You should do another reaction video to 'For Whom The Bell Tolls'... But this time react to their live performance from August 31 1985. The main reason you need to react to this version is for the LEGENDARY Cliff Burton, probably the GREATEST Bass player of all time!! And his intro into this live performance is werth it alone.
Timeless masterpiece. This Album came out in 1984, and it's 2024 I'm listening to this everyday! FWTBT, Ride the Lighting, Creeping Death, Fight Fire with Fire 🌩🔥
The best version of this song is at Day on the Green at the Oakland Coliseum when Cliff Burton was still alive. The intro solo was bass guitar. Cliff was the best metal bassist ever.
Great, great reaction. Love Metallica and their vast catalogue. Even their failures just add to the legacy. Their greatness also enabled them to create music that they could play for decades live and often even improving on the studio versions.
Go see them live. Keep digging into their catalog. Worth the money for the experience. You could make a great video. Before, during and after the concert.🤘🎸🤘

I would love to see you guys react to some Jollymon (grunge band from the 90s, they recently released a new album, 2016 I think? Void Walker, it is beautiful)
I saw Metallica in 1989 with The Cult as the opening band. It was in support of their "And Justice For All" tour. Every song was as good or better live. These guys play all these songs note for note live. By the way, you guys should check a song by their opening band that year, The Cult. "Fire Woman" is a great song of theirs. It's worth it to watch the official video to see how energetic The Cult is on stage. Especially their singer Ian Astbury, who has one of the best rock voices ever, in my opinion.
One of the best songs ever put out by Metallica was The call of Ktula. It’s about 8 1/2 minutes long, but a very emotional song…even though it has absolutely no lyrics! You need to look up what the song is about before you listen to it to understand the mood/tempo changes. I highly recommend this song! It’s one of the best guitar playing songs ever!

As a metal head who listened to Metallica since day 1 and it has always been and always will be my favourite band I love watching your reaction videos. ❤
I've got to say, channels like your guy's are kind of a drug for me at this point. I love seeing people's reactions to things they're not typically into or exposed to, like y'all with Metal, Bill Burr, etc. I love to see it, especially with metal, not just seeing your take on it, but to see y'all look up the meanings, seeing the song in a new light, and just jamming out. Honestly the biggest reason is that it gives me hope for the future just seeing people willing to try new things, willing to see things from different perspectives and thinking outside the box that society, as a whole, tries to put all of us in.
As an old metallica fan, it's always a pleasure to see great reactions for this special band. I think you should listen to a song called "Dyers eve"... Trust me on this one..... 🤘🤘 Keep up the good work with your channel.

worth it*
Metallica was my first concert. 1988 . And justice for all tour. I was hooked!
Timeless masterpiece. This Album came out in 1984, and it's 2024 I'm listening to this everyday! FWTBT, Ride the Lighting, Creeping Death, Fight Fire with Fire 🌩🔥
The "Day at the Green" live perfomance of this song is epic awesomeness
The best version!!
Fuck that version is amazing. RIP Cliff.
Awesome version...James dodging a beer bottle and flipping the guy that threw it a bird and not missing a lick is still awesome to watch...lol
The best version of this song is at Day on the Green at the Oakland Coliseum when Cliff Burton was still alive. The intro solo was bass guitar. Cliff was the best metal bassist ever.
Keep the Metallica coming, dudes! Love watching you guys/new people discover Metallica and metal music in general. Great stuff, bros! 👍
Great, great reaction. Love Metallica and their vast catalogue. Even their failures just add to the legacy.
Their greatness also enabled them to create music that they could play for decades live and often even improving on the studio versions.
Y'all need to watch them do this song live 1985 A day on the Green concert. Won't disappoint
It is a trip watching you guys jam out to who I grew up listening to.
Go see them live. Keep digging into their catalog. Worth the money for the experience. You could make a great video. Before, during and after the concert.🤘🎸🤘
Wow totally tickles my heavy metal heart hearing you guys singing crazy train !! That jus made my day !
The whole album is a masterpiece of metal! To Metallica begins where Black Sabbath ends, a new generation of Metal.
True I never thought of the time like that, just as Sabbath loses Dio these guys get on their feet.
@@ii-wt7jq I thought Sabbath was done after they broke but Dio man...Heaven and Hell blew me away...still does.
@@xirknight I can easily say greatest voice I've ever heard, Dio was and is unlike any other
I absolutely love watching black guys listen to metal and become a metalhead!!!
My best friends Roger and Dewayne started listening when we 1st started hanging out....now when u look at their Playlist u find a ton of metal !!!!!!!!
Watching you guys experience these songs for the first time brings back memories of when I first heard these songs. My friends and I dissected every riff, every word, but then repeatedly listened, enjoying and appreciating every bit of the song.
I would love to see you guys react to some Jollymon (grunge band from the 90s, they recently released a new album, 2016 I think? Void Walker, it is beautiful)
Love seeing you guys make what’s old new again… And kudos to the dude being decisive with the Randy Rhoads call 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Correct analysis
I saw Metallica in 1989 with The Cult as the opening band. It was in support of their "And Justice For All" tour. Every song was as good or better live. These guys play all these songs note for note live. By the way, you guys should check a song by their opening band that year, The Cult. "Fire Woman" is a great song of theirs. It's worth it to watch the official video to see how energetic The Cult is on stage. Especially their singer Ian Astbury, who has one of the best rock voices ever, in my opinion.
The Cult is the shit!!!!
Right in the feels….that’s how it first hit me too…waaaay back in the mid 80’s
You need to listen to each album in their entirety to appreciate and understand each album’s message.
Love this. Metallica some of the best workout/lifting music there is. Love seeing younger generations get into it (I'm 34). Stranger things did a great thing for Metallica and introducing the kids to real metal
That's funny you say that because AJFA was the only album we'd listen to back when I was a teenager lifting weights.
@@gabrieldilworth8114 It's wild to me to picture being a teenager at the time that album came out haha. Pretty cool.
@@robstaaass Metallica concerts were awesome in the 80s. Packed to the gills with teenage metal heads. No security, everybody smoking, wild chics. Probably the best show was 89 with Queensryche Operation Mindcrime. Had backstage passes. Stillgot the ticket somewhere. lol.
Stranger things is not introducing younger people to Metallica, Metallica is way better than that garbage and stands on its own
@@jareddyer3142 Yeah it is bro. It's introducing Metallica to a demographic of kids who would never ever listen to it otherwise. They would keep on listening to the mostly trash that's out today.
"Disposable Heroes" from the Master Of Puppets album will rock your worlds.
Boom Bap drum beat like Wherever I May Roam ...... Love It !!!!!
I am 52 and have been and still listen to Metallica since the Kill m All album
Metallica never wastes time! They’re perfecting every second they play!
To Live Is To Die is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard in my life! As a mixed kid like Brock I grew up listening to all kinds of different music and Metallica was one of the bands that had a profound impact on my youth. Musical geniuses with some pretty deep lyrics. If you guys want to hear some pure musical talent with minimal lyrics check this song out. Off of the And Justice For All album (their best album probably) it's a little long but well worth a listen!
From 3:14 to like 3:45 that's the greatest reaction to Metallica I've ever seen and the way I would wish everyone reacted when I showed them back in the day 🤣
From a longtime Metallica fan this is in my opinion one of if not the best rock bands ever! Their sound is unique so much so that no matter where you are if a Metallica song comes on you know it's them!
Oh....one more thing.... When they played this song, Cliff Burton came out and was under a single purple spotlight...I'll never forget it, ever..... And proceeded to make every man, woman and child in Ft. Waste, IN. feel their hearts beat in their chests as he played the intro to this.... It was that perfect and that loud!!! No shit!!! He was INCREDIBLE!!! CLIFF EM' ALL BABY!
I've been a fan of Metallica since I was 12 (I'm more than 20 years older than that now). It's really fun watching you guys hear them for the first time.
Gary Moore was the guitarist that made one of you cry. Don't cast your vote for greatest guitarist until you've seen Prince play While My Guitar Gently Weeps, or Clapton, or Eddie Van Halen. You've gotta listen to some new Metallica too - The Day That Never Comes and All Nightmare Long are amazing.
I've misheard a lot of lyrics in my time and have heard this song a million times. Never did I think the opening line was what you guys heard. Thanks guys, I'll never hear it the same again. Keep up the good work. How about Metallica "Dyers Eve". It's a Banger!!!
i started fucking crying
I was laughing so hard I almost cried. Never have I ever heard that before in all my years of listening to this and now I cannot not hear it 😅.
@@시우시우-g8nI hear it but ik why 😅😅
This Is by far my favorite song by them, been waiting for you guys to react to this one
same!
FWTBT is to Metallica what Hallowed Be Thy Name is to Iron Maiden. They are the top 2 80s metal bands imo.
Huge Metallica fan here, so fun to watch ya'll jam like I used to well sometimes still do
I LOVE watching you guys during the song's intro! Each one of you has a different vibe that you like, and it shows!
Just epic times.... lyrics 😝 mess with you...they heard what I did the first line 🤣
As an old metallica fan, it's always a pleasure to see great reactions for this special band.
I think you should listen to a song called "Dyers eve"...
Trust me on this one..... 🤘🤘
Keep up the good work with your channel.
I love watching their reactions for the first time. I remember the first time I heard Metallica, almost 40 years ago, it was very similar then… lol… Rock on!!! 🤟🏻
You guys are awesome for actually giving this music a chance, it makes me so happy to see you head banging along with it
You guys have become metalheads!!! 😊😂 Great work all - enjoy the journey!
Next suggestions: Creeping Death Moscow 91’… (played after Enter Sandman which you all watched). Record version - Disposable Heroes… imo their best song… Hammett makes the guitar bleed nearly…
You guys should definitely listen to "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)". It's on the Master of Puppets album.
Metallica's best album by far
How do you think this one is better than MOP? Legit question cause I can never decide between these albums and and justice for all
@@nickninja52 Cover looks better
Black album brother
@@nickninja52 for me ride the lightning just has a sound and feel that none of their other albums can touch plus it was the first album of Metallica's that I owned so maybe im a bit biased to that one. MOP is a great album theres no denying it I mean battery, leper messiah, disposable heroes and obviously the title track are all metal classic's but for me ride the lightning will always hold rank above the others.
@@kyprosalbakri8963 Definitely not used to love the black album cant listen to it at all now to cheesy.
One of the best Metallica songs of all time
Y’all boys just scratching the surface of a whole different world of music from 80s and 90s
You need to see the live S&M version of this!!!!
Yes I told them it is fire❤❤❤❤I don’t know whose idea was to put a heavy metal band in the same room with a symphony orchestra but I love it
Oh. This will be epic.
they should, that’s such a gem
Yes! The S&M versions are good and anyone who disagrees can exit stage left because we don't need that kind of negative energy.
Lulu is prolly the only thing by Metallica that I outright dislike.
I enjoy your videos. They're fun. And you guys are opening your minds to incredible music. Intelligent and interesting songs written and performed by extremely talented people. I'm not sure if most people really understand how complicated and difficult it is to play instruments and flawlessly (or almost) record them. Keep going, you guys. You should make a video of all of your top 10 songs so far. There is so much more to discover. Its fun when people first get in to and learn songs that I have been loving for so many years.
A request, if i may. Please do some reaction videos for the first Limp Bizkit album titled "Three Dollar Bill Ya'll". Please everyone, trust me. This album is incredible. Literally, incredible. You're all gonna love it. ✌🤘
You guys are hilarious. Just bumped into y’all page and absolutely love it. Your reactions are priceless and authentic. 😅👏🏼
Same!
this is one of my favorite series now. I laughed my ass off! I'm a huge Metallica fan and this is really entertaining to see new faces listening to them for the first time.
dude in the red hat ..RANDY is the GOAT! ... quiet riot ..... come on feel the noise ... thats him too solo is AWESOME
Basada en la guerra civil española. Gracias MetallicA por semejante obra de arte.
I’ve said this before but Metallica had a very early contributor named Lloyd Grant that was a black dude. Most metal bands dgaf about race. Glad to see you guys all headbanging. That was me in my friends in the 80’s to this exact song. Also a pretty cool guitar player recommendation to react to would be Steve Vai’s Teeth of the Hydra 🤯
1:54...when the METALLICA kicks in
They call this headbanger music because you literally can’t help but “bang” your head along to the music. Metallica, best metal band of all time.
This song still gets me fired up after all these years. Great reaction guys.
