My last girl friend would ask me if she did something would it bother me? Then would argue with me when I said it would. Example, this guy asked me to go hang out at his house. Would you mind if I had coffee with him. Was a fucking exhausting relationship.

@@huMANs_channel My response ended up being" why ask me if it bothers me? Your going to do whatever you want to do anyway." This response gave me somewhat better response. Sad part with the last one is I don't think she was a bad person. I just don't think she was comfortable with a person like me. I'm extremely slow to anger and very patient. I will be eternally grateful to her for giving me closure. Thank you for your channel. The way you speak with such even and matter of fact tones really relays the knowledge well. I'm not a hateful person and some of the channels seem to be a lot of bitter people.

Women want their cake and eat it too. They want the husband to provide and take care of her, but she wants to continue living like a single woman. The Married, yet Single Woman of today. Seriously, I wish I grew up in a different generation. I wouldn't miss the internet or the modern conveniences we have, just to have a relationship like my grandparents had.

Unfortunately thats what women respond to the best. You playing your role as the strong man, no matter your real feelings. In the past Ive seen women loose attraction for me right after ive been emotional (weak in her head) because of a certain situation in life. Women love liars and hate honesty. Ive experienced it personally. As long as I am acting in a certain way, she is happy, i know its fake happiness, but ive learned to do what i have to in order to get what I want.

    Best advice I've seen:
    Simulate your downfall.
In a heartbeat you will see who has the knives out for you: family, significant other, 'friends', etc.
In my case I lost my job, and gained back my life.

Outwardly, most of my life has been other people’s version of downfall, and it works just like you said: living in a van for 6 years while I saved for my first house, liquidating my entire life, including my second house (an 8-bedroom monstrosity that ironically looked like success to THEM, but was trapped misery for me), divorcing, moving into a one-room apartment on the beach, driving a car with almost 400,000 miles on it, not “being able” to have relationships with women that last more than 6-9 months (“Wouldn’t you know it, she just wasn’t The One. I’ll keep looking.”) I think even THEY finally figured out that the “failed” relationship part was a huge win.
All of these things looked so much like failure that they served very well to keep people away and to encourage them to show their true colors.
It didn’t keep them from attempting to siphon off the benefits of a life lived like mine, in the rare circumstance that they could be served by me, but it DID make it very easy a I got older, to be unavailable to them. Unfortunately, as a young man I mistook their using me for help as them opening a door to a relationship of reciprocity, interest, and understanding.
      Live and learn.

      @@Drizzly_Bear I hear you.
My story is depressingly similar. My sisters and mother fawned on me when I had successes and didn't lift a finger to help me when I had inevitable setbacks.
People can betray me once, and never again - and that includes 'family'.
      Vipers!

Family is not an exception for me either.
I raised a daughter by myself, and I warned her once when she threatened to call the police if I tried to force her to stay in and clean her room:
“If you ever involve the government in my life, it will be the end of our relationship forever.”
Her mother got a similar, though slightly different statement from me once, which is how I ended up with full custody and no alimony.

I had (might be 'have' but its been a few weeks) an associate that would often spend her time with me, as in she would come to me. We'd talk, sometimes get food, I think I was her sounding board. I am 17 years her senior. She was lamenting her life one night when I asked as part of the flow of conversation why she didn't take off her make-up? She is always heavily made up, even behind her ears, whether it is at work or casual. Honestly sometimes it reminds me of a paint-by-numbers. She flipped out as if I had asked her to do something immoral. Thought I'd share this because of your last sentence. I think society has really warped what it means to be human.

@@Furzkampfbomber You've read too much into it. I did say 'associate', but that doesn't mean co-worker, but i can see how you thought that. I see her at her work, as she is a loans officer at the bank I hold my accounts at. I was actually once her tutor when she was going through school and then Uni. She is a family friend. Unfortunately she is also the by product of a divorced family so I make sure I'm protected. I actually have my small unit wired for camera and sound. I do my business from home and to cover any and all conversations, I make sure that they are recorded. I learnt the hard way many years ago that what the client asks for isn't always what they want.
Following MeToo she asked me one day if the cameras were recording and was insulted when I told her yes. Even showed her the footage. When she got insulted, I challenged her with why it was any different to her work place and pointed to the notice on my door entry that advised of security recording. She eventually got over it when she need my assistance later .
I call her an associate because she is not a 'friend'. As she has aged she has gotten more opinionated and entitled. She is also unable to keep a confidence to save herself. Still a 'nice' girl, but she will be a single cat-lady unless she changes her attitude. As for recording? I dont trust my own sisters, I certainly don't trust my female associates.
Finally though, thanks for your concern in the behavior pattern you saw. You raised very good points and most people don't have their houses wired for surveillance, so I appreciate the feedback. BTW she called me 2 days before Christmas asking if she can come over. I was in a relationship with a woman who has two Masters degrees in Psychology and is a licensed counsellor. I thought it would be safe to show my vulnerable side to her; especially as I am still dealing with my father's death. Nope.
The relationship took an immediate turn for the worse and that totally blindsided me.
We went from a strong dynamic to her being distant, condescending and finding fault with everything I did. The relationship ended soon after and she blamed me for it.
Women need to realize how much strength it takes for men to talk about deep emotional pain and exposing a side of us that is very vulnerable.
Her solution was to go sleep with someone else that she found more 'alpha' at the moment.
This is why I've given up on women and focus on my career.

These coaches anticipate and respond to the fears of men; especially the fear of losing a woman. "If you don't do this" or "if you do that"... she will be in another castle. Why should men jump through 1001 hoops, simply because the other side is not willing to compromise their primal instincts with certain norms and values? It takes two to tango.

Jeffrey KRUPA, you got it. Below are a few specifics that add to your comment.
The question of "married or not?" mapped onto MGTOW: if already married and a man learns from, say, Straughan, the principle of starting a nest egg that wife does not know about, and this money is set aside specifically to bulwark against a divorce-rape, that married man is MGTOW. If not married, a man who's heard or read about actual MGTOW values will continue to stay unmarried.
Some go monk mode; obviously no sex.
Others choose a riskier lifestyle. MGTOW says go with the pros (escorts), or don't do it if she knows your real name, where you live, where you work, or your license plate number. Take your used condom with you to avoid being spermjacked.

And when we start smiling and shrugging and not reacting the way we are 'supposed' to, they mess the bed. The fear of their own inability to control their impulses must be universal, because everybody's the same, right? It is projection and we aren't reacting the same way they would and there is nothing more terrifying than the unknown to a small, closed mind.

If a new female doesn't respond or your gf doesn't respect you anymore because you shared some vulnerable things, then she is not good for you. You're so right! She cannot be trusted. You must leave.
I'm in my 50's and met this attractive, fit 46 yr old separated single mom with 3 kids still at home. She disclosed what she is looking for 'in a man' and I thought to myself... "I'm in, I am all those things." Instead of gaming I said, "Most healthy men would rather date a divorced, not separated woman who actually offers things in return instead of a one-sided list of 'must-have/be traits.'
She said, 'I don't think this will work out." I smiled. I really felt strong there.
"Never sleep, never rest." Well said.

I noticed something in my late 20’s. Maybe other always have known or others yet to see it:
Throughout my teens and 20’s, I always laughed to myself about guys that were clearly displaying false bravado and over the top confidence Etc. I could never take that seriously and their demeanor makes it seem like they are scared or compensating for lack some other quality or thing.
Then I realized girls actually liked them for this behavior, that I could clear as day see was false. Somehow girls couldn’t, or choose not to see when it’s fake.
So that was all apparent for many years.
Then one day it dawned on me, that girls also put up a false display of being cute or nice etc. and we men fall for it, but to other women it’s probably clear as day that we are being manipulated.
I think I’m a bit slow when it comes to interpersonal relationships. So maybe that always common sense. Lol but that’s my story.

Thats a very interesting theory and I think it has a lot of merit. Eg. my wife is very naive when dealing with men. I often warned her in advance about certain men who offered her jobs or pretended to know a friend of hers just to get closer to her. I could see right away the bullshit they talked and the fake confidence they tried to portray. Sometimes I didn't even need to be present to know it was an act. She could simply describe the interaction. And BTW some of these interactions were genuine and my alarm bells did not go off on those. I could automatically tell the difference. Now flip it: I've been to dinner parties, weddings etc where I would be talking to female and my wife would become very jealous, very quickly, but not because I was talking to a female but because she instantly recognised the women displaying signs of aggressive seduction. I did not see these signs right away but afterwards my wife described them and it started to jog my subconscious memory. I suddenly pictured every hair flick, shoulder strap adjustment, licking of lips etc.I was pretty amazed at how clear they were after the fact.

I'm like "Not in the slightest. Depression cases have exploded exponentially. The only thing to control it that has changed is funding. As a man, if you come out as weak, nevermind being met with pity, you are met with contempt and despised."
Women love having the new age pseudo-equality. They get all of the nice little perks like voting and forced respect without any of those yucky yucky side effects like dying in wars, dying in jobs, dying as early as men, paying for the date, paying for dinner, being the breadwinners, pursuing potential dates, doing yardwork, inspecting the bumps in the night, paying the bills, planning literally anything, losing custody of their children, losing half of their stuff in divorce.
Love how women traditionally complain about strangers they're going to ignore anyways, not sticking their necks out at first message and writing them a personalized poem and rather conserve as much life as they can with a "hey", and then they show just how faulty they are with worthless opening lines on apps like Bumble where they have to open conversation. It is the perfect example of women wanting all the perks of each era, while taking none of the detriments.

More important than posturing strength to women, it was impressed upon me recently that a quality men must have, particularly in this day and age, is being resolute against the things that life throws at you, be that through your fellow human being, fortune, or whatever. I was struck by this after watching the movie Joker recently (excellent movie and performance, btw). We all can claim at having been beaten down by life events, society, other people, etc, but, being resolute, being able to just "take it", or, even better, channeling that negativity into a more positive conduit, and NOT let it turn you into a horror, or make you give up on yourself, or make you lose sight of your OWN value or values that you possess, that may be the most important fundamental or foundational quality a man can have. Being able to maintain that definition of yourself, to yourself, through all trials a lifetime can and will throw at you, and realize all these things in the world outside me have only the power over me that I grant them. Whether you're rich and live in a mansion on a hill or broke and destitute on the street, walking tall within yourself and not being transformed into something you don't even recognize anymore by the horrors done unto you. Or even more, not allowing those misfortunes or evils to co-opt you in your OWN self destruction. Resolute.

JP was over when he said that western men alive today had no right to be proud of the countries their ancestors had built (to which every other culture wants to come). Actually he was over before that when he discouraged western men from collectivising as a defence against invasion. He didn't use such terminology but that's what he meant. Interesting that his wife has cancer; a disease aggravated by resentment.

You are sooooo correct!!! When you are down and out, only people who truly care for you step up and help carry you along the way. That doesn't mean that they shoulder your burden but as you said, they have your back. This not only applies to women, but men too. When you are at the bottom, you'll see who truly cares for you. I've been there, at the very bottom. That was 13 years ago and it became very evident who cared and who did not.

The lion bit was a very powerful analogy, and it’s true for humans as well. Super macho men rarely live to see 70, and many of them start dropping off as early as their 50’s.

women like alphas when they have a beta and they like betas when they have an alpha. when i was in my teens and early 20s women seemed to like fashion conscious pretty boy betas and manly men were not the flavour of the month. the whole alpha beta thing is really just a phase, women are all over the place. it doesnt matter what you are alpha beta part time full time, the likelihood is she will pull the rug from under your feet at some point. as for the pua stuff, its a complete oxymoron. if a man becomes successful at picking up women then all he really is showing is the failure of long term relationships, and or commitment. notches are not as challenging as a meaningful relationship, and the fact a meaningful relationship is so difficult to come by proves how fickle women are, or how incompatible men and women are when it comes down to long term commitment, and the reality of what 'love' means.

I don’t know what the experience is like if you’re in that top 20%, but ALL of my relationships except for my two Borderlines, have felt like the women were reluctantly there, with one foot out the door.
Fortunately, I’ve always picked up on it, and I don’t bother lying to myself, so I’ve always been appropriately (un)invested and uninjured when they pulled the ripcord.

Exactly. Not once have I felt known by a woman I was involved with.
My favorite moment was with one of the Borderlines. She spewed almost 4 hours of the most purposefully horrible crap, for absolutely zero cause, and I never lashed out. Just patiently waited for it to subside. That made her behavior worse and worse.
Near the 4th hour mark I finally threw her on the ground and choked her- something I’ve never done in my life.
She later said, “I had no idea you were like that.”
And I said, “I know. You weren’t interested enough to bother getting to know me. I would have told you I was capable of much worse.”
