Often imitated, never duplicated. Alice is an absolute O.G. shock rocker. Been out there doing his thing, his way, for half a century. Very few rock legends have been as prolific for anywhere near as long.
Alice Cooper is one of the godfathers of the genre!! He's been bringing over the top stage shows and shock rock to the masses since the late 60s!! Everyone from Kiss, to Iron Maiden, to Slipknot, to Rob Zombie, and Ghost all and way more cite Alice as an influence and he's still going strong!
The female guitarist is Orianthi, that did the short solo, has some great albums out. She told me that if you're performing onstage with Alice Cooper, you will get injured.
Important tip: It if bites or stings you and you die, it is venomous. If you bite it and still die, it is poisonous. Easy way to remember the difference.
Alice Cooper is a living legend. I'll see him in 2 days . I'm so excited. Last time i saw him was 2019 and then covid came 😢. He's also very down to earth. He's married for 46 years , he takes his wife with him on tour , she plays a big part in his concerts . He's really nice and funny. Watch any interview with him and you'll always be entertained.
He, by the way, IS Alice Cooper. And this is one of his slower songs. And not much theatrics. But this definitely is a rabbit hole to fall down. Would love to see more reactions.
Yay, I see Orianthi! The blonde guitarist is KILLER... Alice could practically be her grandpa, there's like a 35 year age difference (37, just checked). The album this is from, Trash, was the very first cassette I bought with my own earned money, I think I was 11 or 12. Perspective, if this is from 2019... Alice is SEVENTY-ONE years old (born in 1948) and still sounds pretty damn good!
Even 50 years along, Alice still puts on one of the most entertaining live shows out there. And that's in part due to surrounding himself with the best players - I believe that's the cool Orianthe playing there, but for the last several years, he's had the amazing Nita Strauss in the band. He's touring with Def Leppard and Motley Crue this summer - he never stops! Great job and Rock On! 🤘😎👍
I saw Alice last year front row with my son. I turned him onto Alice growing up. Alice is the quintessential showman. If you have never seen him, GO! You're running out of time. He's 76 and still rocks like he's in his 30s. The best thing about Alice is the whole persona of evil is all an act. He is bu far one of the nicest rockers there. I have seen him interviewed and just wanna hang with him. I love the fact he's a faithful Christian and he's not isnt intimidated to say it proudly. Long live Alice!!
I'll be seeing Alice Cooper in concert in September and I can't wait! He always puts on a great show. Thanks for sharing your reaction to a classic song!
Alice cooper has one of the most incredible shows. i wemt to his performance in 2018 and it blew my mind. Also found an appreciation for halestorm and motionless in white who were touring with him
This was in Wacken (as seen by the flaming bull skull), and a pilgrimage to the Holy Land of Metal is something everyone should do once or twice in their lives. Until that is possible though, Wacken is livestreaming some of their shows each year, which even though is not the full concert experience, does help one manage until the next time they can actually go to one. The dates for 2023 are August 2nd to August 5th, so you may want to schedule some livestream viewing, if possible.
I really hope you've seen the live version from "Trashes The World" the guitar solo that leads into it has been one of my favorite guitar solos of ALL TIME since I was maybe fifteen or so. And the performance itself is fking epic. I have to listen to it every so often even now and I'm ever so much older than fifteen, now. Do check it out if you ever see this comment and thank you for reacting to this.
After your Liliac I saw this come up. I couldn't resist to see. I have loved Alice Cooper since my teen years. One of my girl friends gave me her School's Out Album, however in 1973 I bought my favorite Alice Cooper Album Killer! He still does a lot from this Album. I always will check out a full concert on Halloween! The lives are not bad. Check out maybe 1/4 of a concert and get the big show experience. He puts on a big show with props. His wife and daughter dances etc. Full on production. I think you would love it. Alice has always had great players with him. In 1974 in Down Beat Mag they said his music and musicians are becoming extremely good. That's a Jazz mag I read as a teen. Lol how old am I? Lol I love your passion. There are 2 songs that tells a sad story and brings tears for me. Dead Baby's and Only Women Bleed. Great Lyrics and music. Will check you out more. Love the passion you have. Peace. Stay safe. God Speed. 🍻🌹❤️🤘
Master showman Alice Cooper has enough top 40 hits for an entire show if he desired. Employs top notch musicians and may be more popular in the UK than here
Saw Alice Cooper back in 1989 on his Trashes the World, tour at Wembley Arena in London, it was one of the best visually concerts I'd ever been to, the stage show alone was worth the price of the ticket, if you ever react to more Alice Cooper I'd suggest songs like Welcome to my Nightmare, The Balled of Dwight Fry, No more Mr Nice Guy, I'm Eighteen, Only Women Bleed, I Love the Dead, Schools Out, Steven, Billion Dollar Babies, these can all be found on his trashes the World live concert filmed in 1989 at Birmingham NEC England.
LIsten to "Hell Is LIving Without You" from the same album, and "Might As Well Be On Mars," from Hey Stoopid. He's done a lot of gorgeous melodic stuff. If you like strange and bluesy, try "Crazy LIttle Child" and "Blue Turk." Enjoy!
Alice cooper is one of the godfather of heavymetal..... 😊..... Along with yngwie malmsteen maybe and ozzy osbourne.... Try listening to the subgenre of metal called "glam rock"..... Its metal but sounds really on rocky side......
I took a look at your content and I can't believe you haven't seen The Warning yet. Has no one recommended The Warning? I guess I will 😊 They are a 3-piece rock band of sisters from Mexico. Most of their songs are in English. They just released their 4th album. They are arguably the best rock group right now. I suggest to start where I did, with the song Evolve live @ the MTV 2023 VMA's. I think you will be pleasantly surprised 🤘⚡️
You gotta check out Motley Crue. If ya like this you would like KISS< Motley Crue, Def Leppard, and Guns and Roses. Your in for some treats if you have yet heard these killer bands. Thanks kiddo for bringing this one back. And btw the band named Poison is a wicked cool band with several mega hits. See ya. Peace and Love, doll. Later.
This is my first 3:23 time seeing one of your reactions, and what a cool song to start with. This song from Alice is hot and you are even hotter......And with that being said, Im gonna subscribe to your channel 😂
You should check out Alice Cooper's performance of King Herod's Song from Jesus Christ Superstar... He STOLE the show.... you will know you have the right one... he is in a gold suit... This song is actually about the trappings of addiction.... not exactly a love song, but a song of warning.... Also, Alice is a devout Christian... and a genuinely nice guy.
@@vincentbonfigli2954 some of her previous videos have gunfire in them. Some content creators get mad at lawn mowers, Rana makes videos while dodging bullets, and we appreciate her dedication.
Alice was 63 when he did this show. He's 75 now and still touring.

Edit: This legend, not the guy, excuse me for this faux pas.

I had the good fortune to see him in concert; an AMAZING show!

I love getting to see you learn why Alice Cooper is a legend. Subbed and welcome to the Alice Cooper family!

Oh yeah dear Rana, great reaction! Alice Cooper is a legend, awesome performance of this classic song! And you look absolutely amazing too:-)❤
the song is about his battle with alcoholism and his story about being delivered from it is on YT

One of the greatest lyricists in the history of rock.

All forms of addiction. The theme.
He is on tour with Rob Zombie ... go see him ..
i would say Medusa by Anthrax has similar feel to this song
Alice Cooper fans: we are all Trash, Sick Things and Poison, three of his greatest songs.
Billion dollar babies is another great song 😊
