Lovely
Thank you 😊🧶
I really love this blanket and can see it in shades of blue in my mind, with a type of ombre effect. Or in autumn reds, and oranges with some of the cream to keep it clean looking. You could choose any range of colours and make it look lovely with this pattern. Your designs are always very pretty. I love your style and your tutorials are really easy to follow. God bless you and your family.
Very beautiful colors you chose for your blanket. Definitely my next project on my bucket list. Thank you
Thank you! 😊 and you're so welcome!
I've done this stitch before but as I wasn't keen on the 2nd row pinching the bottom row I did an extended DC . I suppose a treble would have worked to as it is technically a 3 titch drop. It does work up into a nice warm blanket.
It’s a beautifully warm blanket 🥰
So did I...I did an extended dc...workd fine...😊
@@soniakristianejrgensen7936 fab! 🥰🥰🥰
It's beautiful, and the pattern is not difficult. I would definitely try to find a way to not have to weave in all those ends.
The ends are always a pain in the bum 😂 but you can always do an envelope boarder 😊
@@teresamartin6975 I like to weave mine in as I go.
@@MumsyMakesCrochet wish I could give that laughter or a heart. I’m the only American I know that says bum
@@wynamaarp7024 hahaha!! Bum is my go to word when talking about my kids! 😂 or butt! 😂 the kids think it’s hilarious! 😂
@@MumsyMakesCrochet I just stole it off Frasier back in the 90s. A much more pleasant word than some of the alternatives for sure.
Can’t really hear you because of your music
Apologies! I’ve changed the way I make videos now. You can have subtitles on the video too if you need them 😊
How many chain stitches and how many rows for queen size blanket?
Check the description box for the sizing chart 🥰
It don’t show for a queen size.
@@danayeb9019 If you're in the US the king size on the pattern will be the Queen US size :)
Newbie here. Is there a written pattern or instructions? Would love to know how to start. Beautiful stitch. TY
I haven’t got the written pattern up but I have got the chain and row count here for you 😊 mumsymakescrochet.co.uk/2023/08/26/battenberg-baby-blanket/
Music too loud hard to hear you talking
I changed this in my last few videos. You can put subtitles on or buy the pattern on my Etsy 🥰
Am sure this pattern will look as nice in a solid colour as well I will certainly try a solid colour thanks for sharing your talent.
You’re welcome 😊 I haven’t tried it in a solid colour but I’m sure it would look nice, like a basket weave kind of look x
Absolutely beautiful 😍 thankyou . Im grabbing my crochet hooks as I type
Wonderful! Have fun! 🥰
@@MumsyMakesCrochet I did . It turned out lovely x
@@louisemerriman1079 aww fab! 🥰🥰 I’d love to see a photo! You can share it in my facebook community. The link is in my description 🥰
How beautiful. Only stumbled across you in the last week or so. This picky subscriber subscribed to yours immediately. BEAUTIFUL work❤
Oh thank you so much! Glad to have you here! What kinds of things do you usually crochet? 🥰
@@MumsyMakesCrochet well.. I learned in the group homes in the middle of the night after my last group home night terror. That was the dc. The lady who taught me anonymously brought me peach yarn and a g hook the next day. I’d sit awake on community commode crocheting and sleep in the classes. Only started making two blankets for husband and me in the last 11 years that were both stolen. Then in 2019 I started making free gifts. First couple years only knew Chevron and dc. But recently have done a few 3-D seashell, puff stitch. Now working on a king sc that my sisters granny started over 10 years ago. She passed away the end of last year after I told my sister, (new to me), yes I could do that stitch and I would be happy to. Her granny was on 105th row of what will likely be at least several hundred rows. Also just now doing cloud stitch for said sister upon learning I absolutely stink at granny squares. Being determined and not a quitter I tried the Picasso more times than I have ever tried any other pattern. But I stink at granny squares. Sorry that’s a lot. But sometimes answers are not so black and white. I absolutely love to crochet and to learn. Made I don’t know how many dozens of gifts in the last five years. I’m not quite a beginner, but nowhere near the seasoned crocheter. It’s my favorite thing to do with my free time and the most therapeutic❤️In spite of arthritis, tendinitis, and carpal tunnel. Just means more brakes. But sometimes with more short brakes we get more done. Thank you, Mumsy💕
@@MumsyMakesCrochet funny I thought the clouds stitch I picked up was by Nora who I only subscribed to a week or so before you. But the yarn in this picture, pink, dark red and white certainly looks like the same colors from the cloud pattern that I’m copying now. Beautiful
@@MumsyMakesCrochet oh my. I do apologize mumsy! I just went and looked. Your cloud pattern out of the same colors is the one I happen to be doing. Just started yesterday. In purples and greens. My oldest niece recommended the border to be in either aquamarine or my sister secondary favorite color, teal. This is my first using back bumps of chain. Loving that by the way. But my eldest niece suggested a border. Can it be done on cloud pattern since it happens to be yours I’m copying? I want it to be beautiful, especially since I had to give up on the Picasso
@@wynamaarp7024 Oh amazing! Yea! I have a border pattern video on here for it. I’ll link it below for you 🥰 I loooove teal! 😍 that’s my favourite colour x
Beautiful
❤️
I'd prefer no music, because the volume has to keep being adjusted up, and down. js
Noted 😊

It's hard to follow. Your music is to loud.
So sorry! I have a written pattern available if you find that easier. The links are in the description box above 😊
