My long time favorite influencer! Been with you since the beginning, let’s put it this way I was in my 40s when I started watching you, I’m now 60😳 thanks for just being genuine and you ❤
You know you’re content’s good when a drugstore-mid girl like me’s watching the whole video! I’d love to see a drugstore version of this-Milani and Covergirl make my holy grail drugstore blushes
My favorite blushes are the Nudestix matte cream blush sticks! They last through the southern Humidity but also are moisturizing enough for the Midwest dry winters! The shade range is nice too!
Your makeup looks really great in this video! I specifically like the eye makeup! I love Patrick ta blush, too! Please note that haus labs re-released their blushes and it's a smaller pan and costs less money.
marlena I've been binge watching all your old videos that I've missed you say in videos today about your age and looking older take it from I'm 56 you haven't changed at all you have timless beauty the differance between then and now is you have just grown up ❤❤xx
my current blush obsession is Marios cream blush stick...LOVE it, use it every day, 2nd is my Gucci blush and 3rd is Givenchy :) I have about 50 blush's and really love so many of them, these are just my current loves :)
@@analove9453 Powders don't really go bad. I only throw them away if I don't ever use them. Cream blush will probably go bad eventually. You will be able to tell when it smells bad, same as lipsticks. I'm not throwing anything away that is still useable and I enjoy, but you decide for yourself what is best for you.
Another excellent video as always! Your content is spot on! One blush that I just tried because Nikki LaRose the makeup artist mentioned it a lot is the drugstore Milani baked blushes. She said they are a dupe for the hourglass. It has a satin finish and gives a lit from within Glow on the skin.
I love glowy baked blushes😍 . My favs are baked blushes from Essence nude: (pretty peach, shimmery rose, pink flush, cool coral) and Catrice : Blooming Hibiscus and Dahlia Marbled. Also Barry M pink and peach. Milani has amazing blushes too: bella bellini, dolce pink. Best ones! Amazing and cheap. No need to spend lots of money on blush. Imo pointless . Nowadays we have so sooo good quality affordable products. Kisses from the UK❤
Wearing Hourglass Dim Light (peach color) and I used it every single day for a year and 2 months and the entire pan was used evenly. NEVER BROKE. Solid product for the price. I have mature skin, very fair, and this is the blush I get compliments on all the time. ❤ Goes on evenly and smoothly. I cannot believe I have used entire pan on 2. I’m on my 3rd!
I use Dim Light as a powder blush too! I thought I was the only one! Sometimes I'll layer it with another blush. I would definitely buy it again.... if I ever get through it!
You are a great influencer. As others have shared, because of inflation I too am having to rely on drugstore makeup. High end makeup isn't an option for me during these times. I find myself passing by you tubers who are only reviewing high end. I don't mean this to be a negative comment. I really like you Marlena just want to be honest❤
I missed fenty cream blushes on this list. They look amazing and last so much on the skin. The kiko milano velvet touch cream sticks are also very good and super cheap.
Love this video so so much! Blush is my most favorite makeup product! Nothing beats a perfectly blushed cheek! I love your lineup and definitely agree with you on the Valentino! I would say it's my Number 1!!! I also agree with you on the laura mercier! I need to start using them again!!! Great video and I appreciate your perspective so so much! I love following you! ❤❤❤
I’d love to see you add longevity to this ranking. My skin just eats blush after a few hours so finding ones that last can be a struggle. I’ve found the KVD, Buxom, and Dior powder blushes last the best for me. The Danessa Myricks liquid blushes survive well too.
I love the haus labs & the tower28 blushes. I’ve been waiting on the Valentino to come back in stock forever!! Surprised to not see rare beauty make the list. Honorable mention: Juvia’s place
I use the Tower 28 blushes to layer over my powder blushes, like the PT concept. They work really well for that, especially in the winter when I want more moisture.
First ... LOVE YOUR GLASSES! Thanks for a great reviews. I have always loved blush and just this year started using cream/liquid blushes. I finally learned how to apply them properly, bought some great brushes, and now I'm addicted! It is truly amazing how critical the correct application and good tools are to the final outcome. I have so many blushes now that I probably wouldn't have to purchase another for 2 lifetimes. However ... that's never stopped me before, so I'll probably be adding to my collection based on some of your suggestions. I have the Tower 28 and the MBM cream blush and like them both a lot. The Nars AFTERGLOW liquid blush is GORGEOUS. It gives you beautiful buildable color and the finish is very youthful. The LYS newer blushes with a dewy finish are lovely and the RMS blushes are as well. THANK YOU for all your helpful info. You are the BEST!
I am into pink & purple this summer , ha! I ordered the Tower Party hour and can adjust the shade by adding more pink if need be or putting on softer and blending, blending till I reach the shade. Thank you for your advice and love your videos.
Hard agree on the Haus Labs blush! Bought one on a whim the other day because it was the only one in the store I could find in the exact shade I wanted (went with French Rosette), and I fell in love. The satin finish is perfect for us oily skinned girlies and I was super pleased with the lasting power. 💯
Love this! I have very dry skin and my favorite formula is the rms. I love the pigmentation and the glowyness without being too glowy like the rare beauty. I also love the tower 28 cream blush.
Glad to see the Haus Labs on your list. That’s in my top 3. The other 2, are Gucci powder blush and Rare Beauty liquid blush. The Rare Beauty is by far my favorite. I have dry skin but the cream and liquid ones always looked great at first but then faded quickly. Not this one! It’s really pigmented so I use one small dab on each cheek and blend with synthetic brush. It has luminous color that lasts all day. For work, it lasts till 5 pm with no fading or those flaky dry patches that often appear on my cheeks mid day with other blushes. Perfect combo is Rare Beauty liquid with Haus Labs powder on top for a more matte look while long lasting.
I love you, Marlena! ❤ You are such an incredible educator when it comes to makeup. You are killin' it with the content!!! Right now, I am OBSESSED with the cream blushes from Moira. I feel like no one talks about them, but they have an incredible formula and come in a bazillion shades. I highly, highly recommend. 😘
I’m surprised you like the Merit Flush Balm so much. Have you tried any of the Persona or Basma cream blushes? I prefer those as they have more pigment but are super easy to sheer out. Cheaper too.
@@MarlenaStell yeah, they are pretty colors, but they are best worn on just skin. I prefer products I can wear over foundation or just skin. I love the Persona blushes for that reason.
Excellent TOP 10! Not surprise that Patrick Ta is #1! I have She’s So LA and the first threesome blush palette. I know they are way pass the expiry protocol but so hard to part from as they are barely used. They are very pigmented and a little goes a long way! However, I fell in love with RMS Redimension Hydra Powder Blush. The shade Crystal Slippers is my go-to lately. I enjoy your videos! Thank you!
Still use MakeupGeek blushes more days than not. Nurse orgasm is one of my favorites because of the shift and Sheen. And I also have gotten into the new beauty line. They have a pretty shift also.
Hi Marlene. I enjoyed your descriptions of the blushes. Although I am older, I really value your opinion because you are very honest, down to earth and so likeable. I was actually surprised by the prices. They were good, considering the value for money in terms of quality, quantity and longevity on the makeup table. I rarely finish a blush completely. If I do, the brand or shade no longer exists. At my age, I still wear makeup and still set my own style. See you soon. Thank-you and have a lovely evening. ❤😊
Love the Valetino blush. I have three shades, waiting for one more shade its been sold out. It is pricey but worth it. Mario and Patrick Ta blush are a favorite too.
This was just great Marlena! Blush is my favorite makeup product for sure. I agree with quite a few of these. I have very dry skin so I don’t really used powder. I did love all the cream ones yiu mentioned. I have to add the Rose Inc blushes. They are amazing! I hope they don’t discontinue the line now that it sold.
From the list I have the Merit, Tower 28 and the Patrick Ta blushes. While I love all three my #1 is the Tower 28 in Dream Hour. I use it on my cheeks and lips and it looks so pretty. I also love the Soft Pop Plumping Blush Veil in Pinch Me Pink by Makeup By Mario - this is also so pretty. This was a great video! Thanks, Marlena!!💕🌸💕
Great video Marlena! You must try RMS Blushes. Unfortunately they missed the mark with their bronzers, no colors for us deep/dark ladies. Please do a video on bronzers. Victoria Beckham is my all time fav, I literally declutterred all my bronzers after getting VB! I don’t think I can find a better bronzer!
My favorite powder blushes are Clinique Cheek Pop (baked gelee), Too Faced Cloud Crush, and Tarte Amazonian Clay. I own all of the first two that have been available at Ulta and own 17 of Tarte. I also like Laura Geller's baked blush (I own 3). I have lots of others that I like and love, but the above are my most used in my collection. 🦋👩🦰
Agree with most of these choices and really value your assessment. I really love the rare beauty liquid blushes and also the Chanel creamy blushes. I may try the Tower one . I hit pan on one of my hourglass ones (which I rarely do) but didn't like the replacement as much - not sure if it was a different formula. Please do these kind of analytical reviews on all products , I have yet to find a mascara that rocks and you can get off without dynamite!!
For the hourglass actually it can go for Light to medium skin tone because that’s mine and it looks really beautiful😍 even on medium skin tones it does I have tried it out on others so I highly recommend it
I feel Tarte has great powder blush selection. I don’t like cream blushes much as I make lots of mistakes with them. Tartes powder blushes are worth the money. Little goes a long way and they have lots of color choices
Marlena, I absolutely adore your incredible knowledge and the way you intelligently communicate all of the qualities about a product! I am a newer subscriber and I look forward to more of your educated videos on makeup. P.s. could you do a silicone base vs water based makeup routine? Love from Australia x
Looks beautiful, but I have combination skin, textured, oily in the T-Zone dry everywhere else. What would be best? Because I'm caught in the middle with textured and shine and glowy enhancing that. Powdered powdered blushes you can see my skin cracking so it's just hard. But I love all of them that looks so beautiful on you❤
Marlena! Now I have to buy the Valentino one 😂 I have been avoiding it for so long haha. Andrea Ali recommended this too for a while now. Now you said it. So add to cart lol
Of everyone I watch you're thee only one to mention the Laura Mercier blush. I love mine & found it for $12.99 at TJ Maxx. Its a beautiful lavender-ly color in Kir Royal. Also , they repackaged the Haus labs blush in smaller sizes , maybe why you didnt see them online when filming.♡♡♡
Love your glasses ✨ thx for the profund overview I still love benefit blushes, especially the mixed shade sugarbomb (for my makeup on the go, while commuting by train, I use their minis in the small plastic component). Other favorites are hot mama by thebalm and Melt cream blushes (deadly nightshade X-mas LE and pinched). Also I use an older Urban Decay single eyeshadow in the colour spike for a bolder blush look. So much for the silent consumer😅 (age 46, fair-light to light-medium).

Powdered powdered blushes you can see my skin cracking so it's just hard. But I love all of them that looks so beautiful on you❤
I agree, Patrick Ta is the best!
Love your glasses ✨ thx for the profund overview
I still love benefit blushes, especially the mixed shade sugarbomb (for my makeup on the go, while commuting by train, I use their minis in the small plastic component).
When can we expect to be able to purchase your makeup again? I miss your round pan eyebshadows and blushes without the case. Waiting.
Apropos of nothing, I sought out these glasses after you wore them in a video a few months ago and they are my absolute favorites! ❤
Love these glasses. Who makes them?
@@Missyrocks53 someone in the comments in her last video said they were Dolce & Gabbana DG5025 (pink) and they looked identical, so that’s what I picked up. They are perfection, and on sale on lots of sites now. Enjoy! 👓
@@MaryintheCLE Thank you! Tons of people asked MS when I read those previous comments, but she only said they were fashion
Glasses, not who made them. I've wondered since.
@@Missyrocks53 I know, I was one of them! I never saw a response from her, so scrolled through all the comments and came across that one from a viewer. Eureka! Happy to pay it forward. 😊
@@MaryintheCLE so these ones are actually from Zeelool but I’m trying to find the style name 😩 Let me see if I an find my order in email as it’s been a year or two
Your glasses! I love them! Brand please?
I totally agree with the Patrick Ta one 😍😍😍
Great video Marlena! I have all the original chrome package Haus Labs blushes and so glad I bought them. They are much smaller now with color coded packaging. Im a blush nut have all the Benefit shades and a lot of Patrick Ta and NARS blushes. Tarte blushes are good too. Right now I’m loving the Nyx Buttermelt Blushes
You really go for the peachy orangy blushes!!!
I love blush! I like the Nars, Merit I use everyday, and Elia.
