I had issues like this with my boys and my oldest is regretting not doing school work well now he knows his possible future and he’s working towards that and had extra work!!! My 13 year old son is seeing his older brother’s attitude so his attitude has changed!!! I don’t mind a bad attitude with mistakes!!! I don’t have a rule on mistakes as we haven’t needed to!!! We can’t take a big break for Christmas as we are trying to get ahead so my kids can join me for my work and watch the sports at my work when we are travel schooling!!! I love the heart rewards idea!!!
