My Dad was in love with her.he passed away1998.He was listening to her songs just before he passed away happy.Mal UK
I'm 77, and also suffer with Bronchiectasis It's been a life long struggle. I loved the Seekers and Judith's version of Danny Boy brings tears to me eyes. RIP Judith.
Such a beautiful voice alway very nice to listen to her cleaness and tone, one of the best voices ever. RIP
I wish she had been honoured as Dame Judith Durham. Her early formal training gave great strength to her voice. Her personality was projected in the clarity and warmth of the tones.
For sure she should that was a real omission. I saw her in 2003 on her 60th birthday tour and her voice was still sublime and such a warm lady too.
I've tried looking into that, but as far as I can tell Australia does not present this award/title anymore.
😢 Sadly missed. A unique voice in a million. So many wonderful memories and songs.......
Very sad I really enjoyed her voice
I always thought she was the most beautiful looking girl on the planet and what a beautiful singer,
Judith ----You have made it to the Promise Land. We`ll never find another YOU.
Beautiful lady, beautiful voice rest in peace x
WHAT A WONDERFUL LIFE, AT THE TIME OF HER PASSING, I DIDN'T REALISE SHE HAD REACHED SUCH A GOOD AGE, BUT IT SEEMED SO SUDDEN, ME NOT KNOWING OF HER PREVIOUS ILLNESS. BUT WAS A FULL LIFE IT WAS, THANK YOU JUDITH, AND THE BOYS FOR EVERYTHING.
The music of my youth. Wonderful memories ❤
EXCELLENT. I knew Judith many years ago, I was only three or four, but my mothers best friend Ruth was the Aunt of another member of The Seekers. They often rehearsed in a bungalow at the rear of Ruth’s house, and I’d gatecrash😂 They were so talented and Judith had very strong ideas about how she wanted to sound and be presented, and I really admired that my whole life. Omg you’ve covered sooooo much! A lot of people don’t know about her post-Seekers career. This will make so many people cheer. It’s wonderful hearing such positive stuff too. (And I still think the Seekers’ We Are Australian should be our national anthem.) Thank you so much for this beautiful video🤗
Thank you for recommending Judith and for your ongoing support of this channel 🥰I really appreciate it and so glad you enjoyed it 🤗❤💯
@@HarmonyHeartsLifestyle-ul5yv you’re an awesome channel. It’s so refreshing when so many videos are superficial and full of click-bait. Your research skills are spot on and I’m here for the duration. Well done!
@@DeidreL9 Thank you 🥰🙏

Very true, crystal clear voices. Their music fills the air with happiness.
I’m so glad we got to see the Seekers in Liverpool a few years ago before her passing. Her voice was absolutely beautiful. There were no videos allowed 😳. But I did one of the Carnival is Over . So glad I did. I play it over and over . RIP beautiful lady with the golden voice. Much missed ❤️
As a American I loved the seekers and I was born in 56 so I loved them and all of rock and roll
I love the Seekers ,God blesse You !❤
I've loved the Seekers since the beginning. Had all the albums. Everybody else liked the Beatles or the Stones. Not me. I loved her voice! I swear I saw them back in the 60's in Orlando FL, but nobody in my family remembers it.
She really was my favourite singer when I was just 16 now74 and gave me so much enjoyment in my life.
Had a meeting with her at Bournemouth after the concert .
May you rest in peace ❤
Thank you so much
God Bless You .
Same here 🇬🇧
I still enjoy their music all these years later
Judith Durham are musical acts thay Australia can forever be proud of.
I don´t think there are many that can compete with her voice. As soon as she opened her mouth everyone was silent and wanted to hear her beatiful voice.
Her voice was really something else. And of course I loved her as so many did.
Rest in peace my love. We were many that loved you.
Morning town ride was my favourite ❤
The Seekers were always wholesome in an era of’whatever goes!
What a wonderfully complete and interesting tribute. Judith achieved so much and gave so much to her fans over so many years. ❤
Thank you so much! I'm thrilled you enjoyed it so much 🥰💯
Voice of an Angel.❤ you Judith
A voice as pure and clear like a bell.
Will Never find another you.😢
Ah, the "lonely ram" song 🙂
Judith Durham, Austtralia's and the Worlds greatest singer mist by millions of people. RIP Judith
Hearing her sing "plaisir d'amour" will make you cry. The most incredible spiritual singer I've ever heard.
She certainly had a very full life and career & l would say the same about her bandmates, The Seekers.
I was at the Royal Albert Hall. Wonderful. I'll always remember it.
I loved her always wanted to migrate to Australia for her never mind she was 14 or 15 years older . RIP
Great singer one of the best
Beautiful in every way. My first crush.
She is such a thrill to listen to and the type of voice we may never hear again!! I had been listening to her often on the ship I was on in Vietnam in 1967-68 because I had her performances on a small reel to reel tape recorder and she made the nights full of hope and positive thoughts. Her and Karen Carpenter were truly gifted and made millions of people happy~!!! Great Job on Her Story and it's very much appreciated~!!
Thank you so very much, I appreciate you! 🥰
A unique voice that stood out even choruses. She will be missed.
😲😲😢 RIP JUDITH
Thank goodness we have utube ❤

Love her. She really caught my heart. Love and love her.❤
Absolutely fantastic have a wonderful weekend ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you dear friend Enjoy also! 🌞
The Seekers finding JUDITH was like someone finding a pot of gold worth millions buried in their back yard. It was very benevolent of her to associate with them. But together they did produce a great sound.
Very enjoyable. thank you
Thank you 🥰
Another good one 😎😍
Thank you 🤗
Lovely voice
A great singer I never heard of.
So sad c-shot vic-tim. Judith RIP.
Great quick summation of her life thanks. I have read "Colors of My Life. Her spirt always shown through all the doubts and illness she and her husband suffered through.
R.I.P./💥\
while I asked a couple of times, my parents refused to tell me why I was given the names Judith Lea - I surmise it was because Dad was a big The Seekers fan, and he also loved Rocklea Road (made by Darrell Lea)
Truly wonderful
Judith was so pretty!
I was in love with her. 🥰🥰
And I always loved the Australian people better ancient than the limes
I always loved the Beatles
I'm glad they changed her name!
If I have any complaints about this documentary, it would be that one of my favourite Seekers songs wasn't mentioned. "I am Australian".. Otherwise I loved it.
"I Am Australian" by The Seekers was not the original version of the song but was a cover by The Seekers. The original song was released by Bruce Woodley one his 1987 double album "Roaring Days/I Am Australian" with his daughter Claire on supporting vocals.
Prayers 🙏🙏
🙏🙏🙏

We are fixed round idea big change rush it all through..but don't believe in main man. Just singularity about bottle neck of changing reality.. death is obsession.
When the crap music of the 1960s ended judith would come on and reduce at least me, to tears..bless her, a tremendous personality very very much missed
@@sicksquid3258 Oh, to be fair, every decade had its crap music - though I suspect what you mean is that the '60s also had lots of great music, which I'd agree with.
@sicksquid325punk 8 Punk Rock
@@angelamary9493 I think I'd agree with you that most punk was crap - but _as music_ , it probably wasn't any _more_ so than the crap music of other decades, (Mind you, I think of it as late '70s rather than '60s. Yes, I would say punk was definitely not '60s.) The real thing about punk was its background: it was a rebellion, especially against some of the "manufactured" pop of the time (and general rebellion of "yoof" at the time): it wasn't so much that it was rubbish, as the fact that its proponents _knew_ it was rubbish, and didn't _care_ .
(Gracious me: over most of my life, if you'd told me I'd ever be defending punk rock, I'd not have believed you! And I'm not really defending it now: I just understand what was going _on_ then better than I did then. But I think it's irrelevant to this thread anyway, as I don't think it was '60s.)
Judith was wonderful, in all decades. (Even when she went jazz, which I'm not keen on.)
To be brutally honest, I hated the Seekers in the 60s. They were so "square" as we used to say back then, but always seemed to be somewhere around the top of the charts. I never knew any of their followers although I'm sure there must have been a lot of closet fans that I did know, just that they were probably too embarrassed to admit it. 🤐😂
She's up there with Karen Carpenter. RIP wonderful ladies!
Karen and Judith are my two fave singers also. x
