VR30 with a VR38 intake manifold and air to air intercooler . Would have been awesome to see and not so common. There are a few companies making the piece to convert to a VR38 intake (Bonnie and Clyde performance , AMS is working on one and another company I can’t remember ) that will allow port injection fuel rail to accompany the direct injection it already has for easy E85 conversion. Then you could have went manual with the CD009 , new Z trans or even a Q50 Awd trans would bolt up. Show some love for the companies who made legendary engines in the past that are still putting in house built engines into their sport cars unlike the BMW MK5 Supra
While it would’ve been cool, the cost associated with a VR30 long block is no joke. There are already kits and such for an SR20, RB, JZ and other JDM legend engines which makes them a really viable and relatable option for them to show off. SR will be great, don’t worry :)
