I was a child when this came out and my wonderful dad was a huge fan of the Seekers. I remember once in the car he started singing this song and we all joined in and sang it all the way through. We all knew all the words. It was a magic moment. From that moment this became a special song for our family. As we grew older and my brothers learned to play the guitar we often had family sing-songs and this song was never missed out. Happy, happy memories. When this clip flashed back to the 1964 clip, well I’m not afraid to admit it made me emotional, especially with the loss of the lovely and talented Judith Durham. RIP Judith, thank you for the memories.

My oldest brother introduced me to this band back in 165 when appeared on Ed Sullivan show. The whole family had to watch them but no one seemed impressed other than my oldest brother. 10 years later, I found a cassette tape their greatest hits in his garage and started playing tape multiple times a day and became so hooked on all their music. When my brother was slowly dying; I played this in the ICU unit at hospital. He somehow reacted to the music. I knew how much he loved the seekers as I have as well
Just read PaulEveretts comment about losing his wife of 60 years. Like him I came across this song after losing my husband of 50 years on 9 20 2022. Yeah, I'm crying, too. Our marriage was strong because we included a third "person". God. It makes all the difference in the world.
With my wife visiting her in carehome. She has alzheimers and it's great if she opens her eyes, a smidgeon of a smile and holding hands. Listening to this song. She is still here, sort of, but losing her bit by bit. There never will be another her.
I just buried my wife of 60 years on 7/21/22 and came across this song totally accidentally. I have tears streaming down my 85-year-old face. Thank you so very much for such a great song performed brilliantly. Many blessings on all of you. How do you have such a long marriage? Two key ideas: Forgiveness and Fierce Conversations (not arguments) but speaking our truths to each other when the inevitable bumps in the road happened. (I strongly suggest that those reading just the above take the time to read the whole thread because you will learn some pretty amazing information about what happens after death. Paul) 11/6/23 Two more key ideas have emerged. Commitment: Promise celebrated and renewed and mutual spiritual growth FULLY SHARED.
So sad and yet so inspiring for us to read. Let those tears roll Paul. I lost a wife to cancer at her young age of 55. Lots of tears were shed. Even right now just thinking about it. Guess I'm just an emotional guy. Here are a couple of other songs along that highway. Alone, by the Bee Gees. Barry and Lesley are the only survivors of the 5 siblings. Barry's mission is to keep the music alive. Born the same month and year as me, Sep 46. Also the song Memories, by Elvis. Hang in there Paul with songs. Best to you.
Paul: I just duplicated your experience. We were married 55 fantastic years together. I came across it quite by accident, and I've never been so touched by a song. Tears of sorrow and grief and remembrances of wonderful times fill this morning after her memorial service. We triumphed through our first year married, separated by war as I left her side 43 days after making her my bride to go off to fly helicopters in Vietnam. No regrets, maybe just one, not loving her enough every single day. God richly blessed and protected us.
I left a bride and two baby girls when I we t to Vietnam. Married 57 years now and this song says it all beautifully. No one sings it better or with more heart. Brings back many happy memories.
R.I.P. Judith it's been a year ago when we lost you. Your group sounded the same through the years. I rank Judith up there with Karen Carpenter and Linda Ronstadt. You will be missed. You were so beautiful. Thank God for your voice.
All such beautiful voices. Judith's vibrato is different from Karen's... created differently in the throat. I'm no expert, but I think Judith's is like a 'cough' vibrato (like Bert Lahr's Cowardly Lion, where there's lots of power behind the vibrato. Karen's was more of a 'natural" vibrato by moving the larynx up and down. All beautiful stuff.
Ms Judith Durham is Singing with her Husband in Heaven and I would love to Sing this Song with her In Heaven with the Angels!!!! This Song is Special: It is a Godly Song!!! #kyjoe from Lou, KY
I listen to this song every morning in remembrance of my love, Earl, who passed 11/01/2021. We would sing this song in the car and when we come to sing "I'll never find another you", we would look at each other and sing it. Thank you Judith for your beautiful voice on a song that will forever be memorable for the rest of my life.
This beautiful song was included in my beloved husbands’ Celebration of Life service. It’s absolutely true; he was the most uniquely quirky and wonderful devoted and loyal man ever. Married at 35 for the first time and we were married for 29 years 11 months. I know without a doubt this man is in heaven, as he loved Jesus and I will see him again. Love you forever Randy.
My wife and I just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary….this was our song….now 78 years old….thank you Judith….I know we will never find another you…..
I was twenty year old dude, living in South Kensington, London SW 7. I loved watching Top of the Pop on TV every Saturday night. Old songs like this one were played each week, I’m now 79 and still listening to old songs like these on Utube, remembering the days when I was young. Yes, those were the good old days.
I know I'll never find another Judith Durham, and my world is diminished. What a wonderful woman, a wonderful spirit, a wonderful song. God bless The Seekers, and may their music never fade.
Daddy and I would dance to this , way back. Brings tears to my eyes as I close them and dance with him again. I'll be 60 on saturday - I'm older than he ever was but I'm still proudly his baby girl. Thanks for stirring such preciously beautiful memories x
I was 6 years old when this came out on the radio, and I knew when I heard Judith's voice that it was moment that would stay with me forever. Year's on and Judiith's voice still haunta me. I never forget the 1st time I heard her voice and when I go I know it will be a voice I take on the next journey. what a treasure
Who was juddit the male voice. If so it's sad and wonderful song at the same time. Yes her voice was ended a breathtaking voice it's why got you Depp inside
Been listening to this since it was recorded in 1964..still listening..one of my all time favorites..beautiful ful voice Judith..thank you Seekers for this gift
This song reminds me of my beloved husband who is now resting until resurrection comes. My heart never stops shedding tears for him. Yes, someday we'll be in the promised land and we will hold hands again. '' I will never find another you '. Thank you Judith for this beautiful meaningful song. It touches our soul. See you in Paradise too someday!
Come God hurry up and bring here back we need gentler, kinder role models for this generation. Come on oldies stations put the Seekers and other kind songs back over the air. The world needs more love.
Heard this song while being hospitalized for covid19 it gave me hope too survived and as the tears flowed from my eyes I began to feel The Lord entering my Heart. This song has brought ME life once again. May God bless the Seeker's and there wonderful music TDH:AZ
Heard today that Judith passed and it is devastating for her fans and all who knew her. Beautiful, talented and the most amazing voice. What a legacy to leave behind. Sad isn’t strong enough a word. R.I.P. Judith. Thank you for the music.
yes, I actually have the same lung disease and am a singer so absolute kudos to Judith for her amazing perfect pitch of a voice and to live with that damn disease it is not nice........The Seekers a bit before my time but I have over the last couple of days watched so many interviews of her....She really was an amazing woman....RIP Judith Durham and there will never be another you
Hey Kenneth this song brings tears to my eyes also... Fortunately I had someone to send it to and I hope she feels the same... 40 years we've been going so maybe she feels the same!
This is my song because I my darling wife passed away suddenly last August and this song was mine since I met her 56 years ago. It will always remind me of her whenever I hear this song. What a beautiful reminder and memory. The song came out when I met her in 1965.
Full state send off in Melbourne. Another devastating loss to our Australian industry of music and entertainment. An icon. She was brilliant, yet didn't know it. One of the greatest Australian voices ever, yet so humble. Will never be forgotten. ❤😮😢😊
Her voice has done same to me warm powerful sensitive voise it's for this that she is so beautiful I listen to her every day and everytime she gets inside my mind
Thank you for the kind note. My first herald is just two days away it would have been out 51st anniversary and still feel some what lost but ok. @@catskill49murphy27
I, too, first heard this in 1965 as a fifth grade student on spring break. My family had stopped at a Holiday Inn in Florida. We went to eat in their restaurant and that is when I heard this marvelous, timeless masterpiece playing in the background. I was mesmerized by the vocals, Judith's in particular.
I graduated from high school in 1965. We had a folk singing group (3 guys and 2 girls) and this was one of the songs that we sang. This brings back a lot of nice memories.
I first heard it around the same time, and it became permanently stored--easily accessible!--in my memory. I love her voice and I love her songs, and I'm sure I'd love her if I ever met her.
Am almost 74 now and have enjoyed this song for the better part of 60 yrs. I'm still waiting for a gal like Judith to come along -She's one fine gal with an amazing voice.
Feel very sorry or you 😥!! If you have bible .. in Revelation chapter 21:4,5 and John chapter 5:28,29 you will find a lovely hope for the future ... it's a wonderful promise from our creator ♡♡♡
I was not aware of this band until last year! But I see it's not too late to appreciate Judith's voice... LIVE! ;-) As we say in French, it hasn't put a wrinkle on.
Durham's husband died when she was 51. She easily could have got married to someone. I believe she did not because she'd never find another "you". Durham believed in this song and that made this song real and touchy, IMHO.
lost my life partner on 9-11-2019. after 20years of marriage and a couple more years before that and she was a year older than me. she made it to 64. and today april 26 2023 would have been her birth day. she loved the emily Dickinson quite the the best is yet to be. yes my dear jane francis beebe-waterschoot yes i miss you and i will carry on using your goodness as my guiding light. love you still and maybe a tad more because what you did behind the scenes.
@@ragnarkristoffersen it is not mentioned as song of sorrow it is a celebration of a life that is transitioned to life after earth. or a loved one who is lost from what you want fo remember like a person who has Alzheimer's .
Judith lost all of her money when the Swiss bank she had it in collapsed. Unfortunately, the bank was not insured. I have no idea if she minded at all. Shades of this hauntingly beautiful song.
I have listened to this song so much since I lost my husband in 2014. Many a tear I've shed. One of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. Rest in Peace Judith ❤
I remember those days for sure There was this beautiful song 🎵 and many more also .a great band of that time and still out do some of this time in our time
Pure beauty in her voice. I've listened to The Seekers for close to 60 years. Rest in everlasting peace, Judith. We have your voice to remember you always.
I too have kept this song close to my heart about the same amount of time. It was a song I sang to myself in 1972-1974 period. It got me through some tough times. It helped validate my feelings
i play this video every day it still brings tears to my 71 year old eyes i am so lonely and Judith I hope I will see you in heaven your so beautiful and you have the voice of an angel thank you so much
Who's listening this song in 2021 like me? Memories of those far-off day? Memories tinged with sadness ? Reminiscences and Memories crowded your mind? Long lost friend? or heyday of your life? Have you finally found your another one? I want hear your stories. Leave your beautiful stories at my door I'll leave them for the one who waits behind. From the shadow of your smile..
RlP Judith, you had such a beautiful voice ,I have fond memories of you and the Seekers, growing up with the Seekers in Primary School, and then later on in life on the bus weekend trips away , the whole lot of us would join in the sing alongs
What a voice! RIP Judith. xx Grew up listening to her, my Dad said she had the 'voice of an angel' , played a Seekers track at his funeral, I feel a loss now she has gone. The end of an era. God Bless.
Having read her autobiography, I was surprised to learn how lacking in confidence she was about her appearance. i would've given my right arm to look as good as she did! Just goes to show how we don't appreciate how we appear to others!
Judith is "one of few" in the world that has "perfect pitch." And yes her voice is very touching. She has had a stroke and still sings in perfect pitch. What a woman and singer.
He Will Be There Waiting For you I Know there is A Heaven When I had a Serious Car Accident I Watched my Friend Go There So Go and live your Life in the Knowing you Will see Him Day May He Rest in Peace ❤
My Mom also, my Dad passed from COVID in December 2020, she plays this every day. Survived war, the streets of Philly growing up, only to have COVID take him away at 84 years of age in December. Heartbreaking. Miss you Dad xo

I was very young when this song came out, Remember it well. Too young to understand it at that time. Always liked it. Now that I’m much older, I think it’s one of the most beautiful songs ever written !
I listen to this again after having lost my wife of 51 years to Cancer, and remember the good times, with very wet eyes. What a great tune and group. We loved this musical era...
I am 70 year old Brazilian retired pastor. I didn't know Judith nor Theo Seekers. The First time they came to my knowledge Judith had already passed away! What a voice she had! RIP Judith you live in my heart!
Aunque no me crean, recién el día de hoy he conocido a este buen grupo australiano y me he enamorado de sus canciones...Dios tenga en su gloria a su vocalista Judith Durhand que hace poco nos dejó 🙏🙏🙏

I was in my garage listening to my favourite radio station when I heard of Judith's passing. I recall becoming numb and lifeless and in an instant I began sobbing profusely. It was as if I'd lost a life long cherished loving friend. A day never passes by without me thinking of her Angelic voice. Dear Judith, there will never be another you. I'm sure the Angels in heaven will have a hard time competing with your beautiful voice. Thank you from 1965 - 2022 - God bless.
Beautiful tribute Rodney for a lovely woman with a magnificent voice. ❤ Rodney you don't happen to know what key this beautiful song is being played in. No worries if not. Mary xx
I grew up with my parents playing The Seekers music on cassette tape. This song reminds me of my dad and he passed away 2 months ago this week. I can't believe that Judith Durham has passed away. The music world is a little greyer without her in it.
music like this is no longer being made, made by real musicians, with no computers, or drum machines. the money was well spent on the production cost. I am so glad that I was around to hear it on the airwaves when it first came out. I also really liked "GEORGIE GIRL" !!!!!.
thank you for responding back to me!!!!!, I just can not get into this "GARBAGE" music of today, and it looks like it is not going away any time soon. music would as a rule would change every 5 years. we have been "STUCK" with this style of music for 25 years now. I got off the music boat around 1995------- "I HATE RAP MUSIC", it really is not music, it is more like "CHANT" !!!!!!
@@gregoryclemen1870 I totally agree with you that today's music is mostly total Garbage, especially the rap music (or rap noise). I was forced to leave a car dealership the other day for a casual visit because of the kind of lousy annoying music they were playing in their show room nowadays.
@@gregoryclemen1870 I've heard some churches use chants instead of hymns which seems very mind controlling to me, much like hypnosis. Practically all the modern crap is very mind controlling also.
With gratitude and admiration to the lovely Judith Durham and the Seekers. The only group to ever knock both the Beatles and the Rolling Stones from reaching #1 spot on the U.S. charts! We're still enjoying and listening and we know for sure Judith "we'll never find another you" !!!
RIP Judith - I 1st heard your beautiful voice when I was 3years old listeing to the radio that my mother would leave running whilst she would drop my elder brother to infant school - I am grateful for my mother for leaving that little blue Philips radio running because I looked forward to the wonderful tunes of the sixties whilst I waited for mum to return and feed me - this song and Georgey girl were amongst my favourite's from the Seekers and your voice was amazing and timeless and it made me cry about my brother who died in 2021 reminding me of this song and my mother taking my brother to school - life is so short and so quick but so amazing how wonderful God is to create so many wonderful people - RIP Judith you will be missed.
Sorry for your loss of your brother . I lost my brother when I was 8. Listening to the fab 4 and Judith's voice , makes me happy even tho I have tears in my eyes , I always remember my brother hearing this beautiful song. I lost my 41-year-old daughter seven years ago on July 19. I just turned 73 yesterday. It’s been seven years and this song is still so appropriate and always will be not just for a husband or a wife but for the loss of your child. Thank you for this song Judith. I remember when it first came out this is my generation. It was just as appropriate back then and had completely different meaning to me since I hadn’t lost anybody to death yet. But for a teenage girl, this was seriously the boyfriend song.
I am making my comment on 5-5-23. I love this song. I think it's message goes way beyond words. I like how this group the Seekers stayed together to sing to bless other people. The lady has a beautiful voice and it has not lost it's power through the years . And the gentleman😮 also sing well. Listen to it often. Thank you. Johnny The Patriot
I listen to this song often by a Golden era group. I usually listen to it while in my computer room, all alone, so I can cry as much as I want to without bothering others. I lost my darling wife and mother of 61 yeas back in 2019 35 days before she turned age 79. Half of me is gone, and can never be replaced. My sorrow and sadness will continue until death, then I will be with her, by her side, at our grave site forever, no more to be parted.
I absolutely love The Seekers. And this song in particular. Great music. And Judith had such a lovely voice. I was born in the late 60's and I love the music. And also, I found my partner late in life. I send him the link of this song they have recorded in the studio to let him know how I feel about him.

God bless all our Veterans. Aussie men are the best in the world. Us girls are lucky to have you.
What a sing, I still remember the.m on the Tinight Programme on BBC1 with Cliff Mitchelmore, as good to say as ever it was in 1960's
I left a bride and two baby girls when I we t to Vietnam. Married 57 years now and this song says it all beautifully. No one sings it better or with
more heart.
She s a amazing singer, no fancy electronics just a pure singer at a level of her own on her own! Incomparable.
...and Spanky McFarlane.
My friend Judith Durham been dead for over 2 yrs ago
I listen to this song every morning in remembrance of my love, Earl, who passed 11/01/2021. We would sing this song in the car and when we come to sing "I'll never find another you", we would look at each other and sing it. Thank you Judith for your beautiful voice on a song that will forever be memorable for the rest of my
life.
So very touching. Thanks for sharing this moving story

Praise our Lord Jesus and what a beautiful tribute to your husband Randy, so beautiful draws many tears. God loves us.
I am sorry for your loss. You are right will see them again and when you do all of you will sing this song.
My wife and I just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary….this was our song….now 78 years old….thank you Judith….I know we will never find another you…..
Congrats,well done,together that long.
I was twenty year old dude, living in South Kensington, London SW 7.

Time is the healer,take care.😊
I first heard this song in 1965 and have never forgotten it. Judith is so much more appealing than the flash and trash singers we have today.
What a wonderful time we lived in!
Am almost 74 now and have enjoyed this song for the better part of 60 yrs. I'm still waiting for a gal like Judith to come along -She's one fine gal with an amazing voice.
My wife’s ashes were placed in my sons grave today. I dedicate this beautiful song to them both. Thank you The Seekers.
Un fuerte abrazo.
May their memories be a blessing.

This song is just absolutely magical. Something about it. They just all harmonize fantastic . One of the greatest songs of all time
Durham's husband died when she was 51. She easily could have got married to someone. I believe she did not because she'd never find another "you". Durham believed in this song and that made this song real and touchy, IMHO.

An absolute pleasure to listen to her voice we won't ever find another you it's was a pleasure ❤
So true
I listen to this song often by a Golden era group. I usually listen to it while in my computer room, all alone, so I can cry as much as I want to without bothering others. I lost my darling wife and mother of 61 yeas back in 2019 35 days before she turned age 79. Half of me is gone, and can never be replaced. My sorrow and sadness will continue until death, then I will be with her, by her side, at our grave site forever, no more to be parted.
this is a fabulous group could listen to them all day Judith has such a beautiful voice
Never find another era like the one I grew up in. Judy’s voice is absolutely beautiful..together they make magic!
Timeless beauty
Yes we were the very luckiest of all generations,50s 60s. Thank you God.
Well never find another group like the seekers. They are unique..wonderful singer's...
I absolutely love The Seekers. And this song in particular. Great music. And Judith had such a lovely voice. I was born in the late 60's and I love the music. And also, I found my partner late in life. I send him the link of this song they have recorded in the studio to let him know how I feel about him.
