I respect the fact that you have spare space and empty pockets. My 40L EDC backpack is packed out to the brim and probably weighs 50+ pounds. I'm not saying this to gloat, it's ridiculous. Concerning the medication, I do believe your friend was referring to prescription medications. It's generally recommended all drugs even OTC even when legal since cops may hassle you especially in drug pusher territory. May even get detained until it's tested. Really depends on the "culture" where you live as well as the law.
@SixEightOutdoors I got pulled over in AZ and had an unlabeled pill bottle and got arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. It's a felony and literally been on my record for over 20 years. It's crazy. I've since used a keychain pill container but that's still illegal. It's easier now because I can just show them my online prescription record but it's still a felony. Edit: the type of medication doesn't matter, it's anything prescription.
Nice organized bag. I carry one everywhere as well. I need to add a boo-boo kit like yours. Trauma is covered. I see the U of A pin. I’m from PHX, but live in Oregon now. I miss the desert. Subbed. 🌵
@@SixEightOutdoors You have the tourniquet. 👍🏼 I would add chest seals since you mentioned your Glock, I carry a G19. 🔫 Also a space blanket for shock. They weigh nothing. I carry one mainly because I am mostly urban environment and most spigots you will see at building have some sort lock/cage so my silcock will do nothing for me, but with a pry bar . . . access granted 😂 3.) a poncho (self explanatory) 4.) a compact pair of binoculars. Knowing what’s ahead can save your life. There are a few more but these are the first things I would add (except some additional items to protect me from weather). Love your food bag. I am of the same opinion that food should be ready to eat with no prep. Fires should be avoided unless completely necessary. And food prep is not a necessity, in my book it’s just poor planning.
Yeah I wish they still made those pouches. Lots of people ask about that. A good substitute I'm currently testing are the Magpul Daka Utility Organizer pouches. I have a short on my channel where you can see what they look like. So far I'm liking them, but the Eagle Creek ones are more pliable and hold slightly more.
I think you should buy tiny size medication bottles to keep the pills protected from light and humidity and so you know their dose and exp date. Or get the small packet versions.
@@victortobar-herrera4686 I get mine at the Container Store. You can likely find them on Amazon as well, but the quality of the ones at the Container Store are very good. They're typically called "jewelry" ziplocs.
Sorry for the late response, but the watch is a Samsung Gear S3. They don't make it anymore but they have a new version out. I really only use it to view texts and obviously check the time.
Not criticism at all! Great video. But something to try. Instead of zipping zippers all the way to one side, try zipping up to the middle. That way you don’t have to fully unzip the whole bag. You can just open what you need to reach in. It comes down to preference and what works for you. But how I’ve learned to run my bags.
Tampons seem on the surface as a good wound packer, but their absorbancy is horrible, they clog out waaaaaaay faster than you think, NAR compressed gauze is like 6 dollars, just get 2 of those
Do you have a link for the type of ziplock bags that you put the bandaids in? I've been looking for a more heavy duty PVC ziplock than just the usual sandwich bag.
I used to carry pills as well outside of their container. After 2 weeks some of them went from white to brown, i can imagine some pills will change over time without any visual changes...
Thanks! I get them from random websites and on Amazon. I just search and browse for things that I like. The patches I have are Velcro backed "rubber" ones, but they're actually called PVC patches if you like the rubber style. Obviously you can get cloth ones as well, I just like the PVC ones. An example search I do for patch like the Boba Fett one you see in the video would be something like "Star Wars PVC patch" and then just see what's out there.
Everything is linked in the description, but I believe those pouches are discontinued and they only have blue and black on Amazon. You can try eBay to see if they're out there somewhere. If you look at the recent Short I uploaded, I think the Magpul pouches are better so far and they have more colors. Hope that helps.
Not hating or anything but prep medic has a video covering tampons as possible first aid and unfortunately they do not have enough of seal to effectively cover the wound to induce a blood clot.

Definitely need to lose ALL of the Duracell batteries. Those cheap things leak and will eventually destroy your equipment. Spend the money and go with Energizer Lithium batteries that have a 10 year shelf-life.
Idk if its user error or whatever, but I've used those before and seemed like they died just as fast if not faster than cheap duracells or regular Energizers. Pretty pricey too. These are just what I had lying around but you should check out Project Farm's Channel and he does a battery comparison video. Based on his results regular ole Energizers seem to be the best overall. Thanks for watching!
YES, duracells have ruined several flashlights, headlamps and other items I have. Finally went thru everything that uses batteries and removed all duracells and threw them away. They had even leaked in flashlights that still worked, and ruined them, couldn’t even get them out they were so corroded.😡😡
That shelf system inside the bag is genius. Really makes the backpacks depth a useful feature rather than annoyance from having to dig for stuff.

It comes down to preference and what works for you. But how I’ve learned to run my bags.
What about switching the powerbank on the side pocket with the tourniquet? So you have quicker access and it's still not mounted on the outside?!
@@stefan6316 Nice idea, but that pocket is too thin to fit the tourniquet
Tampons seem on the surface as a good wound packer, but their absorbancy is horrible, they clog out waaaaaaay faster than you think, NAR compressed gauze is like 6 dollars, just get 2 of those
Do you have a link for the type of ziplock bags that you put the bandaids in? I've been looking for a more heavy duty PVC ziplock than just the usual sandwich bag.
I get mine from the container store. They have all different sizes.
Off the gate with a DBZ patch nice!
Glad I'm not the only fan🤙🏾
I used to carry pills as well outside of their container. After 2 weeks some of them went from white to brown, i can imagine some pills will change over time without any visual changes...
Great video. Where do you get your patches to stick on your backpack?
Thanks! I get them from random websites and on Amazon. I just search and browse for things that I like. The patches I have are Velcro backed "rubber" ones, but they're actually called PVC patches if you like the rubber style. Obviously you can get cloth ones as well, I just like the PVC ones. An example search I do for patch like the Boba Fett one you see in the video would be something like "Star Wars PVC patch" and then just see what's out there.
why do it? i mean when will i need all of those tools?
UofA pin? Are you a Wildcat ?
That I am
I’m trying to find those packing cubes in the same size and color. Can you help me out please?
Everything is linked in the description, but I believe those pouches are discontinued and they only have blue and black on Amazon. You can try eBay to see if they're out there somewhere. If you look at the recent Short I uploaded, I think the Magpul pouches are better so far and they have more colors. Hope that helps.
@@SixEightOutdoors my bad I missed those on there somehow. I swear I checked 🫠
That adventure time patch is dope where’d u get it from?
I can't remember where I got it, but hands down my favorite patch. Just Google Adventure Time patch. It was on some random website. Not cheap tho.
Not hating or anything but prep medic has a video covering tampons as possible first aid and unfortunately they do not have enough of seal to effectively cover the wound to induce a blood clot.
Agreed
Also whatsh a check book and a pcket constitution? really dont get it
I need new konten, i love your channel bro ... I am from Indonesia

Congratulations on being the ultimate soccer mom.
5,000 views Micah! Holy shit.

Just a child at heart
Pocket constitution book. Based!
What's the weight of this kit
EDC
It looks like you are carrying a trickle trunk of toys
Can you book up 10 flights of stairs
Otherwise Kool
@@TerryDacey Not sure what a trickle trunk is lol but the pack weighs a little less than 10 lbs. I dont even notice it's on, but could be an issue some people 🤷🏾♂️
Where do you keep the herpes medication?
No water bottle... I'm surprised

Back pouch, has a reflective wrap, contains, snacks for two, lighter, anything that I am delivering to someone in town
pouch above that, cord and straps in case I bring anything home, pliers, 8 bit screwdriver, adjustable wrench
small pocket on pack, some first aid, another lighter, other fire starting, small roll vinyl tape, space blanket,
middle pocket on pack, spare socks, knee wrap, ankle wrap, 4" by 48" ace bandage, spare hat, bandana, mechanics gloves, blaclava

In 4 years, three weeks, I have carried that while walking the dog 3,620 miles. I've not used the space blanket, handgun, tape or first aid. I've carried home stuff from yard sales including a four foot pry bar, crecheting stuff in a box the size of a case of beer and for the fun of it, a 70 liter backpack.
Your tourniquet should be on the outside. Easy access. That's it.

Hell yeah.

Subbed 🙌🏽
Do not use tampons for gunshot wounds.
Bro pocket constitution 😂
How could you carry this backpack for over ten years? You look ten years old.😳
Haha definitely look (and mostly act😂) younger than I am. Been carrying this bag for about 8 years and had others before it.
The pills, he means prescription pills shouldn't be taken out of their bottles, you can get arrested...not over the counter ones 😂😂😂😂
EDC bag not dirty at all just saying…..
Some people actually try to take care of their stuff you know....
Foos ball is for the devil!
😂
The insistence of the yanks to carry guns and ammunition is av turn off
