I really wanted to create a brand new Zelda II game, use the same engine, while surprising the player with new ideas and a more somber tone. Just like Majora's Mask did for Ocarina of Time. Great video! I have to play a few of the rom hacks now. Ok; as far as old dracula and new dracula, the new one looks very cool and very “metal demon” but, the original haunted my 7 year old dreams! Look at the comparison at 2:17. The dimensions are terrifying in the original. He looks more like a rabid lizard man with teeth and a cape and less like a 🦇 bat vampire demon. It would be cool to ask kids from 7-10 years of age even today to vote as to which monster is scary. Also please bring your attention to the large talons on the feet of the original boss.
