I have been to 12 oder 13 Alice Cooper concerts - and every time I leave it with a ridiculous huge smile on my face. I love the songs, the show, the humor and the energy, I could not think of any other artist who could do something similar. Just bought a ticket for next years planned concert in Düsseldorf and am really looking forward to it.
The guitar player Tommy Henrikson was in Warlock with Doro for the 1987 album Triumph & Agony. And Nita Strauss is indeed a tremendous guitar player. Alice promised her 2 things when she joined the band, that she would see the world and that she would have to get stitches. Both have been true.
I'm 63 grew up with alice and this song last year due to pandemic the elementary school on the corner held graduations outside and blasted this song and the kids sang along WTF talk about a immortal song
At Alice Cooper concerts everyone is happy! There's a kinsmanship among fans like at a Grateful Dead show. It's really cool. And Alice commands the show like a ringleader god, it's a real trip. And his band, although different through the years, always kicks ass.
This song was released the year that my sister graduated high school . Perfect timing as it was released just before school's let out. One thing I never hear anyone mention is the absolutely insane bassline in this song.
The whole "killers" album needs a reaction. Or anything off of it. Particularly "Halo of flies" "Dead babies" or "killer". An amazing bass guitar album. Possibly the best. ☮️

Has also recorded with Stef Burns, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Mick Mars, Slash and Nikki Sixx. Ozzy Osbourne sang backing on Hey Stoopid. In his band today are Ryan Roxie who used to be in Slash's Snakepit. Bassist Chuck Garric also played in Eric Singer Project with John Corabi (Motley Crue, The Scream and Dead Daisies) and Bruce Kulick ex-Kiss. Garric have quite a good voice when singing Gene Simmons songs from Kiss. Rhythm guitarist Tommy Henriksen played in Warlock from 1987-1989 but on bass
Alice has been doing this for 50+ years. He's picked up a few things along the way. To really appreciate Alice you have to do a deep dive, his best stuff isn't his hits, it's the obscure album tracks like "Black Juju" and "Halo of Flies".

Due to bad management issues and other problems the band broke up and Doro has been fronting her own band ever since. She's from Germany and is mostly does the metal festivals over in Europe.
