Lunging is essentially taking a squat and breaking it down into a single leg movement. Whichever direction you are lunging will dictate which secondary muscles are used (quads, hamstrings, inner thigh, etc.) but you are basically isolating a squat into one leg. The reason people do this is because if you have one leg that is stronger than the other, you will tend to use one leg more dominantly than the other while squatting. This ensures that you will get an even workout on both legs.

I'm going to do this as my butt workout. I've down the Victoria's Secret leg workout and my legs and thighs have changed completely, so next is my butt. Not sure if I should do this and continue with the leg workout on top of it. I'm confident this will work because the leg workout definitely did.
Love these butt workouts! I have trouble squatting as I have bent in legs and pigeon feet so these have really helped me improve my balance and actually feel the burn in the right places!!!

Biking is a great form of overall cardio! So you would want to balance that with some strength training exercises to target specific muscles.

Are you certain it's cortisol? Could still be related to what you eat or something else happening in your body. Best to talk with your doctor!
