I purchased the Westman Atelier lipsticks the day she released them. I don’t regret it. Years ago I was in love with Bite Beauty’s matte lipsticks, I had 5 shades but they totally freaking dried out my lips that I swore matte formulas altogether. WA is not really matte. It’s extremely soft and besides eating which faded some of the pigmentation, it actually lasted for hours. It’s $50 though because it’s refillable. So similar to Kjaer Weiss $48 refillable lipsticks with $38 refills. I got cool toned Je Reve that I swore I would absolutely love and neutral toned Pique that I knew would like but was still nervous because Gucci Westman didn’t promote the colors on women when I purchased them. But I freaking llooveee Pique on me. I wear all the time. I guess neutral shades look best on me. I still like Je Reve but as of now Pique is my fav. I also don’t own any lipsticks besides Victoria Beckham’s in Spice.
I know you don’t review drugstore but there are so many beautiful beigey, desaturated colors coming to the drugstore. the new NYX powder bronzers, new shades of the powder ELF blushes, etc
Speaking of overpriced sheer lip products, I just impulse bought the Tom Ford Rose Lip Oil. Do I feel like a dummy for spending $60 on a sheer lip oil? Yes. But do I like it? Also yes.
I started using the new serum balm from Danessa Myricks and it's very good. Thanks for the rec. My middle aged oral Isotretinoin skin appreciates you. I am 100% with you on spf in makeup. I am wildly disappointed that tatcha put spf in the kissu gloss sticks.

not going to rant about that CT pkg again ha but i did enjoy the collagen glosses the biggest issue for me was the doefoot - its absolutely terrible. Flimsy and so hard to get out/apply here for the rms bronzers and the armani glosses and def want to try the new loveshines. At one point i thought the candy glaze was going to rename under the same collection /same formula - not sure. I only tried one volupte years ago but i wouldn't mind a better rendition of the older gloss oil but in a stick since it did not compare IMO. nars collection is asia exclusive - quad, powder, blush, cushions , face palette is not.

I would also love to see more candy glaze shades that are slightly translucent like the rouge volupte. I love the volupte shades but the candy glaze formula is so much better. I do prefer the gold packaging though, so I’m sad about that.

If you can bring yourself to buy drugstore… I picked up Maybelline Sky High mascara in brown by mistake. If you want a look on the natural side, maybe you will like it. To the point, I think it is a beautiful brown.

Essence Lash Princess also has a brown, but it's not yet available in Germany, even though Essence is a German company 😩
