'm going to do this as my butt workout. I've down the Victoria's Secret leg workout and my legs and thighs have changed completely, so next is my butt. Not sure if I should do this and continue with the leg workout on top of it. I'm confident this will work because the leg workout definitely did.

    Love these butt workouts! I have trouble squatting as I have bent in legs and pigeon feet so these have really helped me improve my balance and actually feel the burn in the right places!!!

    Biking is a great form of overall cardio! So you would want to balance that with some strength training exercises to target specific muscles.

    doing this workout with 15 pound weights is soooo hard, but really worth it. didn't go to school today, but needed to burn off the calories from that cake so I'm doing all of the workouts in the Victoria Secret playlist.

      Indestructible Girl after about 3 months of doing youtube videos like this my butt really transformed. i began getting a lot of compliments and overall just loved the improvements I'd made. now im using weights at the gym and couldn't be more happy with the continuous changes to my body :)

    I have been doing this three times a week to get ready for yoga pants season, haha! Going to NYC in two weeks where i'm going to buy a pair of the PINK yogapants!     Hi Rebecca,like this workout but how come you don't say swap legs in standing 15 min part as some time I miss swapping as can not look at screen so need to stop and re do other side this is so frustrating as one of the reasons I stoped doing but did loved workout so mabey you need to play back you work out and then post as have notice in other workouts like barre you work out one side more then one where you need to out alfie down thanks Pamela Handrolias

    I am going through the same thing. Always had a flat stomach but doing exercises to tone and gain strength. Now I have a bloated stomach. Still looking for answers, read that maybe one should keep meals min 2hrs apart from exercise so will try keep that in mind. Professional advice would be helpful so hoping you get a reply.

    Hello,I love these workouts and make 1,5-2hours butt and leg workout 3 or 4 times a week, I go cycling 2-3 times a week, everyday riding. It`s ok up to now, my legs are looking better and better, but also a little bit bigger. And also I want to improve more my inner tights.Do I have to train this part of the legs more?I am 175cm, 53-54kg, but i want a little bit drier, skinny legs.

    Are you certain it's cortisol? Could still be related to what you eat or something else happening in your body. Best to talk with your doctor!
