Thank you so much for sharing the good bad and the ugly. It's important to know that everything doesn't come out. Perfect the first time and occasionally you have to drop back and punt!
This is so helpful! I love how you showed your attempts/fails. It makes me feel better about all of my trials with cricut. It's nice to know I am not the only one who has to run back to the store. I failed miserably when I tried to cut felt. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this detailed tutorial. You were very good in leaving everything in. This is how we all learn.... from our mistakes. You have done us all a favor in showing your steps and what to be aware of. This was so helpful for all of us who want to try this. Thank you for being so willing to share your process with all of us. I remembered something too that I was told never use your cutters for fabric on paper. as paper will surely ruin them. So a dedicated pair is what you need to use. thanks.
Thank you for mentioning to take the backing OFF.. I was so frustrated.. I bought the Freezer paper for the hack I saw but hey never said take off the white paper.. So my felt kept slipping.. You are fabulous.. thank you thank you
As a newbie who gets frustrated trying this, I appreciate your honesty and being vulnerable. Thank you for showing us the compare and contrast (trial and error).
thank you so much, I wanted to reach through the screen and hug you. I just spent the last hour doing everything you did without the "heat and bond" and the fabric blade. Doing a big project for a friends, daughters babyshower and I was SO FRUSTRATED I could chew glass. To see you were having the same difficulties and what you did to over come calmed me down. I am now on the Cricut site ordering the fabric blade. Thank you
I've been looking for a Cricut felt cutting tutorial for some of my projects and this was so helpful! Thanks for posting this! Can't wait to use this method on my own Explore Air 2!
The bonded fabric blade is the exact same blade as the regular blade. It’s just a different color to remind you to only use it for fabric. So you’re u could’ve cut it with your regular blade if you just had a new, sharp blade.
Oh my gosh, thank you so much for this video, I needed to know where my hands went and the display not little photos. You’ve helped me and my hair so much! Best teacher yet!
Goodness, thanks so much for going through all the frustration, basically you Must bond the fabric and must use a newer, sharp blade. Whew!! Appreciate it!!
Thank you. I am getting a Cricut for Christmas and learned a lot watching your video! Thank you and looking forward to more. Such a learning experience with your failures and successes! Thank you so very much.
This helped me so much. I’ve been having problems with my cricut cutting the fabric. I loved that you showed your fails because I was having the same problems. I’m definitely going to try the fabric blade and see if this will help me too.
