Hatton Garden is a place where I have always been nervous to purchase a Rolex… I’ve been there on many occasions and feel that on SOME of the Rolexes especially the older models and ladies models there seems to be a lot of Frankenstein watches around… I don’t mind that to much but when these watches have been messed about with either a updated dial or strap they still want to charge latest market price compared to a watch that is original… many times I have asked for a certain type of watch and they don’t have it but they say they can change a dial or add or remove diamonds etc within an hour… always get a Rolex with full provenience and is original….

As a dealer ( your not a dealer ) I just wouldn’t know where to start. As a dealer you should have a good few links in Hatton garden. I am not a dealer and have sold more watches than you and can probably get a better bat on most watches than you in Hatton garden

The “Arcade “ is full of bad dealers and watches . I went today and 4 watches ( rolex precisions ) all had moody parts on them . The dealers all look and act like illegal immigrants . It really is a mess . One that the media needs to investigate 😎😎 The only honest watch dealer on the strip is Dominic Hackett

You don't have to make 5k a watch to be a flipper. You're a flipper with a lower margin but a flipper none the less.... I don't think it's a bad thing personally as we all need to make a living and you aren't hurting anyone but at least be transparent.

Im one of those smart guys I met 6 ADs within 50 miles in 2019 after I had studied two Rolex books and sold my self to them now I get about four watches a month Ive give up my job as a bar tender its all legit I pay taxes and made 250000 dollars its easy you just gotta do the leg work
