@100th: On the japanese version only in that area you can access the note block that crash the game, but you cannot do so in 7-1 so it might be possible in the Japanese version, however I'm sure it will not be E3, it would be C5, the other code are the same.
Hey so a question, is there anything I can do to manipulate the game's RAM in to being more likely to have additional pipe exit tiles in this garbage data that it's drawing as map data? The reason I ask is such a pipe exit tile does not exist in the SMAS version of SMB3 and I'm trying to find an ACE/credits warp route for SMAS as its truly underappreciated. :( But sadly this and 7-1's pipe glitches just spit me back inbounds. Albeit its a VERY VERY long wrap around for this level's pipe glitch. I literally loop back around to the top lol.
@@MrCheeze The only time save would be an ACE possible within world 1 taking less than 3 minutes to get to and execute. We won't be seeing vast improvements for years.
@@MrCheeze If the wrong warp could be completed in 1-3 by doing the parallel universe glitch without a prior 7-1 setup, I think it could make the difference.

Nice work!
I wonder if there's a way to get to this faster than 7-1 somehow...
It's not the first level, you would have to spend at least 5 mins getting to fortress 2.
@@genblinko589 At least it takes one less warp whistle, but that's still not enough to make up the difference.

@@genblinko589 yea, feels like it would have to at that point. I assume that memory is properly zeroed out on game boot...
