scotts voice sounds so powerful & amazing singing "break on thru" w/the doors - it's an awesome thing to see ray manzareks smiling approval while scott is yelling "she get... she get... she get high," along w/ the rest; it really sucks they're now both gone - 2 very talented & unique individuals

Saw Scott and STP back in Florida when they opened up for Butt hole Surfers. it was somewhere late 80's early 90's could have been 90. But my friend had a nac for new music and ask me to come. Now...my friend is gone due to suicide and now Scott too. I have not moved on with music so I keep listening to All Scott's music and thats good enough for me anyway. keeps them alive in my heart and mind. God Bless my friends
Scott Weiland is one of the most underrated frontmen ever. Amazing voice with range, great stage presence and moves, loads of swagger...One of my favorite live shows and I've been to well over 100 shows
This made me cry. I still say to this day when people ask me my favorite band , “STP”. Loved Scott Weiland and was fully aware at the time that any given day we could loose him. Then the day happened & I was devastated. Not fully understanding addiction at the time. Fast forward to 2022 and I lost my bf and best friend to addiction. So I understand it a bit better now having lived it for 7 years. Really sucks is an understatement. Thank you Scott & STP for the music and great memories. I wore out the Core album in my youth
I loved their music. I cried when Scott died. A part of my past died with him and now I visit it through the music of STP and the memories it stirs like some strange brew. Rest well, be free.
Some people give so much of themselves while expressing through their art that they have nothing left to sustain their own being. Thank you Scott! I wish you were here, but then again, you gave us all these recordings to have you forever!
Missing 2 great covers here, dancing days (led zeppelin) and andy Warhol (david bowie) nobody has ever had an influence on me like Scott weiland, truly the last of one of the greats
Thank you for this, it was beautiful and so touching. Scott was a musical genius and I had the honor of seeing him twice with STP, and Velvet Revolver, and once just with himself. He may have lost his fight, but what he gave all of us will always live on.
My favorite is the acoustic version of Plush. He's the type of singer that doesn't need anything, the more stripped down the better. I never saw him live, and I regret that. R.I.P. Never forgotten, never duplicated.
JESUS GODDDD!!!!!!!!!! I basically cried the entire 20 minutes. Thank you SO MUCH for this. This was absolutely amazing and sums up my love for him in one video. His voice was so beautiful...
The Interstate Love Song video is the best live version I've ever heard as well. I love that you cared enough to do this. Weiland made such an indelible mark on so many people's lives. Thank you so much.
Yea i hears that version like in 2006 or so and became my favorite song. Like i loved the original when it first came out in 94 as a kid. But hearing this version and his voice and all i thought it was so good. My friend who played it for me was like " Bruh, wanna get yo girl to fuck play her this song.' I'm like its not about that this is a really good version of this song. Its basically all Scott's voice with no studio trickery. Then years later played it for my sons mom... Lol.. My son's mother...(It worked)
I loved Scott so much.. it almost feels like rock died with them Scott, Kurt and Layne ! Not to mention Chris and Eddie. Never would have thought I would have to reach backwards to fill a hole. But I do ...all the time. Thank God they are forever etched!!! Oxoxox Scott I miss you soo
One of the best vocalists of my time...I wish he would get the credit he deserves. Addiction is a sickness, I am certain he didnt want it...just couldn't overcome it.
Oohhh my goodness the photo of all our beautiful and talented souls we lost RIP all of you beautiful men! Scott was excellent singer so freaking sad to lose him. Thank you for sharing, it was lovely. 😔
Never saw him with STP but caught him on both VR album tours. Both times in smaller venues too, awesome vocal and stage presence! Definitely miss his music…
This is great. Love all of these performances.....The last fight twisted my guts! Still grieving a man I never met. I saw him in May 2015 and I knew if light was dimming. I think we all did........he will never be forgotten.
Atlanta 6:00 Nothing more painful to a heroin addict then being without it. Pure art in that voice. -- I’m Heroin free since 2011. Hurts either side of it. Just one side your loved ones seem to be happier.
You just put words to something I've been feeling for years. Some people recover and build these amazing, fulfilling lives, and some people recover and don't go on to do anything amazing. They just miss it for the rest of their lives. When I used it was not to get "high" but rather to feel productive and engaged and have the energy to enjoy life...to overcome a lifetime of depression. Now I'm sober and completely isolated. No drive, no ambition. I feel more like a misfit now than I did in the throes of my addiction. It's so nice to know that I'm not the only one to feel that being clean can be as painful and debilitating as using.
The one thing I really don't miss about being strung out on heroin for 8 years is waking up sick and needing to score and you wait forever for your dealer to pick up the phone or waiting for them to show up. I have a much more productive life, I'm a counselor for drugs and alcohol. Happiness lives within you somewhere.
@@jamesbone105 I was always scared to death that my dealer wouldn't show, or back out at the last minute. Totally at someone else's mercy, and they *knew* it...so they took their good old time. I'm glad to hear you're clean and living a productive life. I know I'll get there someday! Stay safe and sober!!
I have of recent fell off. I have intention to stop again. It’s just better that way. Like how leslie wolfe put it, scared of running out and at someone else’s mercy. We give up a lot of our personal power for the comfort of now. Just to be able to feel like what we think normal is. To fully exhale .
I LOVE. Scott!! Just a lost soul who needed a lot of help. I see this sad, lost soul in at 16:50. Now you are singing in heaven with no sadness, stresses or addictions.
I saw STP in 2000 at the Bronco Bowl Dallas Tx. great show, great place to see bands. STP rocked to a sold out crowed. Scott was sober and from the moment they took the stage everyone in the place was on their feet until the final encore!!!. The band was in top form that night and it was Erik's(the drummers) B-Day the Guys from Pantera had some strippers from their club give Erik some whips for the momentous occasion. One hell of a great show!!! When I saw Scotts last performance(on UA-cam) before his death, it wasn't the same Scott I saw years before. IMO psych drugs fucked him up. R.I.P. to all those Generation X souls that made all that great music that will live forever in our hearts.
I love what you wrote after "The last Fight" ....at the end, that was Powerful! He is deeply missed all over the world..... but at least now he has peace and he never has to "fight" all the 'demons' in this world

Es increíble la voz de este ser humano. Para mi uno de los mejores cantantes de este género. Gracias por tantas canciones que acompañaron muchos momentos en mi vida. Lamento profundamente la pérdida de gran cantante. Mis respetos. Gracias
Very nice! It's really nice to see all the love for Scott. I was lucky enough to see him live 15 times and he was great every time. One of the greatest frontmen in the history of rock n' roll in my book. Never got complete recognition because of his personal problems imo. R.I.P. Scott
Hearing the song I wish you were here. It’s so sad cause we all wish Scott was still here with us. Love you and your music Scott and I will always have your back when people try to spread BS about you rest in peace, my friend
great video montage to one of the best front men of all time.he had such a fantastic voice whether with VR or STP. He's a true rock n roll legend and the last song you had here was extremely emotional to listen too. RIP Scott and hope you are still rocking where ever you are . Thanks for taking the time to put this brief look at Scotts fantastic career.
My heart sinks and truly aches seeing him in that first clip. We all know you finally found peace. We all just wish you could've found it while you were still here. Rip
I mourn him and my younger years growing up loving him. He gave me some really special memories and this video hits my heart hard, RIP SCOTT WEILAND ❤️
good choices. I like that you included several of the acoustic performances. those are scott at his best. too sad that he lost his last fight, but we have all of this awesome music.
Thank you, this was mesmerizing, beautiful and haunting. He would of loved your compilation of these remarkable pieces of art. He was one of a kind and looking back to see how he morphed into so many voices, themes and transitions, I’m sure he is looking down, smiling. RIP Scott.
What an incredible talent , just amazing. The collage of Scott and other talented musicians that gambled with drugs and lost was sobering to say the least.
🙋🏾♀️ Minas Som...💁🏾♀️ It’s ironic that Weiland can do Rose but Rose can’t touch Weiland as evidenced by this ua-cam.com/video/gwC3CT7LTA4/v-deo.html ✌🏾!
Yes, it was about Scott's awesomeness and all of the kind and loving words that described Scott in this video When I heard Scott singing, "The Last Fight" I got goose bumps. it seemed to give me some kind of an errie feeling. RIP Scott Weiland...
Even the remaining Doors members were smiling like "This guy something special, kind of reminds us of this singer we once knew"

Scott had everything .I wish he had quit the band scene and enjoyed his family . Scott could have been a solo singer . Very sad 😞
Wish you were here Scott.

Rip
I prefer his concert performances but that MTV Unplugged is legendary
Holy crap that was fantastic! Thank you!
Thank you whoever made this.
Perfect tribute… really shows what an amazing vocalist he was… nicely done... thank you Mau T!
I mourn him and my younger years growing up loving him. He gave me some really special memories and this video hits my heart hard, RIP SCOTT WEILAND ❤️
Can’t believe it’ll be 5 years this December since he left us 😭
good choices. I like that you included several of the acoustic performances. those are scott at his best. too sad that he lost his last fight, but we have all of this awesome music.
I will miss his musical talent a lot. Mr Rock and Roll!
One of the greatest from my times!
R.I.P Scott, a year has gone and we still hurt for you.
Thank you, this was mesmerizing, beautiful and haunting. He would of loved your compilation of these remarkable pieces of art. He was one of a kind and looking back to see how he morphed into so many voices, themes and transitions, I’m sure he is looking down, smiling. RIP Scott.
Amazing tribute! I'm still so sad about his passing :'(
Oh Thanks you who put this together gave me goose bumps
thank you!
What a natural talent . Sad to see drugs destroy him
What an incredible talent , just amazing. The collage of Scott and other talented musicians that gambled with drugs and lost was sobering to say the least.
Great choices such a powerful and very dynamic vocalist Thanks
8:54 - 9:11 gives me goosebumps every time. Damn, Scott. I miss you, man
+Sadland Machines thank you
Agreed! That part in Creep always gets me. I don't even like the song really, but the Unplugged rendition is fantastic.

Wow! His "Paticience" version might be THE best one ever recorded! And I'm a big Axl (80's-90's fan)
I agree and I agree with axl pre 92 was my favorite of all time
🙋🏾♀️ Minas Som...💁🏾♀️ It’s ironic that Weiland can do Rose but Rose can’t touch Weiland as evidenced by this ua-cam.com/video/gwC3CT7LTA4/v-deo.html ✌🏾!
Beautiful video. I loved every second of it. RIP Scott ✊
Scott was effing amazing. Damn, I miss that dude's impact on the music scene.

omg....this is by far my favorite tribute video. ....thanks so much
Great Tribute! Your #1 pick was great! It really focused on his vocals. Respect.
Yes, it was about Scott's awesomeness and all of the kind and loving words that described Scott in this video When I heard Scott singing, "The Last Fight" I got goose bumps. it seemed to give me some kind of an errie feeling. RIP Scott Weiland...
Scott wrote Last Fight about his brother, Michael, who died of an overdose in 2007
Chris Mathison I remember when mentioned his brother's passing. That's very sad.
