      @@WhenTheyToldTheTruth Yeah, tell that to the atheists fighting in combat including the SEAL Teams, that they're Satanists. Im sure Jesus and the Apostles told people who weren't converted that they were Satanists for not believing. Im sure thats how they got so far. Also the part of loving your enemies that I guess is taboo for Christians nowadays.

    My dog brought me through the darkest time of my life after 9-11. Had recently retired from the FDNY and my house lost 6 men, and I knew about 30 more who were killed. My wife and I returned to NYC to help and to attend some funerals. Just a very bad time......after coming back home, I was sad and depressed for a few months but my Doberman "Billy" brought me through it. We spent a lot of time that fall and winter out in the old farmland behind where I live. He was there for me when I needed a lift and between him and my wife, i was able to accept and move on. When he died, it broke my heart, what a good boy. Rest In Peace my son, I love you forever and will always miss you.

    I can really connect with these two MEN. I am a 51 year old contractor, father of two teenage boys who fish, hunt and can fix anything. I just re-read "The way of the superior man" by David Deida, am in the process of re-building my marriage by CHANGING ME. We have the BEST GERMAN SHEPHERD that has ever lived... lol in my opinion, and just baked my boys some Sticky Buns and Cheese bread. I work EVERYDAY to define my role as a "Man". Conversations like these give me the courage and focus I need. Thank-you Ryan and Mike.

    The behavior molding of my dog and my children (from when they were newborn until they could talk) was essentially interchangeable. Ritland is one of my favorites, if not the favorite, of mine. Great podcast, thanks for putting it out here for us!

      I have never heard anyone say that specifically about children, but appreciate someone saying it! I’m baffled by folks who believe you can’t really start training a child until it can talk because “they don’t understand”! It’s such a crucial time in their development.

    But. But now both boys are doing great . The youngest is AFSOC and a great team member and wounded warrior. The AF got him through all the pain of rehab and he’s learned some life long lessons. His brother serves at WrightPatterson AFB and doing well.
    I let them drive their own bus and it all turned out for the good.

    Question to Mike if he reads this.
    I've had a dog in the past, in the family, for 14 years so I'm a at least a little bit understanding of the mechanisms of dog-behavior. Obviously we did most of the mistakes you mention. However something I'm curious of. You mention dogs shouldn't be socialized with other dogs. But with that said, what is your thoughts on this idea that dogs, being pack-animals, should be exposed to other dogs because the pack apparently self-corrects ill behaviors through the pack-hierarchy?
    I'm thinking about much of what "Cesar Millan" speaks of in his videos (obviously I understand one condition for this to work requires a stable pack in the first place).
    Just curious.
    Thx.

    And I have a question at some point you have to go to the doctor office and Im sure that you have to where protection before you get in the building, so my question is why the doctors where ppe and staff if the virus is not serious? I'm asking because I'm trying to understand your logic and reasoning.

    • @Mandarintoenail1
      @Mandarintoenail1 3 роки тому

      How many people die per year from smoking? How serious do we need to act toward death? His point was most people don’t know how many die everyday from any cause. If you aren’t old, obese, or dying from 2-3 other co-morbidities the virus is not serious. This is a fact. The doctors offices are acting like this because of peer pressure and constant propaganda and overreach from the government. Have you asked the medical people if they would take them off based on their risk of getting the bug? I think you’re making assumptions and forcing an argument concerning the fallacy of appeal to authority using medical personnel as that authority.
