That St Augustine may be a"baby" but due to FL weather, it ages more in less time. Very Good
Glad we grabbed it!
I spend a lot of time in Naples and whiskey hunting is tough down there. That Bonita Liquors has some awful pricing, but cool to see some rare bottles!
So much truth!!! It was tough to find anything good!
Love starlight cigar cut
It was a tasty one!
Not even going to look at the JD SBBP Rye? That’s an instant buy for me.
We just got some back in MN!
I found the Ammunition Bourbon selling online for $23.99. That store had it for $46.99. Wow @Ripoff. Someone just gave me a bottle.
Glad we didn’t buy it there!
You will find almost all of the small places down there are owned by the same folks statewide. Florida native here the Patels own 90% of the non chain liquor stores
Oh dang that’s crazy! So it’s almost like a non-chain chain.
Holy SA Red Corn!!! Buy it up when you see it...tough to come by.
Read corn for the win???
9:45 That lineup of Benchmark.. I swear Buffalo Trace is missing the mark by not getting that stuff into more states. Those bottles are some of the best bang for buck in whiskey. I suspect they could eat a massive amount of the market share from bottom shelf brands very quickly by getting more distribution on that brand. Benchmark 8 tastes like dog slobber compared to Benchmark BIB.
We can’t even get Benchmark up in MN. Such a good baseline selection.
Fun! Was just down there snagged some EHT @ the Publix and as much Havana Club as I could fit in my suitcase 😂
That’s so awesome!!!
I like blue note , I’ve had the uncut and crossroads, I didn’t care for the crossroads the first pour but I tried it again a few days ago and it is decent maybe just needed to breath a little
Yeah, I’ve had that same experience with several bottles. I’ve also had the opposite happen after they’ve opened up they taste worse.
Jack Barrel proof rye is amazing. I’ll buy it every single time I find it. Usually $60-70 here in WI.
It’s incredible! I have a few bottles!
So, funny....My son and I made almost the exact same trip this past saturday.....We live in Naples and it is rough.
Such a tough spot to find anything crazy!
Love Starlight Cigar Blend. Almost every allocated I've seen in Florida had silly prices. I hope you didn't get taken to the cleaner on the EHT BP!
Luckily we were able to talk him down 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Nice! They are around $350 local. Hopefully you were able to talk him down below that! @@RareBarrel
WM has a cage for the expensive stuff. Did Naples, not have one?
I don’t think they did, they had most of it behind the shelf
Next town North I found a EH Taylor BP for 150 this shopping center had a Cigar shop that had Pappy cigars
Sick! Wish I would have found that spot
@6:38 I don't know anything about Responder, but as a retired first-responder, "10-8" in my agency meant "On-Duty" or "Available for calls."
The various ten-codes for different agencies nationwide can have different meanings.
That’s cool!!! Thanks so much for sharing that and thank you for what you did as a first responder!!!
STARLIGHT VDN... BANK IT 💯
Is that the play???
10-8 is the 10 code for In Service
That’s legit! Have you ever tried it?
@@RareBarrel no. I haven’t seen it here in NC
You should have visited Fiddlesticks Liquor
Dang it! I’ll have to hit it next time!
dont sleep on the red corn from still austin
Good stuff? We’ll have to give it a try asap!
It's really good and hard to find and I'm only a hour from the distillery. Definitely a great one for the shelf also thier cask strength is great also
13:16 ... WTF that Ancient Ancient Age 10stars half gallon sitting there for $27. I haven't not seen an Ancient Ancient Age 10 across 10 states of hunting and HUNDREDS of stores. It might not be the best stuff but it's something I've tried to find for over a year.
Brewzle just did his hunt in Athens, GA, and now you doing this hunt in FL makes me want to jump in my car and make the 15 hour road trip down to FL and do some hunting along the way the next time I refill my bourbon budget. Like most bourbon hunters my budget is like the rules of Whose Line Is it Anyway... the rules are made up and the dollars don't matter... but I do still feel obligated to pace myself. Those solo road trips are a great way to kill the weekend and get through a backlog of podcasts and audio books. Do I NEED anything, no. Do I want to buy more stuff I don't need. Yes.
That sounds like an awesome idea!!! Bourbon Hunting Road Trip!!!!
I'm always surprised when you look at a wall of whiskey that is average size, for a dedicated liquor store, and say "that's quite a bit". I'm always like "that's it?". Maybe I'm spoiled but I'm unimpressed unless a store has at least 65-75% of the bourbon/rye that I see in a Total Wine. We have a ton of massive stores in my area so maybe I'm spoiled.
I need to visit wherever you are!!!
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM 😂😂😂😂 SMH
🙂
Coopers Craft is disgusting 🤢
Glad I didn’t grab that.
CC100 is a 6 year Brown Foreman product. Inside of barrel is grooved then charred. It’s an excellent product and one of the best under 30s.
Naples is a poor hunt town…believe me. A lot of stuff never makes the shelves or you need a tipoff. If you want standard stuff, you’ll find it all day.
I tried to watch, but your camera work gave me motion sickness.....
Sorry
