petty drama entirely fabricated in Nightcrawler's paranoid head. Man wants to have a meltdown and just bring down an entire community with him for no good reason, while spreading slander and lies against entirely innocent people which he won't even elaborate, because anyone close to him already knows it's all made up in his own mind.
Is there another site where fan translation patches are available? I mean where you can get info on ongoing projects and get notified if anything gets finished
Some .ips patches aren't named properly and either use initials or just the name of the game instead of the patch and that's confusing as all heck. That's usually just for older hacks though. Like i came across a Bomberman hack that was just named Bomberman.
@@MacUser2-il2cx Yeah, I know I have a few that are titled vaguely, like Dragoon X is "dxofinal2" I have a game called "hammerpowerup" but idk if it's a hack of SMB1 or SMB3 lol Usually I change the .nes or .sfc filename to something sensible after patching, but the .ips's are totally hit-or-miss.
I'm being honest with you, Mega man CX should've taken the spot. That one is a mega man 2 rom hack with whole new levels, songs, cut scenes, and new sets of bosses from mario to kamen rider. Game is pretty challenging too
They archived almost every patch in the Internet Archive. Also, in that page are some MSU1 and FastROM hacks, already patched. 😁👍 Now, we need another RomHacking page.
Can't believe Rockman no constancy made into the list, don't get me wrong it's my favorite mm romhack but i think the best ones are rockman 4 minus infinity and rockman cx, even being more iconic
As I was watching this I couldn’t help but noticing my confusion Which PM game is in the pit a rom hack of !? Also I couldn’t help noticing that this video kicks ass and it’s very entertaining so thank you uploader! Black Pit
There is no official word on when it'll be. As far as I know, it'll go down once the money available to maintain its traffic dries up. I'm still hoping it doesn't come to that, but it appears whatever forces are behind this action are insistent that it closes down... soon.
@@Roland_Volpahart If it eventually goes to an archive site (which is what I've heard is their plan), it's possible you'll still be able to get the files, although there's no way of assuring the files will be accessible anymore either. My results have been very inconsistent with that in the past, so I'd consider the site as good as done at that point, personally.
I still hate the fact that petty drama killed off one of my favorite sites.
What happened?

@@Jay-mo1cs ...They had an extremely toxic Discord server.
But isn't there someone taking over or I heard it wrong?
@@Jay-mo1cs I can almost guarantee LGBT is involved somehow.
"Super Mario World: Return to Dinosaur Land" is my favorite

Somebody should make a zip file of all of the .ips patches.
I've got a few hundred, mostly of SMBs, Zeldas, Final Fantasys.

They backed up the entire site on Archive dot net.
There's a torrent file created by the owner of romhacking website
Super Metroid Ascent is one of my top 5 favorites

My fav is super metroid: redux + gba control layout
I'm so glad this video showed up in my feed, almost forgot about this channel....
i'm happy that Smash Remix is in this list!
I need more ROM hack list please
Sonic Megamix was like Mania before that was a thing. and tbh I think Mega Mix did it better tbh
best SoR2 hack is shredders re-revenge
Thanks captain. The time is now or never, a lot of these will be lost forever soon

they are available as a torrent. i have the whole archive downloaded to my computer.
I'm upset. Not as much as when emuparadise shut down, but almost.
Make a video of best improvement ROM Hacks.

Kirby’s Halloween adventure is one of the best Kirby’s hacks for sure
As I was watching this I couldn’t help but noticing my confusion

It's a hack of the original Paper Mario for the N64, although it adds some moves from the GameCube Sequel
When is the website actually shutting down? Just downloaded some patches yesterday

This means that there's would be impossible to download patches after shutting down ?

It wasn't on the site before they stopped hosting romhacks.
As soon as you find that on romhacking.net let me know

I wish for a rom hack list without a mario or sonic games
