I’ve thought about reading The Scarlet Pimpernel again but at the same time I continue to hang onto the memories of the first time I experienced it. My school teacher at the time read it to my class in the 15 minutes or so that were allotted to story time right after noon recess. There was something magical about sitting amongst my classmates listening to her read. I’m not sure if reading it again would do justice to those memories of my childhood.

Usually he's awake (because napping outside my arms is... difficult), but i just put him in his little chair where he can see me if no one else is home to take him. I really want to read Ilyon Chronicles and that Victoria Lynn series! Scarlet Pimpernel!!! It's so good!!!!
Yeah filming now while she’s awake might actually work since she’s still pretty small and quiet. Which probably won’t last long. She’s starting to find her voice 😆
oh my goodness girl yes! I became a mom in March and I thought the same thing- that I wouldn't be able to read much, but I was shocked how much I was able to read on my kindle! Sooo much easier to swipe than hold a physical book! 😂 And its so nice to find someone who knows exactly what I'm going through 🙂
I like that there is someone else who does not like using the new age term “vibes” the universe does not give us pings we have feelings in situations but that’s on the inside not something sending us waves…glad you said that! Congrats on your new baby girl ❤
Yes … I know that technically people use it in a different way and most probably don’t even believe the new age ideologies … it’s just the word we use to try to explain the mood, aesthetic, feeling something gives us or what something reminds us of. I just want to find a different word to use, expand my vocabulary a bit. 😆
Congratulations! Great reading so far this year. I found the Kindle to be a lifesaver when my babies were little. No pun intended, but my love of reading was rekindled during that time. I also loved The Midnight Dance!

I read a Francena Arnold book recently and loved it. Her writing is very faith filled. She was an older writer. I ordered more of hers. Great video! 👏🏻I am reading Sophie’s Heart by Lori Wick.

There was so much more I wanted to say about the Sadie stories that my brain left out : think fun Colorado mountain town adventures, cozy fall weather and coffee shops, learning new skills and making new friends … just an excellent setting, great character development, etc 😆
REALLY liked this list. Found you via @morgansendlessbookshelf Same feelings about Edith & Henry - same for me - the very first scene, to me, was unrealistic and crazy with the epi-pen and everything else. Wasn't into it. Looking forward to more of your videos!

I liked Riven by Jerry B. Jenkins. A favorite was Though None Go with me by Jerry B Jenkins. But so was Then Am I Strong by Francena Arnold. 😊
