So much pain = so much beauty. It’s unfortunate that tortured souls can create beauty for us to enjoy. To anybody reading this and is going through a rough time just remember. Life’s f’n cruel, stop surviving and just live. You dont have to make anybody happy but yourself. Never be ashamed to ask for help.

I was saying to my son just day before yesterday that every day for about 1 or 2 weeks straight I would get in my car and turn to my favourite station ,Lithium, and I was hearing this song within 5 minutes!!!! Now here I am again. So if Scott Weiland has been about celebrating his up and coming birthday,,,,, 🎶Happy birthday to you Scott!🎶 Another sad story of someone taken way to young. He will have been 56 this coming October 27th. Such a loss. He was so talented from beginning to the tragic end. He changed his vocal sounds from the classic deep "yarl" to a higher more gritty sound with Velvet Revolver and then a deep smooth "Bowie-ish tone. I loved each and everyone of his styles. Rest Easy Scott. You will never be forgotten.

@@KBizzyWeiland and Staley are my favorites. No one touches Layne’s range period but Scott musically was a chameleon thus his catalog was much more broad. Layne was a statue on stage but his voice commanded your attention. Scott’s stage presence was second to none when he was at his best. They’re both great in their own way and I can jump back and forth to each depending on the mood.
Layne is different in that his downfall was more private so we didn’t see him at his worst. Scott unfortunately became the rock cliche in front of our eyes. Both are tragic.
Sorry for the novel response lol. Like you, it’s just my opinion. Both deserve more recognition than they get. Both have bands that belong in the HOF.

I think the pain in his face is because he knows it’s off key and it’s not good. He was a true melodic genius. He knows, and he was so desperately trying to recapture that feeling in his soul he used to have, but it was gone and never to return. It’s heartbreaking. By the time you’re in you mid 40’s it’s hard enough for most men. Time really catches up to you. For Scott that was too many years of poison in his veins. Still the greatest of all time in my opinion. With the the 3 best and most underrated musicians of all time behind him. The wonderful thing is his legacy and art he left behind will live forever.

Scott looks pretty well, is so sad that his addiction kill him, handsome, creative, great voice, n all of this goes to trash just because of an addiction damn

It didnt go to the trash. He's inspired millions, and that's priceless.

I was friends with Scott post his high school days. Good times. We survived an attempted (prank?) carjack in my little blue 1972 Volkswagen Beetle at a gas station leaving a club in downtown LA in 1990. This guy pulled up in a pickup truck full of drunk crips in the back. They were out for a good time. The guy who was trying to drive off in my car couldn’t move my seat back (I was paying for gas; Scott was high AF in the back seat) and I yelled at him to get out of my car. He laughed and went back to the pickup truck. We were leaving an underground rave, Dr Seuss on the Loose, on our way to see Scott’s girlfriend Maryanne Healey (see: Big Drill Car) dance at a club, Fountain and Normandie I think? This is so hard for me to watch. His teeth are fake. I don’t recognize him here. I just can’t. “just drive, Mo” said Scott

Of course, Scott by this time hadn't the same voice he used to have by the time this song was released. However, he did gave a very nice performance. If you compare this with the one from 2015, you can defnitely see his decline. So sad. Rip Scott Weiland

Man he looks like he is hurting so bad inside, it’s sad. People that feel to much, it’s always a shame when the feelings become to hard to overcome and finally beat you. Addiction sucks dick and being a good person who got fucked around. Is enough for someone with these feelings to do nothing but hurt themselves. Seeing good people in pain is a terrible thing.
