As an Oregonian, I've always had a natural affinity for the Oregon Trail game. I've been to plenty of very boring real-world locations along the Oregon Trail for various school field trips.

When I was a kid, i was super confused why everyone said the Oregon Trail was so dangerous. I grew up in Washington and didn't have a perception of the rest of the US at the time, so I thought the trail was like a hundred miles and not across the entire continent.

Coney, as someone who also grew up with The Oregon Trail, I would suggest you try The Organ Trail. Same idea, get across the country in a (station) wagon, but you fight zombie hordes instead of hunting.
