Tbh this video feels more like “this is what I would love to see in smash melee” by having every character be better designed (besides snake) plus having way more content while having a similar amount of development time as 64.
It's definitely fan-fic material lol. I have another video that's "What if Melee had 6 more months of development?" that's a little more grounded.
Yeah the premise of this video doesn’t make any sense. Why would Melee have more content if it was made first?
@@tjtribble. More development time was the idea. Instead of a gap between 64 and Melee, they'd have a larger team that would start much earlier in 64's dev and carry it onto Melee's.

What I love about how Ganon is in smash games, is they got the right PLAYSTYLE, with a moveset so terribly wrong.
His entire playstyle is being so scarily powerful that he scares you into making mistakes, and punishing them, with said scary power.
He just doesn't.. do it WELL.
Yes they should of done the super armor smashes instead of the joke character little mac actually I'd kill for a cannon only smash game where characters like Gannon who are immortal can only be killed by the master sword which can only be wield by the trials of a hero so ness and Lucas any mother series party besides teddy and pipi bu characters like hero banjo if we got conquer yes if we got kirby maby he's had link like and zelda like Jones along with Mario luigy peach and daisy of any kind so basically after that nobody in the roster of smash weather bayonetta or bowser or even Ridley the biggest character in the game it would be so funny watching kirby instantly kill every character because kirby holds back unless it's a competion like smash bros so he just wins
Considering we've lost alot of charaters that sakarai didn't have Time for which sakarai wanted to put in but couldn't we lost ninten ecite bike toon zelda toon shiek plussle minal and Dixie and diddy and Gannon was a Captain falcon clone cause he couldn't include him so he just sucked so when if sakarai altered him I might actually love the series with over a thousand hours with playing every character considering the two fighter passes were playing the price of the game for just 11 characters that 62 percent aren't good the good character hero if you're lucky joker kazuya Terry some what though base game felling so dosint count min min but that's cause the range and Steve that's it sora has the best revry and the spells are okay and I've taking people off the top I like that but ness just does it better

People have made a mod like this, I think it’s called “smash 2”, it’s a melee themed version of pm with less characters. Just the characters who would’ve existed
This is actually Codename: Melee Deluxe, which is based off of Smash 2 and Project+.
it looks like a lot of the characters are based off the versions that ended up in pm ex remix

@@hunterculpepper1973 Sakurai had time for Brawl and the rest of the smash games. Melee was the only game where he was rushed for development because he was only given a year's worth of development with Hal laboratory to develop a game that would coincide with Gamecube's release. And the fact is people are still bashing him for "hating" melee when Sakurai spent a year of his own life trying to make their beloved game and became whiny pricks when Brawl and later smash games don't even resemble Melee in the slightest because Sakurai said he wanted to do something different and make the game more accessible. Those fuckers don't even deserve Melee

Cloud seemed like a weirdly lazy character design from a move set perspective since it looks like just smash 4 cloud, but I realize the video creator wasn't making mods just showcasing them to put in his video. I like the concept a ton and honestly wish melee would have came out with a roster like that cause I can't stick to it the way melee diehards do even though its my favorite in the series.

If ultimate didn't play like I was escaping quick sand well being lighter then air I would fucking love that game, the buffer breaks me on a spiritual level
Ganon being bad in smash is perfect, but I like it for a different reason. I like the RelaxAlax theory most, where he still could do all his flying wizard stuff, but Smash is just a silly game to him, so he doesn't try at all, and only uses his fists and feet
On a similar note I love how Zero Suit Samus is usually way stronger than regular Samus tier list wise because it implies that the suit is *holding back* her extreme power
If speedrunning SM64 made you think SM64 is better than Banjo cause you got to see a ton of new cool tech… maybe you should try speedrunning Banjo? At least that way you’d know how both games are from both casual and speedrunning perspectives

If they ever made Shadow in Smash, hed probably be super busted, especially in melee. When you think of his moveset, he could technically even have a shine, which could mean shine spiking. And he can shoot energy, so projectiles too? The dude would be a mix of sonic and fox. He could either be incredibly broken, or ridiculously bad. Theres no in-between here given his powers lol
