It's not long until I'm 100 years old, wow, I'm amazed at how quickly time passes.
I was crossing the street one time and this raising cane restaurant next to the intersection plays this song for me as i walked the street 😅 i guess i can say... I am pretty woman! I'm A Queen always will be.❤
Not Autotune
Not Tecnology
Is Wonderfoul !
👏👏👏
And sounds the same live as recorded music is not the same
They don't make songs like this anymore. I love how gentlemanly he is. The classy way he admires women, isn't forceful at all and sings genuinely from the heart. Roy might not be pretty like Elvis but I'll bet many women dreamed of being his pretty woman.
From what I've seen online many women really like him and find him very appealing, for those reasons you state and they also like his looks! He was such a great singer and women always like a gentleman.
NightOwl I agree! As a young woman, I find him attractive in the kind of geeky yet cool, if that makes any sense. But what really makes me attracted to him is his singing voice and personality. He had so many tragedies in his life, too many for one person. Despite all of his troubles, I have only read good things about him, that he was a very kind man. He left this place too soon, but now he gets to be with his wives and sons.
@@sarahkinsey5434 try and found photos of The Sons. I heard Roy dyed his hair and used glasses. As prop
Yes!!

Time passes and continues to pass. maybe at some point we will leave this world, but this music, good music will never go out of style. Great singers, great performers... simply incomparable 💖

My grandpa was a wealthy man but not healthly this song used to be his favourite song but unfourtunetly he passed away in late 2016 . Whever I listen to this song I get so many tears .
Why point out that he's wealthy
Roy Orbison. What a legend. My husbands favourite from the 60s. We saw him live in Sydney in 1982 in a local RSl club and he was amazing. He just quietly came on stage, no fanfare, sang and played his all time hits which sounded just like originals we loved in the 60s, then he said thank you very much for coming, bowed and quietly left the stage. Best live performance ever of anyone I have been too. He often came to Australia and played to small clubs as he said he liked the intimacy of it. We both still love his music and always will. Thankyou Roy for you music and the legacy it left us.
Hi there.. how are you doing? Hope you are fine and staying safe over there?
Hey sorry I'll see you tomorrow don't cry I know my mom is having a baby
It was a wonderful to see him live at the theatre live, he gave us all than we wished for at the capital theatre in Sydney, standing and clapping, he came back and gave more ❤️💋
Yes I saw him at Revesby workers club SYDNEY roundabout 1982 what an amazing concert that was.

I ❤ 60's 70's 80's and 90's music. I mean when I hear them the move me different to the music from now. The music from nowdays it's a bit crap.
Any man that could impress Elvis has to be topnotch. He was sent to Heaven way too soon. RIP Roy

Tenho 21 anos, e simplesmente amo essa música. Fico triste em saber que a minha geração não sabe mais admirar a beleza do amor, e do romance.

Great Roy Orbison ! Magic ! I'm Altamir from Maceió/Brazil.
Grande entre los grandes del universo bendiciones para UD,,,, Raleigh, NC USA.
Absolute brilliance
When this song was at the top of the charts, I'd take my 45 record of this song over to my best friend's (Ruth) house and play it continuously and danced to it till i was exhausted! She didn't agree with my choice of this particular song, but she let me dance my fool head off anyways! I loved her for that!
Am now 40 and this is one of the many songs I grew up with. They don't make songs like this anymore..........children memories and cartoon am still stuck with cartoon 😆

Thanks for posting! This music will never be forgotten! I am not surprised to see all the comments of many that weren't even born during this music era ... so many appreciate the music of yesteryear. Those that grew up in the sixties were very fortunate .. life was good! I am one of those lucky guys!!
Brings back so many memories that summer I was a young teenager working driving machinery. The first recording on tape I had a reel-to-reel tape recorder portable could I record music off the radio then I can listen to him wherever I went most the time I'm a bicycle I live in Northern California water redwoods good music back then a lot of good times. Let the good times roll on and on. Sign chief.
PS lots of transistor radios back then my first one was only a.m. I think it was a two transistor Saturday one of the 10 it was am and FM. 9-volt batteries when I went dead put the battery up to your tongue with both bronze stick it in the freezer for awhile it did work for a little bit.
What was your hurry to leave so early man? You will always be a legend R.İ.P.

I remember Roy on the Ed Sullivan show when this song came out in 1964. I was 13, and what I remember most was I really wanted to wear pegged pants like his and to have a pair of those cool boots. I guess it was a little later when I learned to appreciate this great song of his.

Grande Roy 😎
