Definitely my fave Rocky with great soundtrack and 80s cheese! I heard Dolph was standing on a box for the Apollo fight touch gloves scene! The part about Paulie and the robot is funny 👍

Went to watch it in the cinema with my Dad when it came out, people were cheering and shouting "Rocky, Rocky" Great memories , stuck with me from 35 years ago 😬
It's interesting because Carl Weathers and Dolph Lundgren have been together a lot in recent years taking photos and doing interviews together. In fact they were in a Gold's Gym and they both looked to be in great shape. Good to see that there wasn't any lingering anger or resentment.
The insurance company didn't believe that Sly got his injuries. They kept insisting that he was hit by a car. Then they showed the footage of him getting hit. Man can hit you hard enough, it looks like a car hit you.
This movie is a cinematic masterpiece and I'll hear no blasphemy about it. It delivers the Cold War schtick awesomely. I saw it in the theater when I was 12. When I walked out, I had an American flag draped over my shoulders and a bald eagle perched on my shoulder.

Rocky IV is one of my all-time favourite movies to the point where I took up Boxing in a few years later I still listen to the training montage whenever I’m training but when I was Boxing the training montage used to come on at my old gym and you could hear people punching faster and harder every time
Great video, I just wished Rocky had worn white gloves to fight against Drago, it would have been a nice refreshing change because he wore red gloves in all three of the previous Rocky movies and the white gloves just looked a lot better with his American flag trunks. It’s funny because Rocky actually wore white gloves in one of the trailers for Rocky 4 and it looked awesome! I just think it looks a lot better when boxing opponents have different color gloves.
I saw this in the theater when it came out. It was like no movie I had ever seen. The audience in the theater was cheering during the fight- like we were watching a real fight, and after it was over everyone stoof up and applauded. I had not seen anything like that since then- till i took my son to see Rocky Balboa. There is some kind of magic in those films.

@@marcozeni6243 The fact that the scenes are pointless is the point.
@@chadalcock7275 I understand but they are so harmless and forgettable that pulling them out sounds even pointless. Let's wait and see how the director's cut turns out.
Give us a choice. We can select the version at the beginning.
I love how it was integrated into Termibator 3 here. ua-cam.com/video/nrln8zrAlVI/v-deo.html
I absolutely love the score from this movie along with the training sequences
"Its always messy when court cases get in the way of creativity.". Yeah, just ask Amber Heard and her creative stories about her marriage to Johnny Depp.
Hi Minty, I remember going to see Rocky IV at the cinema with my brother and sister. The theatre was packed and, during the final fight, someone started chanting 'Rocky! Rocky!' Before you knew it everybody was chanting it. Ridiculous but also awesome, it was great to be a part of.
*"I must break you"* love it! :D
"If he dies,he dies"
Easily one of the better Rocky movies in my book. In fact, this movie single-handedly motivated me to start working out. And motivate me it did. Till this day
Directors cut of Rocky 4 coming...can’t wait.
Agreed.
I can't believe the fight scene between Rocky and Drago was deleted in CREED 2 !!!! WTF ?
Excellent work!!!! One of my favorite “guilty pleasures” of all tine!
I'm calling it now, Paulie and the Robot's cyborg child fights Creed.
Catch phrase will be I don’t sweat you
Definitely my fave Rocky with great soundtrack and 80s cheese! I heard Dolph was standing on a box for the Apollo fight touch gloves scene! The part about Paulie and the robot is funny 👍
Stallone said the Robot would be cut from the Directors Cut release of Rocky IV. I'm upset about that! I almost want to start a petition to keep the robot in the movie.
I love Rocky IV. It was right in my wheelhouse at 6 year's old. Great pick Minty.
Went to watch it in the cinema with my Dad when it came out, people were cheering and shouting "Rocky, Rocky"
Great memories , stuck with me from 35 years ago 😬
I played the HECK outta the SMS version of Rocky. It is a great game with amazing sprites! Still a blast to this day :D
Would love to see a fight between Ivan 'Draygo' and Max 'Shmenling', with 'Burning Heat' blazing in the background 😂
Damn!!!
Out of all the Rocky movies, 4 will always be my favorite.
I was just thinking about you Minty, when I read there was going to be a director's cut - Sly is editing out the robot!
The soundtrack and montage is awesome beyond human understanding... Still my favourite movie soundtrack until today
This movie is a cinematic masterpiece and I'll hear no blasphemy about it.
It delivers the Cold War schtick awesomely. I saw it in the theater when I was 12. When I walked out, I had an American flag draped over my shoulders and a bald eagle perched on my shoulder.
OMG Living In America still gets me going. What a great song. Where has that patriotic spirit gone.
welp, that explains why weathers was never asked to be in any of the Expendables films!!!!
Say what you will, I love the Stallone movies! Rocky, Rambo, Cobra, Cliffhanger,.... you name it, I love it. Thank you, Minty, for another fantastic job!
@james cowboy Yep, even those.. For me, my favorite movies are all about escapism. Crazy characters, chaotic characters... bring them on.
Correction: Burning Heart, not heat
Although.....
🎶In the burning heat. Just about to burst. There’s a quest for answers an unquenchable thirst🎶
Rocky 4 is great. Its still about persevering through insurmountably odds. With lovable characters and feel good vibe all the way thru. So yes, it's a great film.
Stallone was married to Brigitte Nielson at the time. And his other two wives had cameos in Rocky 3 and Rocky 5.
The first training montage music (the synth instrumental) is this films iconic theme.
Stallone is editing out the robot in a new release of Rocky IV ... NOOOOooooooooooooo
Hey Minty! I never cared for boxing. Having said that, watching Rocky movies have never been high on my priority list. But I can appreciate the movies and the work that went into them. Enjoyed your video Minty!
❤️💜💚
It's Burning HEART
Rocky IV is one of my all-time favourite movies to the point where I took up Boxing in a few years later I still listen to the training montage whenever I’m training but when I was Boxing the training montage used to come on at my old gym and you could hear people punching faster and harder every time
“I MUST BRAKE YOU” -IVAN DRAGO
Break.
Mike Adams if you say it out loud ... it makes sense bruhhhh..
Drago's Lada moving too fast?
"I must..."
THAT would've worked, too!
Like "I must stop you!"
I’m 42..
I watched this movie atleast 1000 times…
All my friend’s did as well….
It was iconic…
I use that line "I must break you" - with Russian accent - when I have to hammer something into something else. Only thing I got out of the film.
😂😂😂😂
Dude!!! Me too!!! Hahaha
One of my favourite and rewatchable movies of all time!
It does a great job of showing how overly exaggerated "Americana" was back then.
Of course the critics hated that.
And 15 years later, we paid the price for our arrogance.
Whatever HE hits.... HE DESTROYS!
Rocky 4 was always my favorite Rocky movie with Part III in second place.
Burning Heat? I think you meant Burning Heart by Survivor.
Minty doesn't have it so much with names...
Rocky IV always has been and always will be my favorite in the series!
the new Directors Cut of Rocky 4 is apparently going to remove the robot all together, and its Burning HEART not Heat from Survivor.
