If I was an artist who died, this is how I'd hope I was remembered. Not by a name, but a legacy. And that's what these men did. I watched a STP concert after Scott died, and it was a fantastic concert. I felt like they respected him and what he gave to this world.

STP was tragically underrated. Core and purple are both masterpieces. Everything is great music, lyrics. And I can honestly say they were the tightest band I have ever seen live.

When I found out about Scott's death the first thing I did was listen Atlanta, I want to remember him like this, at his best, I felt such great pain that I felt like a brother had died, thank you Scott for your beautiful music and your magical voice, you will live forever through your art, may your demons never find you again, I know your struggle because it is also mine, opiate addiction for the addict means the destruction of all that is good and beautiful in the world, consume and disintegrate your soul, scott rest in peace brother and we will see each other in the afterlife.

Damn. This was my favorite track when I bought the album because of sour girl. Listened to this tens of thousands of times. Never did it move me like it did watching this. The whistle killed me and I don’t know why. It’s like I listened to it for the first time as a different human being. I could keep going. I’ll just shut up and replay 50 more times or until I run out of beer.

I saw stp once and it was during their No.4 tour. I got a chance to shake Scott's hand while he was singing live. Still to this day, it was the best live concert I've ever seen. And I've seen Pantera twice, slayer, static x, Lynard Skynard etc.

I’ll never forget first listening to Core. It was like my first kiss with that 90’s rock sound. I was in love with all of their work. I knew I’m my heart that one day I would hear of his passing, although I had hopes I would be wrong. This was a nice touch by the band. These 4 guys were so great together. I feel for all the heartache they have suffered along with Scott’s family. He broke so many hearts with his addiction.

Vaya!

any Scott Weiland fan can tell me if he recorded this song on a CD? Or there was no time. I live in Brazil and I have little information about his career. There was a time when he was successful here, but then he didn't know anything else. Did he die because he wanted to? Or was it an overdose, what made him so sad? He was so talented👏 Didn't his friends and family notice that he was so sick with his soul? Very sad 😔I didn’t know he died, I spent years without reading anything about him and unintentionally looking at social media I saw his tragic ending, I was heartbroken. These depressive people have to be hospitalized, if no one takes action they commit folly against their own integrity, someone should have done something for him.

The big 4 of the 90s was:
    Nirvana
    Alice In Chains
    Pearl Jam
    SoundGarden
Now take each band and add up all their own radio hits/fan favorite deep tracks and you’ll see SoundGarden had the least amount.
The Big 4 shouldn’t have had SoundGarden in it.
STP or Smashing Pumpkins should have been part of the whole “Big 4” in my opinion.
If I’m gonna be honest I think I’m the only person alive that never liked SoundGarden. Cornell has a beautiful voice but their songs just didn’t do nothing for me.

Wonder who Scott got along with best in the band? He was friends with Rob first. And he helped write songs with Scott. But Eric seems like the most laid back. And when Scott in the beginning would wear a dress and lipstick to upset the macho jock metal heads at their early shows he would kiss Eric. You gotta be pretty comfortable with another dude if neither one of yall is gay to kiss lol. He did do dope and crack with Dean. He also swung on Dean and the manager stopped it an inch from Deans face
