Also, if you're part of her team and wanna leave she will DESTORY your career. You won't work again. CT is just a horrid person, puts on an act for the camera. Horrid to people backstage and I know a few girls who have worked at head office (one was a pa) and the workplace was toxic. The pa was made to do some insane things.

10:05 not the BareMinerals refillable brush!! I swear I remember having one from them that I loved to literal pieces, the way the bottom unscrewed so that it was so easy to refill was incredible. But “original”? Not even back then.

so i’m firmly in the tiktok generation (i’m 20) and maybe it’s just because i’ve been really into makeup since i was 10 but i think even people my age know that the pH stuff all turns pink
and considering it’s YSL and their stuff is so expensive, it’s not even a good quick gimmick product they could sell a lot of to just capitalize on the “novelty”
i’m guessing the reason they made it so similar to their other lip gloss/balms is because they know damn well not enough people would be interested. if someone gets confused and buys one, hey it’s still a sale to them

The names of those CT fragrances are objectively horrible but I high key love the tacky World of Warcraft potions packaging and some of the scent profiles sound interesting. Definitely picking up the sampler set for shits and giggles.

Ysl balms. In Australia we only have one stand alone ysl beauty store. It opened recently with the butter balms on display, I almost fell over we never get anything early! I tried them on my hand and found them soft (hardly formed but without the assist of the 6 click of the old packaging). They did not stain my hand at all. Most looked like no colour on my light medium skin tone, the deep one looked like black honey on me.

The bermuda triangle of makeup qualities that I wish I could search by when shopping: cool-toned, zero sparkle even the tiniest freaking sparkles, satin finish, paler than the lightest pale, non-pore clogging, blurring, moisturizing, non-sticky
My list of makeup needs has fair overlap with yours & I'm sorry to say it, but years of disappointment have taught me the answer is mixers: find makeup that you like but for its colour, then mix-in white, blue, lavender etc as needed. Various brands make them, but the biggest range I've seen is from drugstore brand L.A. Girl: their Pro Concealer has every correcting shade you can think of & so little is needed that it barely changes the makeup's finish.
