Best midsize truck on the planet..........💪
Just bought mines three days ago and i love it
18 tundra DC a beast and much cheaper
Good morning have customer speak Spanish..??
I like this model but in Puerto Rico no have cab extended ..???
Please send the information how I buy and send to Puerto Rico..??
I love the color of this truck! Nice job Ben.
Absolutely love my 2023 off-road.
I paid the same price for my 2022 with the double cab although no ones ever sat back there I do like the bigger seat. I don't trust the dealer for a single thing but I have a trusted mechanic I've used for 25 years and he told me there is not a single other mid size truck with a motor as good as the Tacomas. Maybe just his opinion but it was good enough for me.
I bought expect same truck 9 days ago and love it.
I purchased a TRD Off Road double cab with the 5' bed, tech package, leather seats moon roof and JBL audio (id not care for the JBL). Love the vehicle so far. did a 1000k oil change. Love it. will change the audio system in the future.
Just bought one in black. love it
I prefer 4 doors with the long bed, but I've noticed the Tacoma access cab has a bit more room than the Frontier king cab for cargo behind the seat.
I have a 2017 that I purchased new , and looking at this NOTHING has changed sadly. I'll keep driving her.
I agree with you, perfect Taco. I bought a 2022 Access Cab TRD Sport 4x4 as this was the only way to get a 6 speed manual trans in access cab. I really believe the manual will go away with the redesign and this is the most developed Tacoma to date. It's purely in the eye of the beholder but I really like the lines of the Access Cab, think it is better balanced than the 4 door variant.
Looking at a TRD Sport for the same reason; would prefer a higher level trim but don't want a four door cab.
That’s what I pre-ordered. But when I got there to the dealership three weeks ago, I looked at the double cab with a long bed and realized how much more secure room that gives me to store things in Hall passengers once in a while. At first, I didn’t like the look, but with the long bed, it looked less jeep ish and more truck. I love it! For me, I’m glad I did not get just the access cab
ABSOLUTELY
100% agree. Toyota would do well to discontinue all 4-door variants of the Tacoma. Seriously, nobody puts people in the back seats of the 4-door. The access cab should come available with drop seats or a variant that deletes the drop seats and replaces them with factory fit storage compartments. Most people would prefer the added utility of a 6' bed and a lighter truck as a result of having an access cab, resulting in better MPG. Speculating that maybe 5% of Toyota's customer base would complain for about a year. Then they would all get over it and say to themselves: yeah, the 4-door really didn't make sense If people want to stuff passengers in the rear seats of a truck, they should upgrade to the Tundra. Tacoma extra cab with 6' bed should be standard, not the exception. Also, would like to see the manual transmission offered in all Tacoma's. Simply a better transmission, but I get it; no Millennial or Gen-Z knows anything about a manual transmission.
The MSRP on my 23 TRD Off Road, 6’ bed with the Premium and Technology pkgs was $49,800.
On 2/29/24 with 6,500 miles it booked for $51,848.
So after a year and 6K miles the price INCREASED by over $2K, but I plan on driving my TRD until I die.
I only drive 6-7K miles a year and I’m pushing 60 years old.
In 20 years it will have less than 200K miles and I’ll probably be dead by then.
Nice review ! I had ordered a 2022 double cab long bed TRD Off Road in Army Green a couple of months ago. My dealership sends me an email about a month ago telling me Army Green is no longer available or being produced , they told me everything being built from October on will be a 2023 and I had to pick another color option . I chose this Blue Crush Metallic color and I’m so glad I did ! It looks fantastic ! I guess it was a blessing in disguise because I am really liking it better than the Army Green , after seeing it in real life instead of just the photos, it looks so much better now . I got the same cloth interior and technology package with the LED lighting package.
Congratulations, I was lucky to get 2022 army green. I waited for 4 months.
@@sameertamang2870 congratulations ! That Army Green is really nice 👍 I would be happy with either color. I just wish it would get here soon
Wow.. congrats !
How much did it cost ?
@@simsolam $46k
@@NorthwoodsNomad Awesome
Off road package over the pro all day for the money. I'm holding off for the 2024 hybrid with front and rear lockers.
Will you be reviewing the Tacoma TRD pro ? Been having my eye on that truck for a minute
I got my Tacoma 4*4 trd off-road crew cab. 44,000 mind you I am in Puerto Rico they add car tax 10,000 dolllars and destination charge is higher since it’s being shipped to an island.
Very reasonable for a new taco 4x4 with locker.
Who buys a 2WD regular cab Tacoma and for $40k ?
Just bought a 23 magnetic gray double cab 5 foot bed 4x4 without the LED headlight package for 40,000 and it was brand new 9 miles.
Regular cab king bed seems like a good option for a large part of the work force. I don’t know about the $40,000 price though.
@@Mason-fv1zlsr?
I just bought a 2023 4x2 Double Cab 5 ft bed for 39k, 4k off asking price
Comment saved me time and money
The TRD off Road is a great trim level but must be a base line model of the trim level, that's a perfect Desert Runner
Anyone know why you can't get this config with a manual? I got a 22 TRD sport access cab/long bed with a manual, but I would have gotten this with a manual if you could
I love access cab the best.
I have 2023 just bought it before leaving in Mi 6,000 miles on it just had my tire rotated at 5,000 miles in Alaska now so far I’m getting 22/23.8 miles a gal. Wanted that bright green couldn’t get my hands on one so I have the blue love this color too. Good truck so far. Yes 42,000 with Toyota financing yes way too high I will pay it off fast as I can been lied to all long the way but a deal.
i hate when they talk about something and show the dark or blackout the image/video. everything else is helpful and appreciated for this vid.
This color! 💙💙💙
Saw that color at dealer. Thought someone had painted one purple
Do you guys will sell to out of state buyers?
I got that exact truck same color except mine is the 4-door same trim level mine was $39,280
Today I just bought my first brand new vehicle which happens to be just this truck. I’m beyond excited to own a new vehicle at 19 and in the military. Everything about this truck has been what I’m wanting in a truck. I cannot wait for it to get out of transit
Thanks for your service & stay away from those vaccines bro 💉💉💉 no Bueno
@@honda116969 sadly had to get them to stay in

You're in my prayers and those vaccines will not damage your body because you're protected by almighty God!
And BTW congrats on your truck bro! I have the TRD 4x4 off-road 6-speed manual tranny. Love the truck tho
@@honda116969 Thabks brotha, I’ve owned 2 tacomas before (a 1998 and a 2007) both being with the manual transmission and I just knew it’s something I couldn’t get rid of just yet
Just picked up my TRD-off-road yesterday double cab, msrp 41,272 dealer add ons of about 1598, 42,780 sticker price got it for 42.5 OTD and in socal if you can believe it they’re finally negotiating.
Dude awesome! What dealership did you go to? I am.looking for that here in so cal and to no luck
@@OscarKRocha it was Claremont Toyota but that was end of December last year from what I’ve been seeing I can sell my Taco now with 12k miles for that price it’s crazy I’m wishing you luck you’ll find one and as the year goes on and they have inventory you’ll be in the driver seat
Exactly what I want but lunar rock
Good afternoon is possible purchase this unit and send to Puerto Rico ..?? Please let me know..??
5:25 Eventually the backup lines WILL turn with the steering wheel but for whatever reason you have to roll out some mileage first before it happens. If you take it to the dealer they won't know what you're talking about or they'll say it's not a feature with your model - just the default bullshit they spew out all the time. Don't talk to the front-end staff, you need to speak with one of the mechanics.
Love the 6 speed manual transmission. Maybe Toyota will keep it as an option for '24 ?
The OEM battery is sh**.
It will corrode terminals, cables
and the hold down bracket in record time. Replace it asap with an AGM Battery. Odyssey, Optima, X2 or alternate brand. Use your oem batter as a core towards new AGM Battery
i have a 21 and i still watchh reviews hahaha
What's the mark up?
I found a used one with the manual transmission a couple weeks ago at a small used car dealership. I called and left a message, they have not returned my call. I don't know what year, mileage or price.
is the driver and front passenger window one touch up AND down or is it one touch down only?
Both up and down one touch on the windows
Do they sell this in manual?
Great info and if you change playback speed to .75x you can make out what he’s saying.
At the end it’s like paying 50,000 or sometime more it’s crazy
Yes I found that out so I’m going to pay it off fast as I can
It’s available now..?? Where ..?? This price is ok ..?? 3.5 motor 4x4 ???
Nice looking truck the main thing though is it’s a Toyota.
I got mine 3 weeks ago for 40,500 access cab trd off-road in lunar rock it doesn’t have the blind spot or parking sensors shit! The led lights are bright asf compared to the SR-SX 2021 I had with nothing halogen lights
Are the rear bumpers on yours chrome?
@@TiSilver330Ci
Yes
Hey Ben those are driving lights not fogs, fogs have an amber or yellow lens. 🤙
Every reviewer does that. 😅 I have actual PIAA fog lights, and they are indeed amber.
@@NorthPaddle I feel sometimes I should do some reviews as I really take pride in knowing my product and all it's ins and outs. But yes they all seem to do it. I surprised at the lack of real knowledge on some channels, not necessarily this but you know ...😊
Weird, my 2022 TRD Off-Road does NOT have the compass and music options in the dash screen. Maybe it's part of the LED headlight package (I don't have that) or the parking sensor/BSM package (I don't have that, either).
They fooled you.
I have the LED headlight package and it doesn’t have the in dash compass either. I think it only comes with that if you get the head unit with navigation optioned . Otherwise you get the compass in the rear view.
Gotta get the technology package
Mine is a 2022 trd off-road access cab, mines a premium but doesn’t have the tech package it came with compass and heated seats and navigation I guess that’s a premium package. I’m new to the Toyotas
$40k is too much for a 25 year old design (except for TSS). Taco buyers at this point subsidizing Siennas which gives like 36 MPG and has things like regen braking.
Exactly bro, 25 years old!! Been my dream truck since I was 16 & I’ve been waiting for them to up the design before I bought one.
Best $40,000 I've ever spent. Get naturally aspirated 6 cylinder and manual now...not interested in a turbo four and dumb tech....this is a classic....sales and resale don't lie
Your body design is thousands of years old, does it work for you???
That is dependent on your bodily maintaince and care of course.
40k seems cheap to me now lol. Money is so inflated over the past 2 years
@@Eastahtata monetary value is lower, very much lower. It the inflation that is greater.
I think it’s a good value at that price .
Did you buy one
wish tacoma would come out with a yellow... would look great with the OFF road version and some big wheels
So is there a manual, quad cab and full-size bed model?
Not in Canada(23)
2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4X4 OFF-ROAD Package Access Cab 4X4!
Perfect in Hawaii where there’s a million or more out here on the road (lifted too) 😆😆😆
I guess it’s too much of a task for Toyota to include led taillights
40k won't get you a baseline off road ATM not in washington state at least unless your willing to wait a year. 4 months ago I paid 50k for my sport, last month the dealership tried to by my truck back at 55k.
What a joke! 50k!? Everyone drives them out there tho.
Try Toyota of Bellevue got mine for 42,400 msrp last October they don’t jack up prices on new ones but the used ones they do!!
Did you say being a TRD PRO while you were reviewing the LED Lights? LOL
He sure did
@@kevmichael21 LOL
New tacoma needs to be released already or a 4runner
Thinking about trading my 2015 Lexus gs350 f sport for a 23 taco off road lol
I’m
Thinking about trading my accord 2014 did U end up trading ?
1:14 dude said trd pro….
Why are you talking so fast? What's the hurry?
Make the Taco cab larger all around in 2024, and keep offering the naturally aspirated V6 and the 6mt. Otherwise, Toyota has lost me.
50k with mark ups, no thx
Hey the R is only 70k more than this.....🤷♂️
It's funny... my Titan Pro4x V8 gets better gas mileage than a V6 midsized tacoma. The tundra atleast gets a ton of low end torque. How do tacomas even sell anymore.
That back seat should be renamed “the penalty box”!
Is that back seat that small ?
40k for a 1/4 ton that gets bad mpg...
Outrageously overpriced..today's market or not!
Am I the only guy struggling to understand our narrator friend? Slow it down! Good grief, I can’t listen fast enough to make out what he’s saying.
You are not the only guy who finds it hard to understand him, hahaha!
Lay off the weed! 😂
So, the only thing that changed about the 2023 and the 2017 is the year? Lame.
Never seen a TRD Pro for 40K. Dealers are loading them up with optional equipment.
Please talk slower and articulate better. I can’t understand what you say half the time. Otherwise good videos. Thanks
Toyota has officially gone from just a little bit more expensive than some to luxury vehicle prices. It's nice but I don't think this little truck is worth $40,000.
Problem is, most “small” pickup trucks are in the 40s.
Picked one up for 28k today
@@freevvvssss which one ?
Too expensive same style and feature 5 years ago
Nice truck. You talk too fast. Slow down just a bit.
I am disgusted that Tacoma trd off road has the option as 2WD. It’s a freaking truck. Needs to be 4WD. That is so stupid. I’d rather have single cab 4wd tor a truck than 2WD 4 door truck. Thank you
