I think the mic that's supposed to be attached to you is perfect for when you go shopping( when the camera is away from you) so we can still hear you clearly. The mic attached to the camera is good when you are closer to the camera. Just my opinion ☺️

So far the new mic sounds great! I actually for a while thought your other mic was even worse than the mic before it. But this new mic sounds sooo clear so far!

I like the old mic better. The new mic captured all the sounds except the sound of them talking.
I could barely hear anything they were saying while they were shopping, even with my volume turned all the way up 🥹

I feel it wasn't too good when she was further away from the camera. I think some post processing on the audio would be good either way. The volume is so low and then so high at times. It needs equalizing.
I love that your mom will get down on the floor with you, and hash out the best stencil designs, for us in your vlogs. She is so awesome!
Sherwin and Williams paint stores will match your stain. I left a drawer with them for a day and they were able to match almost perfectly. Way easier than experimenting myself.
The way ur momma looked at u in the car when u were discussing needing more paint for the paintings she is doing for u.....my heart just melted. MaCenna u r truly blessed. She loves u so much & u can see how proud she of u. Makes me miss my Mom.😪

🎅❤️🎅🎁That Santa your Mom found is the same Santa my Mom made when I was a little girl in the early 70’s! It was from the sew-fro days of sewing from patterns and that was a holiday Santa pattern! She still puts the Santa on the mantle every Christmas! He has all the little presents in the pockets and everything! I hope she got the Santa! A true DIY project from the 70’s!!! Xoxoox💚❤️🎅🎅🎅

The frost spray looks awesome at first, but when I've used it it wasn't very durable. There's glass etching cream that would probably do the job better

Someone may have already said this but I had to exactly match a stain for some legs I bought for a dresser. The stain was an usual color so I went to Sherwin Williams (paint/stain store) with a drawer from the dresser to show the stain color, left it with them and in 2 days they were able to mix the stain to match the dresser precisely. I was impressed! So hopefully you have a store like that near you.

I could be wrong, but I believe that in order to get a good color match, you might need to use shellac. I’ve been watching Kaleb (on “The 2nd Empire Strikes Back” UA-cam channel) restore an 1890’s home that also has bead board, plinths, rosettes, etc… He shows his whole process of stripping and shellacking the wood, so his channel might be worth a watch. :)

Congrats to your friends! I would just confirm with the bride it’s okay that you have a white dress and cover cup as normally that colour is reserved for the bride.
Agreed, check with the bride! MaCenna- I definitely wouldn’t wear that white anthro dress to anything wedding related. I wouldn’t even ask about that one. Honestly I would run the bridal shower dress by her too because to me it looks very white/lacy and very bridal. But that might just be how it comes across on camera. It’s gorgeous though!

She could do a DIY DYE Video changing the whites to color? Using onion would change it to her signature brown'ish, other foods make great colors too. It'd be a fun one to watch!? I prefer the whites and being best friends, I'm sure there will only be fun and happiness!
yes came looking for this!!! i personally think the floral dress is alright (still always ask- always wanna coordinate anyway!) but the anthro dress unfortunately i think should be a pass, unless stated by the bride!
My grandparents had a similar desk as the one shown in the thrift store. It sat under a bay window in their sitting room with an old vynl record player on. Ugh! Such nostalgia looking at that piece. 💜
Edit: Also the new mic sounds more clear and crisp versus the other that sounded more... tunneled? If that makes sense; not like you're talking through a tube. Always appreciate how you take time to consider the little things for us watchers! 😊
That fridge!! My dad would have called it an ice box! Sometimes my husband (who is 43) calls the fridge an ice box, I’m like are you 90?! 😂😂 I could watch you and your mama shop all day! Love it❤️

The new mic sounds great it's not too low not too loud just perfect. It kinda softens the audio too which feels nice on ears!
It can take time to collect enough ornaments to make your tree explode. I LOVE a full tree. I use glass balls and ornaments that you can get in multiples to fill the inner branches and gaps. Then I use my special ornaments on the outer branches. Then I have holiday sprays, that I think are meant to be for floral arrangements, because they're wired to a long stick. I stick those in the tree anywhere they'll fit.

Layering stains can help you get the exact colour match that you are looking for. Layering different stains also means that you create depth in your wood project. It's hard to describe other than that but try getting a couple stains and go one over the other on the wood, not necessarily mixing the liquid stains together as thar is harder to replicate when you run out of your mix unless you're using exact amounts (like 1:1).
Your thrifting trips with your mom warm my heart. My mom and I used to shop together on the regular. Days with her were the best. She hasn't been the same since my dad unexpectedly passed and I can't coax her into a day out anymore. But seeing these videos reminds me of those better times. Love it...

It's never too early for fall candles and decor! And you are absolutely not being too picky about the damage to the handles, it shows on the camera so I can't imagine how bad it is in real life

Those green birds are from the Dollar Tree
When I stain wood I use Van Dyke stain which is a neutral wood colour. Then I can warm it with a mahogany stain or cool it with a walnut stain. I apply it with a brush and remove the excess with a cloth.
If you find a good woodworking place or a more niche store that sells paint and stain, there are people who will create you custom stains for exact matches. I’ve done it for furniture refinishing before. You just take a sample of what you want to match, a sample of the new wood and they find or create you a match.
Regarding the audio situation, I’m not sure if Mic is the issue. If you can see while editing why there are high pitches and then normal voice that is what is the issue. I usually while watching your videos will constantly be decreasing the volume. Or muting in certain points. I never have to do with other UA-camrs. It’s just the voice modulation that might need to be looked at while editing videos. I honestly don’t think it’s your mic.Please consider it as gentle feedback as I love your channel.
For example 17:32 was normal and low and the 17:38 it peaked the volume. Of course you were moving near the mic, but it shouldn’t increase drastically like that, or you might be able to edit the video after the recording is over.
I know it might be very frustrating with the volume situation and you’re trying so hard. Maybe ask lone fox to edit one of your videos and see if you get different feedback from him. I really think it’s when you edit the videos the voice modulation needs to be adjusted.
@@deepthicynthia Yes I've noticed this too but the new mic has a nicer crisper sound but she would greatly benefit from adjusting the sound when editing.

You could try using a gel stain, they are great when you are working with pine! I’ve previously used one from General Finishes in brown mahogany to get a similar colour to what you are trying to match 😊
