Still Austin is by far the best TX bourbon. The BiB limited releases for fall, winter, spring, and summer are sooo freaking good. Got a store pick SA cask strength and loved it until I got to the end of the bottle...now I can't hardly finish it. Strange.

Came here to say this!!!!! I think everyone would LOVE 13th Colony, but they are clearly hiding something. So for that, I’ll pass.

I recognize the craft bar and a GTS pour. Craft bar usually has some good pours
Crittendens is amazing for the money. I’ve had their bottles in bond and now I have their double oak.
Penelope 9 yr Private Select- best they ever made so far
Cost Plus has some decent options ... but their pricing is exorbitant. NEX is where I found Elijah Toasted Rye, KC12, McKenna 10 all at MSRP.
Buffalo Trace and Eagle Rare 10 are so common in the UK. It’s odd that you guys struggle to get these. We get nothing else though! 😂
That perdido short barrel is fantastic. I got one with their 13th colony cs rye pick.
I’ve gotten eht bp, vwfrr, etl, wlw, and a couple others from the abc vault in the last 12 months.

Blinded that Nulu DO pick from Perdido Liquors with 13th Colony DO and it was hard to tell much of a difference between the 2. I’d say it’s well worth the price they have it at

I feel like the guy with the Texas Rangers shirt forces himself to love Texas Whiskey, granted he hated the Still Austin pick, but he hypes Texas products when they're mediocre juices(if not harsh) at unreasonable prices.

Good find on the Four Roses Single Barrel. I just picked up an OESF 11 Years 125.6 Proof, but it was $110. I have been fortunate to buy 3 bottles of RR 15 so far and all 3 less than $300 each. 🥃

Got an OBSQ 11 year 3 month store pick recently that is phenomenal. Tier 5, so sitting at 62%. Unfortunately it was $120, considering a backup for it though. Truly love it.

I have that exact same store pick, and it has kept me from buying anything still austin until i found the blue corn. Happy to know its just that bottle and i can try the regular cask's strength.

I just got back from a purse shopping trip for my GF birthday and we passed a liquor store so we stopped in real quick and I got a 1792 full proof store pick for 50, a ECBP 9 year 128 proof for 90 and a 2024 shenks for 100! Such a great little stop! He said if I like weller come in next week! The store is a little over an hour from my place but I may have to take the drive and see what's up cuz they had great prices
If the prices are good and the shop is honest an hour is nothing!

There was a place in Corpus Christi that was selling Blantons bundled with that NASCAR Bourbon. It was like $150 I believe. Couldn’t pull myself to buy it because I could literally find zero info on that NASCAR Bourbon. Not even a single review online or any info from the distiller.

Old fourth didn’t come out of Short Barrel. Old Fourth was the first distillery in Atlanta. Short Barrel bought out Old Fourth Distillery

@@ckat34if you live by rifle Colorado check out choice liquors they have George T Stagg 2023 for 160 dollars 💵 and e.h Taylor single barrel for 90 and Stagg Jr for 75. I live in Illinois and happen to find their website 🥃

Bourbon does not have a minimum age. If the label says, “straight,” that indicates that the whiskey is at least two years old, but if it says “straight,” it must have an age statement unless the whiskey is four years old or older.

My best guess is the NASCAR bourbon whiskey you picked up is MGP distillate bottled less than two years old.

Only bottle I’ve ever poured down the drain was Clyde Mays Alabama Style. Never bought any more of their products after that. It was undrinkable.

nothing wrong with paying a lot of money for allocated bourbon. I have a problem with paying a lot of money for non-allocated bourbon. the bourbon is allocated because it's good!
[I lucked into a Weller Antique 107 drop at a Giant Eagle grocery store last week in Warren, OH. Case of green $28 each. Red was $62, got 6. Weird rules. One bottle at a time and cant use the same card twice in a row.

I went to a local Kroger event in KY yesterday and walked out with a WFP, EHT SmB, ECBP B524, and 375 ml Blantons for $240 after tax. There were over 300 Weller 12s available too.

I have both the Penelope toasted rye and bourbon. Funny thing, the rye says bourbon on the glass but the bourbon only says Penelope on the glass.

Went to two of the Richey's East yesterday and they were a bust. Nothing special on the shelfs and I've seen better pricing. Cost Plus was worth the drive and had some decent pricing.

Not insanely hard to find in Houston, but impossible to find at that price. I bought one for $500ish 2 or 3 years ago. One of the best whiskeys I've ever had. Like drinking liquid gushers... Incredibly fruit forward. Now total wines near me have them for $1,150

Probably a Blanton’s because its a single Barrel and EH Taylor can sometimes drink a little hot. I believe MSRP on Blantons and EH Taylor are close enough that I would rather have Blanton’s. even though Taylor is 100 proof
@Bourbon_Hunter gotcha. Luckily, I got both. The store only allows 1 bottle per person. I sent my wife right after me for the Blantons. I got the Taylor first bc I've never tried or bought a Taylor, but I tried blantons at a friend's house.
You should've got the Blue Bolt 248 fromCrittenden's. I have a double oaked and it is soooooo good! 🥃
