As an STI owner, I would personally recommend getting either a Killer B Oil Pickup and Baffle or an IAG Oil Pickup and Baffle kit as a reliability mod for this car because the EJ series engines are known to have bad oil pickups from the factory, especially knowing you guys are going to track the car. Just a heads up, but nice choice for the car, I know you guys are gonna kill it with the build 👍🏽

Functional Ram air, T56 6spd transmission, 325hp/345ft lbs, 13.5 1/4 mile @107 stock, and weighing roughly 3400ish lbs. made them a menace back in the day.
I used to have one, '98. It was my Dad's when I was in highschool, bought it off him years later, engine finally went ka-putz @ 297k miles. If I'd had the money at the time I woulda dropped in another LS1 n kept it. Regret having to sell it, as I do with most of my prev vehicles lol. GREAT underappreciated car tho! I noticed that too. I've had a few exhausts for my 04 that would always rattle on the driveshaft carrier bearing (depending on what brand/length of hangers you use) , and would require a bit of hammer time to fix. But I can't recall which part of the midpipe haha
Should’ve gone Koyo or csf on the radiator though instead of mehshimoto. Also curious why they did flares after having the whole car and new bumper painted was an odd order hah but overall cool build and enjoyed the video

I have a 2016 STI. I just added radiator, AOS, cylinder 4 cooler, pitch mount, pitch brace with stainless steel clutch hose. When I finished installing the stainless steel clutch hose, I noticed the clutch pedal stuck on the floor (no one pressed it). I figured it would be bubbles but after bleeding the clutch slave, clutch pedal still would not go back to normal. I noticed there were a small leak on the clutch master so I replaced it and bled the clutch slave again until no more bubbles yet the clutch pedal still would not go back up by itself. I decided to replace the clutch slave and bled it again until no more bubbles. Still the same, the clutch would not go back up by itself. Oh and on top of that the clutch would not go in any gear when the car is on. I was able to put it in any gear when its off. So I tried to put it in 1st gear and turn on the car, now the car wont turn on, the clutch wont go in neutral and the clutch pedal still sticks to the floor.
