Are you running stock exhaust with the downpipe? I'm wanting to install basically this same setup on my '15 A3 Quattro. I like the idea of using the stock intake actually, with a turbo inlet upgrade. I may be alone in this but I like the look of a stock-ish engine bay. Increases sleeper status haha
@@brettkrehling8738 stock exhaust with resonator delete? mine came with a factory resonator delete and im nervous of what itll sound like with downpipe
@@vlone42k42 I recently went stage 2 with my S3. It has a resonator delete along with the downpipe. It sounds barely louder than stock when at idle and cruising down the highway. I have a 7 speed though.
I'm getting my AP with EQT stage 2 tunes and DSG tune this next Monday and I can't wait! Still need to install my downpipe though. How is the process to get the DSG tune? Do you have to plug the AP first to get some info and then get the tune from EQT?
Yep! So you flash it with the cobb tcu tune, when you do that it will throw up a transmission ID code you then copy that code send it in email to them and they will send you out the Eqt tcu tune! You will have to download ap manager and load the tune into your access port
@@JoeSmith-ep1ox me and my cousin did it on his lift , it took us about 2 and half hours to do. If you are doing it on the ground you may have to cut the oem downpipe in half just because its one piece. It only has one o2 sensor! Other than that they diy is not too bad.
The diverter valve is stock, it's just a spacer that channels the air out of the turbo instead of back to the intake tract. I have one on my 19 GTI and, from monitoring boost with a P3 gauge, it made no difference 👍
Had it on my 17 s3 I was hitting 28psi peak past 3rd gear on my map 6 jb4 put a torque solutions dv spacer and I lost 2 psi on the top end plus it sounded rice i took it off and threw it away the next day problem solved
@@brettkrehling8738 Bro if your still running RS7 plugs, stage 2, you might wanna change to Denso IKH24's they have been proven to be more reliable at that power level. It's true, RS7 plugs have been known to crack off and destroy the poor engine. Ive been stage 2 with 034 for a while, the Denso plugs have been perfect
those shifts sound amazing
Looking good, my EQT E30 did 11.87 on full weight and no intercooler, with FBO and lighter wheels it should be in the high 11.6s, fastest is 11.56
That’s really good!! I know of a guy who claims he’s running 11.3s with some weight reduction. Love this platform!!
Watching this makes me so happy. My s3 is on the way😆
i was just thinking of doing this to my 2016 S3 im unsure if i wanna go EQT or UNI and im trying to find a down pipe to match my MBRP catback

Just got mine today super pumped. Did you get the e30 stage 2 tune?
I went with a 93 tune . e85 in my area gets bad in the winter, so when summer hits i plan to go with a custom e30 tune. 93 still rips💪
@@brettkrehling8738
Awesome thanks I will make sure to check our local e85 with a tester. Looking forward to more videos
Turbskie sounds wildddd
what wheels do you have on your audi s3? They looks perfect with your set up!!!
You have an exhaust on it?
Don't you think you may have a boost leak?
Hey man sweet car I bought my tune from eqt and was wondering if you had unplugged the secondary o2 sensor when tuning via accessport
Cheers, joe
I left it plugged in! The tune will code out the cel code from aftermarket downpipe.
So I just received my ecs tuning mqb downpipe how much of a pain in the ass is it to install? And thought there would be two o2 sensors not one

Not that great maybe 18-19 average. Really depends on how you drive
how is it holding up?
Doesn't seem like you were in S mode?? It will shift at about 6700 rpms, unless that's just on the e30 tune.
I was manually shifting a bit early
