That's a beautiful bag. I have the regular cordura GR1 and I've attached a small pouch to the side molle so I have a little quick access when swinging the bag round my shoulder. Love how rugged and tough it feels.
You should get the GR2 26L in that same heritage color olive. You would probably like it because it is pretty much the same height but with that extra compartment for more organization.
Would LOVE to, but they are so damn expensive since I have to factor in shipping and import fees and taxes. All that adds up to over 700 USD... maybe some day though. Also, I am not sure if I would go with the 26L or the 34L Version. The 26L could be either perfect or just a bit too large for EDC and too small for traveling. The 34L Version would be a dedicated travel backpack.
Another great video. I recently sold my Goruck olive 21L waxed bag. It was by far my most beautiful bag. I kinda regret it but I didn't use it as much as I thought and I prefer something smaller for EDC around a city. I got my Q3 a few months ago and looking forward to taking it to Japan next month. Cheers from Canada.
I have a camera insert which I use on my Trakke Bairn. Thank you for showing that it can actually work with a non-camera designed backpack (CPL24 and Norhtseeker). Will try it!
Wow! Super organized!! So impressive. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 I just found your channel and I am really enjoying it. So glad you finally got organized! Now I have to do that to my house!! 😣😖😣
I have a Goruck 16L Laptop in 500D & 210D HT CORDURA for EDC work. It's awesome. I would love a canvas version. Great video of an amazing line of backpacks.
Great video! I would love a video about some of your clothing choices, like the poncho and the compact padded coat. I'm a big fan of Klean Kanteen too - we have had lots of them for our large family for over 10 years and they are still going really strong.
@tobistings thanks for discussion, this weekend trying a gr1 heritage. Needed the 26L to carry a z8 with a lens. Have a variety (too many!) camera inserts to choose from (fstop, peak design, nya evo) in varying sizes, so went from equipment -> camera insert -> pack size. Agreed these packs are super well built, but getting the heritage in one of the nicer colors is an exercise in patience, so started with black, on the list for a few other colors/sizes. Btw as a somewhat comical, and likely unintended side effect was introduced to rucking as a sport! Really terrible name, but like the effects a lot. Not obvious from the goruck site, but the packs optimized for working out are somewhat different than the more general purpose packs - basically carry higher / closer up, with ability to add a hip belt etc, and pockets for the weight plates. I picked up the `rucker 4`.
Have you ever had an issues with the bag in the rain? I have my eye on this same bag once it comes back in stock but am slightly worried about the durability- especially staining in the rain. But also just general wear, or dirt collection. Would love to hear your experience or opinion on durability. Great video!
Great stuff. One question - you say you use this setup for work as well. So i was thinking have you ever thought about a work specific edc? For work I keep my laptop, access pass, extra pens and papers (I use fountain pens - another thing to collect and obessess over. It is handy to just keep it all together and grab it in the morning to leave for work.
Küchenprofi makes them, he seems to be using the 18 x 12 cm one. Also, that apple in his lunchbox is seemingly super tiny. I've never seen such tiny apples before.

Would love a link to that leather seating pad. Great video mate.

Nice setup! What camera cube is that?
Edit: Just as I asked, you went over it. Billingham!

Great video and loadouts.
That "tactical cutting board" is super cute :D
That made me laugh! Looks wholesome.

Triple Aught Design Axiom WX is my go-to. More organization compartments.

Same here...
You may benefit from an everyday Peak Design 21L. (Specifically, the side access).
Nice vid mate
What camera cube is that?
Leider zur Zeit nicht lieferbar. Danke für das Video.
What company makes your metal lunchbox?
Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. It's the perfect size.

What kind of gloves are those?
I would love to know this too. Where are they from?
Mechanix gloves
