I will say the Prada is actually pretty drying without enough skin prep for me. I haven’t found what’s best to put under it but it’s made my skin get big dry patches if I wear it too many days in a row.

Best concealer: Yensa super serum concealer! I wear it over my tinted sunscreen to spot conceal and its gorgeous! Covers my dark red acne like a friggin dream and is super light weight and blends in like magic. And it has skincare benefits. I bought two more yesterday to make sure I don't run out for awhile. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I wish this was around 5 years ago at the peak of my adult acne.

The original PHLUR does have a heavy magnetic cap! Just cracked open a new bottle of Hanami in the OG packaging and nothing beats it (not loving the rebrand but father figure IS great). There’s a company called Clue Perfumery that I can’t stop recommending to everyone but they are a little esoteric - Warm Bulb does in fact smell like a hot lightbulb…

Not both Sephora products but the danessa myricks yummy skin tint vs the new Lisa Eldridge (could even compare with the Laura mercier light revealer) how they all differ in texture/glow and coverage/buildability!
The DM is just like every other sheer to light foundation type product. It’s got quite a dewy finish. It was fine, but I did not find it to anything revolutionary. It reminds me a lot of Revlon’s Illuminance Triple Hyaluronic Tinted Serum, which is equally as good at about half the price. The LE is truly different…it’s a skin like finish, not glowy, not matte. It is slick and yet still manages to cover somehow. However, the two drops claims are nonsense (everyone seems to agree about 4 is the magic number) and at that rate it will not last very long and it is very very expensive. The plastic container is also kind of cheap feeling and messy and prone to dripping if you aren’t careful to put the cap back on immediately (because it won’t stand up). It’s a unique formula, but I’m not convinced that it warrants the price for me when some of these other products are so good. The Surratt Dew Drop skin tint, is insanely gorgeous, luminous without being glowy or dewy, for example.
I love the Prada foundation. LC15 is a pretty good match but I picked up LC10 for winter and it’s more saturated and appears deeper. I don’t love that. LC5 is quite light. It’s just a bizarre jump.
How are you liking the Lisa Eldridge skin tint currently vs the ones mentioned here?

I didn’t like the Prada foundation! It looks OK when I put it on, but it breaks down on my face after a few hours -and I have dry skin! I really wanted to love it, but I ended up giving it to my sister!

i have oily skin and the fenty stick is perfect for me🙃 it just stays fresh but does not go oily ,aand it lasts so well, even if i dont powder my whole face, ofc i powder my t zone but i dont have to powder my outer.. face... area...?😅 sorry English is not my first language, but u get the idea ! 😂
Ok. I can’t figure out the Prada foundation. I’ve tried it with so many application techniques and primer bases. It looks weird with my freckles and sun spots, which have merged with age. I prefer the Lisa Eldridge skin tint. It is my new absolute holy grail. My other favorites are Estée Lauder Double Wear and EL Futurist Skin Tint.
Was debating on the EL futurist skin test. Does it have a scent? And would mind telling me what skin type you have?
@@ashleypatrick2111 It has a slight fragrance that you can smell with application but not after. And I have combo oily mature skin. The futurist skin tint is super dewy on me.
I’ve always found it interesting to see how fragrances can smell different to everyone! I don’t think Strawberry Letter smells like strawberry candy at all. It smells more like a strawberry musk to me!
Do you find the Danessa Myricks balm to be gritty? I like it, but the grit annoys me. I’m wondering if I just got a bad one. I did email the company but zero response sadly.

Pat McGrath has been putting our releases that feel flat to the folks who collected her releases for how unique they were for so long. The balm is a little gritty but it doesn't stay that way. It's not glossy.
I’m down on Pat McGrath because of the ridiculous pink sequins inside the package that I so did not need all over my floor, dang it! But that pink under eye powder seems nice on first bite, even if I want the sequin money in the too light compact instead.
