I started using the Redken volume shampoo/conditioner a couple of months ago. I’m trying to grow my hair out. I finally saw my stylist for a trim after 6 months and she asked what have I been doing because I had not one single split end on my shoulder length layered hair. She gave me a micro trim and said I didn’t need anymore off, she just refreshed the ends. Literally less than a centimeter.

As someone with Asian hair, your channel and recommendations have literally changed my hair life. Among the Asian community that I'm from, people have been taught to wash our hairs every single day (which is understandable for people living in Asian countries because it gets very humid and gross). But in dry climates in the States, washing hair everyday made mine brittle, frizzy, and dull. My scalp was very oily too. Now, I know how to properly shampoo, know which products to use, and have been successfully washing my hair every 3 to 4 days without feeling disgusting. The boost of confidence that comes from my healthy hair is also a bonus! Thank you for spreading your professional hair knowledge online!

I'm not Asian but live in Korea and stylists here tell me to wash my hair everyday. I told them "No, I have fine hair, it's not good for me, I have to wait 3 days" but they told me it's wrong and they look at me like I'm disgusting. ^^ I've been doing really bad stuff to my hair and now it's damaged. Trying to repair and take care of it.

I've been growing my hair out for a year now and have some good length, and am obsessed with finding the best products for my hair. I use Moroccanoil moisture repair line (which I note is on your recommended product list!), and have recently come across the Redken ABC line. I recently used the ABC pre-treatment with the moroccanoil shampoo and hair mask. However, today I used all Redken ABC products: the pre-treatment, shampoo, conditioner and then the leave-in. My hair has never felt so good! No frizz, silky smooth, shiny, and light and bouncy. I will probably switch between Redken ABC line and Moroccanoil but I can honestly say the ABC line is great!

It last a whole week and feels clean. Honestly his content saved my hair I was losing lots of hair. Like wads…And now, I barely do. 5-10 strands in the shower at max. And I had terrible Itchy/dandruff looking roots too. So bad… I had that for 4 years. I thought it would go away but it never did. I was even using prescription ketoconazlo but that didn’t even help the itching. The volume shampoo and new hair routine did!

I have always been on the hunt for the perfect routine using products from the drugstore because professional products seemed like a ripoff. I found your channel and finally learned what is actually up with the professional products. I only bought shampoo/conditioner and blowout cream at first, sticking with my drugstore leave in and Amazon jojoba oil. I was so BLOWN AWAY from the results that I sprinted to Ulta to get the rest of the recommended products.
I’ve struggled with my hair in a way I can’t describe. I have wavy/curly hair that doesn’t know how to be curly or straight if that makes sense. I’ve tried following the curly girl method for the last 3 years and have had more bad days than good.
This has changed my outlook on my hair and my confidence in my appearance. Thank you so much!

My hair has never ever looked better than now, since I discovered your videos and started using your methods. I do, however, use cheaper products but it still works. I give my hair at least 5 days between washes and even though I always blow dry it with Revlon brush, I have NO SPLIT ENDS :O my last haircut was in December of last year! Thank you so so much, I've been struggling with my hair for years and now I finally get to have the hair of my dreams. I'm now on a long hair journey. Waist lenght is my desired lenght which I already had years ago, but my hair was so unhealthy so it looked awful 😂

That was some excellent product research. The spectrum of colourful Redken bottles seem so enticing 😮 the marketing always makes things so confusing for consumers. Glad to be happily sticking to the pastel pink bottle and less wash days, thank you 😊

I bought the Redken because I trusted your opinion and it was one of the best decisions I made. :D I use the Volumen injection shampoo for my fine, long hair which was always flat and static. I bought tons of products before with no luck. Now I only use this shampoo and nothing else and my hair has volume which lasts for days and all the people around me noticed and and I received lots of compliments. It is a miracle!! I will never buy anything else ever again. :D Thank you so so so much!

ITS AMAZING. HOLY ****!!!! My hair is SO SHINY AND SOFT. It even has volume now!l after air drying. It feels healthier and my hair is SO lightweight after it dries. I cannot say enough amazing things about this shampoo. BUY IT. I’m never going back.

My hair is fine and thin but extremely color damaged and dry so the frizz dismiss shampoo is the best for me and makes a huge difference! Thanks for the breakdown of the Redken shampoos! All Soft works excellent for me, and since my hair/scalp doesn't get oily/grimy fast (textured/tight/extremely curly hair) and I can go longer between shampoos, I don't mind using All Soft (Original). Now the All Soft Mega line is too heavy for me.
Also, I am currently testing the Extreme Lengths line, and so far, I like it. Although it's not as moisturizing as the All Soft, I still like it; I find EL to be balancing.
    Take care!!

I’ve been using Extreme shampoo & conditioner for about a month & it has changed my long, damaged hair drastically. I first started with the conditioner & noticed a huge improvement, then added in the shampoo & it’s even better. I do a double shampoo & use the Pureology Leave In as you’ve recommended. What a difference!

I'm using extreme lengths shampoo.. don't know if I chose the right one .. and extreme mask. (eha).. I use to have course dry hair.. but I put oil in and conditioners.. The extreme absolutly cleans my hair . Very well.. I need to know what conditions you recommend.
The Extreme Mask isn't enough moisture. My hair is long and I pull it back.. and now with summer coming, especially need to avoid Frizz.. what can I use. Tried All soft when it first came out. Made my hair fly away.. best to my recollection..
I was using redkin products before for you guys were born, and did well on them . But its a different life. What do you recommend..
I tried the olaplex system. It was awful.. not enough moisture . Although the Olaplex 6 was good. They sent me a sample.. I won't buy it since there m still stuck with 3 bottles of Olaplex . Store wouldn't take it back.. waited to long. So they said.. anyway, what do you recommend .SomethingThat won't break the bank.. I pull my hair back in a bun when I'm in public .

I have to wash my hair everyday but recently I tried the cleansing cream and this was the answer: I needed a more powerful cleaner. I have avoided sulfates because they irritate my scalp.
