Later that evening Judith complained of a headache and was rushed to hospital. She'd had a stroke. This was May 14 and forced the Farewell tour back months. She recovered eventually & resumed the tour. What an amazing performer!
Judith's voice saved my life, In 1967 My mom was put in the hospital for a nervous breakdown; she had 4 boys in 5 years and my father was an ass, 2bkind, . My mother was committed to a mental hospital where they were frying her brain with shock treatments, I went to stay with an awful aunt while this was going on and I was in hell at 4 years old; I heard an angels voice coming through the radio and it was Judith's'. To this day folk music is the only thing that has kept me whistling and smiling, most of the time.... Thank you everyone Esp. Miss Judith Durham, love eternal...rip.
Just watched this after Judith’s passing. I am 64 years old a cried like a baby. The Carnival is indeed Over, but thank you for the glorious pure musical memories. Now, where are those tissues
I’m crying. Her voice was heavenly. R.I.P. Judith. My dads favourite singer.
I am gobsmacked that Judith Durham's amazing voice would remain utterly unchanged after all those decades. Not a jot of wavering or loss of power or control ... and her vibrato as perfect as ever. The Seekers had a unique, harmonically rich and powerful sound for an acoustic folk band with minimal acoustic instruments.
Imagine performing like this almost half a century after their haydays. They truly are amazing. God bless 💗❤️🎶❤️
Can’t believe they were all in their seventies when this was performed. They have been so good for over 50 years.
Oh my heart is broken. And this song brought the tears. We'll never find another you Judith.
Not diminished by age, quite the opposite. Will never be equalled. Although she has moved on, her star still shines brightly and always will.
The carnival ended on 8/5/22, RIP Judith.
in 1965 I was 17. I'm now 74. I loved it then and love it now.
The Carnival truly is over now. Rest In Peace, Judith
Judith’s voice at 70 was the same as age 20. Amazing
Let's get a million views for this special lady
The voice of an Angel, rest in peace Judith. 🙏
One of australian icons has died this weekend. We in Holland will miss you Judith. R.I.P. You gave us joy with your songs.

Sadly the carnival is really over. Rest in peace lovely lady.
It’s amazing that they have lost none of their greatness through this many decades. Judith Dunham’s voice is still as beautiful as ever. Absolutely one of music’s all-time greatest groups !
