As a finnish person, this is a certified hood classic.
On god it is fancy people don’t know about this one
Never thought I’d hear a non-American say “hood classic”
As another Finnish person I would say he fucked the doneness of the patty and that's why no cross section
Whaaaaat hood is thiiiiiiis!
@@atsnokki hahaha
That’s what happened to those who made fun of Rudolph.
This is something I’d expect to see in r/cursedcomments

Very creative, I like that.
@ICR ???
Anyone remember when gordon made fun of a chef for making a burger too tall to fit in your mouth?
That was a super...cowboy...mega...burger and had a very big meat patty. On that very same episode there were burgers just as tall as that one.
Of coarse. 1st thing i thought while he was building the burger.
Was thinking the EXACT same thing
You're supposed to squash the burger down after presenting it. I think that one was too big for that...?
those burgers that you talk about are for eating
this burger is for filming
cmon bruh
Would not call raindeer a staple in Finnish kitchens. It's something almost all finns have had and enjoy, but since it is bloody expensive it really is a rare delicacy rather than a weekly protein to use.
Same here in Sweden.
Go hunt it
how expensive it is compared to smth like lamb or veal?
@@arnoldszwarzenegger6832 depending on the cut, mince you can get for like 20€/kg (24$) but more expensive cuts like fillets can be like 60€/kg (72$). So not outrageous prices, but not something you'll feed a family of four every week 😅
@@21RedRabbit being an american it surprises me even with our pay difference within different countries, the expenses of meat are about the same
The person responsible for keeping Gordo's knives sharp missed the one he was SAWING away at the tomato with. He just got FIRED.
I'm glad someone noticed his blunt knife that was really weird seeing him saw the onions and tomatoes like that lol
Ok nvm I left a comment about I thought it was fine on the onion but then I got to the tomato part and I see.
I immediately noticed it and im drunk
That part hurt my soul, also makes me grimace cause thats how fingers go missing

I have literally slept in my RV next to where Gordon is cooking. We also swam in the river behind him before and after sleep. Nice to see a familiar location for once.
Why didn’t you say hi. Gordan is a nice guy. He said hi to me before
I appreciate that gordon tries and visits so many countries and tries traditional food
You spelled Santa wrong.
It’s S A N T A, not S A T A N.
Lol. Hamburger, very traditional finnish food...
@@itseperkele181 you mean reindeerburger? (Or deerburger)
@@itseperkele181 It's made from venison. That makes it not a hamburger. 😉

Reindeer doesn't have much fat, so it's a lot healthier than other meats
Proceeds to drown the pan in olive oil to fry the burger

Is this what happens to those that lose in Reindeer Games?
It's actually Santa meat.
@Not RickRoll 😭👇 soap? for real

Reinvenison.
i actually kinda love gordon ramsey hes surprisingly wholesome and teaches me things about cooking how cool
That’s why he’s the greatest chef off all time he’s so good and humble and will also teach his cookings to others
Someone forgot to sharpen his knife, looked like he was trying to cut a rock when he was sawing on that tomato 😂
In Finland tomatoes are rock hard, don't come here!
He used bread knife, just for fun. So no worries
If any restaurant owner cooked the exact same burger for him:
"Jesus, so greasy... What's with all that grease? Ab-solutely disgusting.
What a shame.."
"its so high, how can you eat the fuckin thing?"
@@username3788 Probably pouring the grease onto a small plate "I mean, just look at it!" and give it to a waitress to bring it back "Thank you darlin', not your fault.."
Greasy? Like he said, reindeer is lean, the butter is to add the missing fat. But I'm sure "80sheavymetal" knows more about it than a Michelin star chef.

I absolutely love watching everything you’ve done. You’ve been an inspiration for me in my kitchen. This video was the first one I’ve seen where you had a dull knife. That had to have chapped your ass.
As a burger lover, it would be a dream come true to be able to eat one cooked by Ramsay himself.
True.

Loving this Ramsay Around The World Series... particularly as we no longer have Bourdain. 🥺 Thankfully, we do have Gordon! 😄
Don't remind me of that. Sadly these cooking daities just come to earth once. Thankfully we'll face Gordon for long time!
Anthony Bourdain made cooking/eating calming and peaceful. Gordon makes it hectic and stressful. The 2 chefs cannot be compared at all and to be honest I think people watch Gordon for his drama and yelling and not his cooking. Homie can't even make grilled cheese properly (:
These travel series are always my favorite.
What’s the best way to scale this up to cook for 4? Since you’re basting and cooking the veg w the burger do you just cook in serial, use 2 pans or can you cram a bunch of patties in the same pan? Thx!
I was so happy to find that Gordon did these cooking videos. I'd be scared of him in person though.
your positive energy and passion really gets me through some hard days, love the burger!!
GORDON RAMSEY IS THE BEST CHEF I HAVE EVER KNOWN

It's great that Gordon shows us food that many of us will never be able to make.
I can feel the sizzle, flavor and aroma out of my laptop screen :D What I like about GR is that he is not shy of butter :D
Rudolph: I'd like to make a complaint about our working conditions

when i'm in norway i always really enjoy a reindeer stew, its soooo good

Gowda?! Bwahahaha! Honestly, I wouldn't tease him except for the fact that he has made entire shows riddled with moments of him teasing others and pointing out their flaws. Mind you, in all fairness, those people signed up for it. Love ya Gordo. If you can dish it out, you'd better be ready to take it. Keep cooking, keep creating and keep being yourself. Your a joy to watch.
Yasss Gordon looks delicious
I'm fed up seeing TALL burgers,.. how about a WIDE burger??!
I have eaten reindeer, but never a reindeer burger. Moose "burger" I have had though. Moose meat does not have much fat either, and it is interesting to see how much oil/butter Ramsay puts in there. Similar to when my grandmother made moose "burgers" - she used about the same amount of (real) butter as meat, and let it melt into the burger. The fat needs to come from somewhere. Especially important as the only moose meat we grinded was from old moose, and that meat is really dry.
But "mushrooms"? That is a very highly priced Scandinavian delicacy! Cantarells! :D
Gouda is like the ''vanilla'' of cheeses, for anyone wondering and never heard about it. It's not bad, it's not particularly special either but there may be some more tasteful variants. A mild tasting bread cheese, imo.
Lol Gordon is such a liar sometimes when he's cooking on the fly. That cheese wasn't melting properly at all, so he had to drench it in piping hot butter to speed up the process ('baste it' lol).
gouda doesn't melt, that's the problem, gouda is made for sandwiches
That vegan teacher is still roasting him

Gouda cheese is Dutch, and in the Netherlands its pronunced "Hrow-da"

Did Gordon wash his hands after touching raw meat
no he doesn't. He ALWAYS seasons his hands before doing so.
You're a few months early on this one Gordon! 😂
Not really, reindeer is used in Finland a lot. Some even put it on a pizza.
@@DG_427 Oh, thanks for the interesting information.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say
"Rudolph, we see you with your nose so bright,
Please put down that knife tonight.”
Then how the reindeer feared him
As some shouted out in fear
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
You'll go down in history"

Ramsay : No its not
Me : Yes Chef, Sorry Chef!!!

How'd Rudolf taste Gorden?
Forget the cuddle rain deer from Christmas.. thanks, thats all I can think about now lol
Looks like Rudolph had glow up..
How is anyone supposed to eat that? It’s huge, too high 😂
When he said that guy was like reindeer shit always in the middle of the forest, it was a call back to Gordon bumping into Marco too many times and Marco said, "Gordon, you're like dog shit. Always in the middle of the road."

Nice recipe, that meat is really tasty good. They should do the same with all animals, 2 part land with fertilized grass and herbs for them to eat and switch. But other than that, your knife need to be sharpen, i saw it on the tomatoes, you almost smooshed it...😁😅😂 5:07
