You should do an actual comparison of like watches, like a gen GMT II and a rep VSF or Clean GMT II on a Jubilee and you'll see why just about every watchmaker and buyer has to open the caseback to be able to tell the difference.
Nothing youre saying really sets them apart - older watches can have lighter print and the dials can patina (my 6694 from 1971 has light print and the dial is tropical) the idea that Rolex has perfect QC is an absolute myth, reps are made with 904L steel, the GMT's have ceramic bezels that are red under UV, rep GMT's are actual traveler GMT's, the are +/-0.02 a day, the dimensions are the same, the weight is the same, the rehaut and 2.5× cyclops are accurate, the laser engraved coronet is accurate. Most Rolex super clone reps today are indistinguishable on wrist from gen.

They always have wholesale supplier, whoever fks up just got to fork out the refund at market price, else wholesale price is cheap. while ppl chasing their dream.

My watch says Molex but I think that's just a misprint I still think it's real
