The stores were intreresting. I would like it if you framed the bottles and the prices of at least the ones you like. Most of the time it seemed you were too far away from the shelves to see the prices.
These are the exact same three stores I hit when I go to Dallas. All in the same area right off of 75 near Greenville Ave. We also hit Central Market near there too.
I didn’t notice any Old Forrester King Ranch in any portion of your video. Can only get it in Texas. Thought you might have seen a bottle. I hear it is difficult to source. I have had it and it is very good.
Enjoy your videos but wish you would slow down and show bottle and prices , please. At the first store those 2 Middle West bottles in the tubes next to the Widow Janes are from their cask finish series and are very good. Wheel Horse is a good WT101 alternative but where they shine are there limited releases like their cigar blend and toasted both which are $29.99 most places and a bit high at $42. Total Wine is becoming a total rip off. Been a Grand Reserve member for years. TW went from an awesome store to a watch your back place. See so many employees lead newbies and those wanting to buy a nice gift for a special occasion for someone led to TW own high profit mediocre to drain pour. Not to mention the higher than msrp Pricing they now do. I travel a lot and have hundreds of bourbons but also a lot of Irish (over 150). The price at my local TW is 3 times less than at some other TW for some bottles. Ridiculous
@@RareBarrel there’s a couple places I could tell you about. Are you from the DFW area? Problem with specs and total wine is that when they do get good hard to find stuff it just goes so fast.
Casually walking by Knob Creek 12 is craaazy
I already have one, I have to let others enjoy it!

I could give that a try
Got a new riff single barrel last week it’s great.
That’s awesome!

Yep!! That’s where they’re at!
the Still Austin Red Corn is what yall should try. Or any of the cask strengths
Yeah we need to crack out Still Austin Cask Stregth for sure
The Still Austin cask strength is my current favorite bottle
at the beginning of the video what SPECS location were you at?
I can’t remember but it’s north east of Downtown Dallas.
this looks like the flagship Spec's store of the Dallas area, off of Walnut Hill and US75

We have some videos with the old King Ranch in it. We have several Texas hunting videos.
@@RareBarrel Sure, my point was that you didn’t see it there and I was surprised. However, it speaks to how difficult it is to source.
That blue note juke joint looked like a uncut unfiltered. Couldn’t tell.
Dang it
And it was a store pick .
Can share which specs this was in Dallas?
I think it was one just north of downtown Dallas.
$79.99 for Russell’s single barrel! I guess I’m pretty lucky, I can get it for $50. One of the other stores had Belle Meade on the shelf.
Belle Meade is a win, we have a few bottles of that stored up.
Any purchases?
Yeah, you should check out the haul video!
Hyvee has a store pick coming from Paul Sutton
For real?!?!?
@@RareBarrel yep! Tried a sample the other day.
Those distiller collection Ezra and rebel are harder to get now days
Right, we have a store in town that just got a rebel and is getting an Ezra soon!
Those Texas 1845 were some of the best on that shelf!!!
Might have to give those a try!
You missed the old soul tin type in the goody goody store as soon as you walked in.
🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
