I was so surprised to hear this play throughout Splatsville out of nowhere once the fest ended, completely caught me off guard in the best way possible. Honestly sounds like it could have been a Credits theme. Beautiful.
It even has a section that's a reprise of Anarchy Rainbow (sadly this video ends right before it plays) which is exactly in line with the credits themes of Splatoon 1 and Octo Expansion, where they had a middle section that's the respective groups' main Splatfest performance songs.
I knew of its existence, so I opened up the game after the Splatfest was over to hear it for myself. But I was in Inkopolis, so I heard Maritime Memory instead.

How the visuals slowly go from night to dawn is so pretty, it perfectly captures the experience of watching a sunrise. All we need is to have a sunrise in the game after a splatfest like the sunset before
It would be cool if the sky in Splatsville changed gradually after the fest ends and while this is playing, like it starts out at night and throughout the rotation the sun starts to rise until the results are revealed and the next normal rotation starts, where it goes back to default lighting.

This capped off such a poignant and brutal Splatfest in such a melancholic and beautiful way. I was genuinely flabbergasted when it started playing in Splatsville. I hope this can help us all to remember to not take the team division too far and try to just have fun!

Listening to this in the plaza will be such a nice way to wind down after Splatfest. Before going straight from Splatfest to daytime silence had the energy of blacking out at a party and waking up in a pile of trash.
Splatoon 3 was my first ever splatoon game, and I joined in midway through the update cycle. Even still I'm so glad i got to play the game and participate in the events. The good parts abd the bad, I treasure all that this game has brought me. Thanks for everything, Splatoon 3

I love this song, it kinda reminds me of into the light by Off the Hook but more calm. Thank Nintendo for making such a great and fun game now all this game needs is a Splatoon movie or anime series. And I can’t wait for side order:)

Just gonna write this in case future me stumbles back here again. I just gotta say, this music was so surreal. When I played this game for the first time, it was during the Splatoween Splatfest. So, when it ended and everything went back to normal, hearing this song felt like a wave nostalgia, even for a game I just played, alongside a calling for like a 'new' adventure following the closing of the last one. I'll never forget that calming peace that this song gave me after the shock of realizing the Splatfest had ended. In other words, thanks to everyone who worked on this game from the composition to the design and more. You've all done an amazing job and I can't wait to see what comes next!

The trio is still friends after the fest, this'll probably effect side order but regardless they're STILL FRIENDS despite the fest aftermath. While I think Into the Light is the crowning achievement of Splatoon ending songs because of the heavy weight it holds behind it, this definitely gives that vibe which I love.
Initially I was really really sour at the loss (I was on Team Frye!) Shiver’s staggering victories initially came off as discouraging and I encountered some nasties now and then on all teams… But to hear this song means a lot. It shows that despite the numbers and results, the three of them are the bestest of friends until the end. I wanna apply this same mentality to my experience playing in this fest. Despite my losses, I still love this game and every experience I had with other players: Good and bad! I’m so honored to be able to participate in this splat fest. I’ll gladly take any loss that comes my way, and keep loving this game as I always had since the first.
It was really sweet to hear this througy Splatsville with none of the other normal ambience, like. Grizzco wasnt blasting its music, none of the shops were, and there wasmt that chanting song playing by the tableturf area/back alleys. It was such a nice change if pace from the loud and brutal splatfest. The only thing that would have made it better is if the sky was darker with an orange glow, kind of like a sunrise to transition us out of the splatfest night. Seriously chilling way to cap off the anniversary fest :')
At the end of the day, what matters is that we all had fun during the splatfest. I certainly did! Gg to everyone! Can’t wait to see what the next year of splatoon 3 has for us!
Such a lovely blend of traditional insturments and vocals. All the Deep Cut art has been a great anniversary gift too! I WISH we had sunrises like this in the game after splatfests because it would set the perfect atmosphere after the long nights battling. We already have the sunset for sneak peek so I wonder why not? Also, the funniest part is that this isnt't even the full song but that just entices you more to listen to it in the jukebox while playing the game
this song made me realize how sad i’m gonna be when the last splatfest is over. i know it’s like a year from now, but man i know i’m gonna be super emotional. splatoon 3 was my first splatoon game in general, and it has been such a fun ride so far. it got me super invested in the splatoon lore, i ended up playing splatoon 1 and 2, and i made some new friends through tournaments. i mean, it was my first online game in general, but i’m super grateful that i get to have such a good time with this game! thanks nintendo :)

I used all my snail rolls as soon as I got them. I mosly try to go for perfect ability rolls, but its only happened to me once, so i ended up using all 21 of mine in less than an hour of the results being shown ☠️
This is Deep Cuts Wave Goodbye and I love it- it doesn’t sound like the end of something though- it sounds like an introduction, like there will be a new story in the game

Getting off of the last match of the splatfest and changing into my normal gear, only to realize that this was playing in splatsville in the background a few seconds later was a magical experience, splatoon will always have amazing music, but this felt truly special.
As someone who sided with Team Big Man, I accept Shiver as the official leader. Hope it leads to interesting plot developments for Deep Cut. This Splatfest was a blast, and this game helped me meet new friends and grow as a content creator over the past year (even if it wasn't a whole lot, it still means something to me). Looking forward to the next year and beyond.
Shiver isn't the official leader, the splatfest was just for fun and for who the players thought would be a good leader. 3's whole theme is chaos and anarchy, so deep cut doesn't even need a leader honestly.... they just need eachother ^_^

Why did this feel like a Final Fest? From the topic mirroring the Callie vs. Marie Splatfest, to this song's sense of finality, it really does feel like an ending, or at least the end of an era.

Hearing this after such a rough (but fun) splatfest was like having a giant weight lifted off my shoulders. almost like a celebration to fun. no single splatfest is going to break Deepcut, so we shouldn't let it break us either. whether yall won or lost, I hope everyone had fun. (and good luck on your snail rolls!)
I used all my snail rolls as soon as I got them. I mosly try to go for perfect ability rolls, but its only happened to me once, so i ended up using all 21 of mine in less than an hour of the results being shown ☠️
This is Deep Cuts Wave Goodbye and I love it- it doesn’t sound like the end of something though- it sounds like an introduction, like there will be a new story in the game

i seriously think this might be the Side Order credits theme, if it has any correlation with maritime memory playing in inkopolis. this is straight up the best deep cut song to date, the emotions it conveys are too much for words to describe. i love this so much!!!!!!!!!!

When this song and Maritime Memory started playing in Inkopolis and Splatsville, I felt nostalgia along with a good feeling for future Splatfests. Thanks for a fantastic year Splatoon 3!
Hearing this at the end of the solatfest in thr lobby gave me so many emotions. Even though these splatfests have been making us get at each other's throats, in the end it's all about having fun and we're all still connected in the end.

Getting off of the last match of the splatfest and changing into my normal gear, only to realize that this was playing in splatsville in the background a few seconds later was a magical experience, splatoon will always have amazing music, but this felt truly special.
This hits different after hearing it after the grand festival. I may not have been on team future, but I love deep cut regardless.
As someone who sided with Team Big Man, I accept Shiver as the official leader. Hope it leads to interesting plot developments for Deep Cut. This Splatfest was a blast, and this game helped me meet new friends and grow as a content creator over the past year (even if it wasn't a whole lot, it still means something to me). Looking forward to the next year and beyond.
Shiver isn't the official leader, the splatfest was just for fun and for who the players thought would be a good leader. 3's whole theme is chaos and anarchy, so deep cut doesn't even need a leader honestly.... they just need eachother ^_^

Honestly, hearing this song in Splatsville after the fest made me tear up a bit, but then I went to inkopolis and heard Mairtime Memory and started crying 😭 I CAN NOT believe it’s already been an ENTIRE YEAR since the games release… and how fast it went
