For someone who is new to the cricut machines on a whole and trying to decide which one to get, this is the best review yet between the Maker and the Maker 3. Thank you!
I cannot THANK YOU enough for this honest review. I was so confused between the two. As much as I would love the option of longer prints, for if I would need it, just didn't justify the price. I purchased the Cricut maker 1 hour before watching this video. Now SUPER confident about my purchase. Sending very happy hugs. Your love saved me thousands of rands. RSA love back to you!
I've been looking for a review like this, I am so thankful for this. I have a Air 2 and was wanting to upgrade but wasn't sure if I should skip the Maker (which comes with more items out of the box) than the Maker 3, now I know I will go with the Maker (Champaign). Thank you again, so glad I discovered you.
I decided to go with the maker instead of the maker 3 as well. This is my first circut machine I’m happy I decided to chose the maker and not the maker 3
@@DivinevirgoFeminine I didn’t really get a choice per say. The original owner of my Cricut 3 bought it and had no idea what they were getting themselves into, so she decided to sell it after spending so much money. She had an issue returning it cause it was on a different debit card and she could no longer return it. I didn’t even know what a Cricut really was. I did see them at Walmart when they joy had come out but I didn’t put two and two together. She sold it to me at a huge discount at $150 brand new and i was so upset that it didn’t come with many of the NECESSARY items it needs to work out of the box. I hope when they come out with their newer machines in the future they decide to add the bare minimum required tools and accessories to start making crafts right out of the box and not just their smart sheets. Once i got used to it thought I’m glad i got it and I’m certainly glad its the maker3 and not just the maker or explore machines I’m actually using my machine for so many other materials that those other models just can’t do plus i love buying smart vinyl from other brands and I only spend the big bucks on blades and knives that Cricut actually makes better compared to knock off tools. Unless i have to i buy Amazon no name tools and vinyl.

Thank you for sharing your ideas and your talent, you are a true inspiration. ❤️
Just like everyone else, I am impressed with the quality of your honest review, Totally changed my wish list from a Maker3 to a Maker. Hadn't even considered what came included and the Maker has everything I want to start off with. And the extra noise won't matter, cos I will just take out my hearing aids if it gets too much.
Best comparison video I've watched! thankyou! I have a Cricut Expression machine from way back, and am wanting to upgrade. Had my heart set on the Maker 3, but have now decided on just the Maker. I am not a fan at all of companies trying to get you to only use their brand materials etc, and you are right about the contents that come with the new maker 3, a total let down!
Wow thank you for that lovely comment and I'm so glad it was helpful. I hope you love your new Maker and you'll be able to spend the extra savings on materials. ☺
Thanks for your video comparison of these two machines. I found it very useful especially because I just bought the cricut maker from a friend. I don’t like the idea of having to use smart vinyl as I have a bunch of vinyl that I have accumulated. I’m glad I bought the maker.
Hands down the most honest review I have seen on this machine. I’m looking into upgrading my wife’s explore air to the maker 3 and this helps out tremendously. Thank you for help.
Thank you for this honest review. I had a feeling that most miniature makers wouldn’t really benefit from buying the maker 3. Seems silly to only upgrade one feature on a machine before releasing it. I rarely ever cut vinyl.
I am so thankful for a good review between the two. I’m glad that I found your review because I was debating whether to get a maker 3 or maker. I do believe that I will just get a maker. Thank you again
Thank you for an honest review. I was leaning towards the Maker 3 but started seeing some negative reviews. Now I’m researching more before making a decision. It’s a lot of money to spend and I want to make the right choice.
I was doubting my recent purchase of the the (original) Maker, and it hasn't even been delivered yet. Now that I have watched your review of the Maker 3 I feel like I did indeed make the correct choice. It did seem to me that the "smart" vinyl was a bit over blown, and that it was more of a marketing ploy, it seems that I was right! Thank you for your time in making this informative video! :)
Prettt sure you can also use the smart vinyl on the original maker. I just got the maker 3 weeks ago and got some smart vinyl haven’t tried it yet though with the maker
@@Yaboringme Yeah absolutely, you can cut it down to size in order to fit it onto a mat but it's definitely the same as regular premium vinyl so would be an expensive choice.
Thank you so much for this honest review! I appreciate that it does not serve as a simple shopping channel for the brand and that it does not conceal the issues and bugs. As a longtime Cameo user who was extremely disappointed by the Cameo 4 I am now looking for an alternative that meets my needs. And it seems that the Maker is the perfect replacement. Interestingly, my old Cameo 3 can handle 3 m roll-feeded vinyl without a mat and without any problems (no special Silhouette material). Therefore, I won’t need a Maker 3 anyway. Now, I only have to figure out, how much effort it will be to transfer my Silhouette Studio designs into Design Space….
Thank you SOOO much! My husband bought a Cricut maker 3 for me as a surprise! I have been scarred to open in fear I may not be able to return it. Some of the reviews are scary and I thought I should return it before opening or I won’t be able to. I’m glad I didn’t. I’ll be purchasing the original maker. Thank you so much!!!!
I bought the cricut maker. I was going to get the maker 3 then I saw this video 🙂 thank you! I got the maker on sale with the materials bundle (cricut promo) Saved money on that alone, but it make sense to me to spend that couple of hundred extra i would have spent on maker 3 and get an easy press 3 😁 Anything that has "smart" on it, doesn't necessarily mean smart for the consumers.
Finally an honest review with the clear differences! everywhere it says its X2 fast, but no where did it say it was only for smart materials! if I would have found out after purchase I would have been mad. and with 200 USD difference currently, your video really gives all the points to think about. Thank you so much!
I recently bought an original maker brand new from Walmart for a lot cheaper than the maker 3. This review made me feel like I made the right choice. I don’t make big projects, I like making small things. Also I found that my maker is actually pretty quiet, it doesn’t sound loud at all.
Thank you for your honest review. I am brand new to all this and didn't know if I should spend the extra money and every review I've watched so far, none have said just exactly what the differences are so thank you very much! I'm going to go with the Cricut Maker.
Thank you so much for this. You saved me about $400+. I have the upgrade syndrome. I always think that I need the next newest machine because it must be better. I've have about 10-15 Cricuts since my initial baby Cricut in 2005, The Expression, the Imagine, the Air 1 and 2 the Gypsy. Every time a new one came out I'd get it. But I'm satisfied with my original Maker
Best review yet. We already have a silhouette cameo 3 and my wife really wanted a cricut maker and she bought the std unit and was a bit disapointed at first but now that we have done some further research we are happy with the choice.
Thank you so so much 💗 for your review I've been waiting and wanting a cricuit for 6 years now.. I'm still a little slightly undecided.. but I do appreciate your video so much because I never would if thought that the other blades weren't included.. making me lean more to the noise older model 🤣 possibly I don't even have a favorite color or food so it's always hard for me to decide.. going to watch this again with a glass of 🍷take some note then get ready for the sales 😉 on Monday 🤞
Have been trying to figure out which Cricut would fit my needs better. So happy to find your comparison, which helped so much in my decision. By the way, I will be going with the Cricut Maker.
I've heard good things about the cameo but I havent personally used one. If you're weighing up between the Maker and Maker 3, I'd definitely go with the Maker.
Thank you so much I just purchased a maker 3 but after see your review I’m gonna go and get the maker I been looking for honest reviews on it I couldn’t find on so I bought the most recent one. I’m gonna go switch for a maker thank you so much 😊
Hi I have had the maker for a few years now then when the maker 3 came out I wasn't sure if I had done the right thing but I do not need any more convincing I think the maker is perfect what my crafting leisurely at home. Thank you for such a detailed video.🙂
Thank you for making this video. I am considering buying my first Cricut and have found your experience to be invaluable to my process of researching before I buy. My initial thought is always to get something that will let me do everything even if I don't be doing everything right away, I like having the options available. I'd never have factored in the base practicalities like included tools and materials, and additional expenses to buy items that really should be included for the price you are paying. In Australia, base retail is $699 for the Maker 3 which is a lot of money and I'd have to buy mats and tools on top of that. Just wow.
It seems the other reviewers never turned the machine on and tested for themselves but just read what cricut promised with the new maker 3. Your review is the best!
Thank you, I wasn’t sure if I made the right purchase, going with the maker. I wanted it for cutting fabric for machine appliqué. Thanks for ensuring me I didn’t waste my money.
Thank you so much for honest review.. I been thinking which one should I get ? After watching this I know which one exactly and make me happy to get. I did own air 2 :) want to update. Lucky I found you hehehe
Thank you thank you a thank you. This has helped me tremendously. You gave me facts while also pointing out things I wouldn’t even thought of with your facts like having to remember that with the smart material you can’t cut the whole thing because then it won’t feed through. I have a Cricut Joy and I didn’t even think of that. I just started putting them on the mat when they got smaller, either way can work, but I understand the point of what you were saying. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
What a great review! I’ve been trying to decide which Maker to get. I have tge Air 2 but would like to cut more materials. I’ve decided to get the Maker and it’s on sale for $249 at JoAnns!! Thanks again! Your voice is very pleasing for videos 😉
Thank you so much for your review I’m trying to decide on the Maker or Maker 3. At first I was thinking Maker, then changed to the Maker 3… now leaning back toward the Maker. Ugh just not sure what to do…
@@ItsyBitsyBuild Thank you for your advice. Money is a bit of an issue and one of the reasons I want to get the Maker is to try to help earn more income from home. I’d really like to turn it into a small business.
Thank you so much for this video, there's many comparison videos of the two but only you spoke on the speed difference of the smart vinyl. I now know my upgrade from explorer air 2 will be the regular maker because they cut the same materials and for the most part the difference is only in the smart vinyl and my current explorer air 2 actually cuts smart vinyl so there's no win in getting the 3. I'm so happy and thankful for your video ☺️
Thank you for your review. I am looking and making decision to get my first cutting machine and I thought about the Maker3 as invest the best one " I thought" but after watched your video, I will rethink. I do not want to pay high for something I do not want as extra.
Aww man wish I saw this video before I ordered my maker 3. I would have saved at least $150 just getting the maker, thank you for you’re video. Hope it saves someone else out there
What a great review . Such honesty….I’m glad someone had the guts to give a true review . Because you did this I will be a new subby. Just because I feel you will tell us the truth and dear that took guts. Have a blessed night. 💞
Which cutting mat are you using for the M3?…….I can’t find one that fits a 33cm feed, good honest review, I wish I had seen this before I purchased as I’m really disappointed with my machine, they say 300 materials but I don’t see that on a smart material basis.
Thank you for your honest review. I really liked it. It really helps. Could I ask you for some advice? I have a project , but can’t understand how to make it as it is not a project that figures on Cricut website? Please🙏🏾
@@ItsyBitsyBuild Oh thank you. You are very kind. I am trying to make a kind of frame with a circle cut out, so that I can put a picture underneath. The frame has to be A4, an empty circle cut out in the middle. Diametre 14cm, which leaves 3.3 cm each side, 5,4 cm on the top and 14 cm on the bottom of the page. The machine so far was not very friendly and I did not manage to do it. Thank you for your help:
OK I would suggest creating a square under the shapes tab. Then unlock the little padlock in the bottom right corner of the square to unlock the aspect ratio, add the dimensions of an A4 paper under dimensions at the top of design space (can be obtained from Google). Then add a circle with the measurements you've listed here but in this case don't unlock the padlock when resizing. Then place that circle over the top of the A4 paper. You could also add other squares to represent the distance between the edge of the A4 paper and the circle to guide the exact placement. Once you're happy with the placement, delete the addition guide squares. Highlight both the circle and your A4 paper and click slice (bottom right hand corner of design space). This will cut the circle out of the square leaving you with your desired shape.
Very good video Itsy , my wife was telling me about upgrading to a Cricut Maker 3 but this video will provide a good insight . Hope you make more review and unboxing videos in the future coz you seem to be awesome at it Hehehe I like you voice too 🙂
I'm trying to decide which machine to purchase since my explore died the other day. I do most of my crafting at night after my kids go to bed so noise is a big issue. Is the maker 3 really that much quieter than the maker? That would be the only thing making me want to buy it
Hello!!! I am new to your channel. I am also new to cricut (I've been calling it CRY-CUT!). I do a lot of DIY projects and was going to buy a thermal label maker. Boy am I glad I found your channel before buying! I too was leaning toward the maker 3 until your review. Being totally new to this technology I was just looking for the best package for the best price. Buying paper is easy, but when you have to buy extra tools the price adds up. That's where you sold me. I appreciated the very detailed review showing the pro's & cons. The Maker pros won this race! Thanks agin for the review. I look forward to seeing more of your videos to guide me on this new adventure! Cheers!!
😂 I’m like you, new to all of this and I’m SOOOOO glad I found this b4 I purchased the Maker 3…… it’s in my cart but I decided to do some more research on it b4 I hit the “buy” button! I’ll be buying the Maker! Best of luck in your crafting endeavors!!!
This was a great review. I already have the Maker 3 (just purchased) and I am glad I did, but still good to know all of this about the features benefits and shortcomings.
I have an older cameo and was looking at maybe buying some cricut products. So this was a great review. I think I will buy the maker. Not the 3 because of the lack of accessories it comes with to start of.
Thank you for this honest review. I just bought a Cricut Maker for making miniatures and, after watching your review, I’m so glad I didn’t spend the extra money on the Cricut Maker 3.
Thank you for this review. I was getting so frustrated trying to cut basswood. I waited to buy this maker and Got a great buy on it from local store so I will keep it but am frustrated with all the same issues you stated.
Thank you so much for this objective comparison! I am a miniature maker and not interested in using smart materials, so it looks like I can safely get a (much cheaper) Maker instead of a Maker 3! I have used a Brother Scan N Cut for many years. It's a good machine, but not as sophisticated with cutting thicker materials as the Maker.
The Maker is perfectly fine for mini making. You might have seen some of my other cricut miniature videos but I recommend watching my guide to wood cutting. The function can be difficult, especially with tiny cuts.
Can you cut wood (bass) (or others) on just the regular maker? I know maker 3 you can but curious about maker? I don't have any machine and would like to begin! Was going to start with the "best" maker 3 but now I'm debating on the maker and not spending extra for basically nothing
Thank you. In my area the maker is over 100 dollars less on sale. The maker 3 is regular price. I’m going to go with the one on sale. Thanks so much for your thorough and helpful review
Hiya- Thanks for your video- I just bought the Maker 3, wish I had seen this video first, lol...did you post the workaround Cricut sent you for cutting basswood or have they figured out their firmware issue? Cutting heavier materials like basswood is the reason I bought the maker 3....thanks...
Thankfully they've fixed the issue so you should be OK to make wood projects now. I've got a wood guide on my channel you might want to watch before you get started. All the best ☺
I love your video I agree with everything you have said about Cricut, maybe investing more in there testing of the cuts. after watching your video you helped me not buy the maker 3 I had my explorer packed up ready to go buy the maker 3 .Thank you for the truth. God bless you!
Thank you for your honest review. I already got the maker and definitely wasn't investing in the maker tree but I was just curious what the difference was. And it scared me how much of the content comparing the two are sponsored by cricut themselves. What's the point of making a review if you're going to be biased anyways
I’m glad I didn’t see any reviews when i got my machine . I didn’t even know what a Cricut machine did or what it was used for. The original owner couldn’t return it and got her self in too deep and felt like she was way over her head using the maker3. I only paid like $150USD if that I can’t remember exactly what i paid but i guess after buying what i needed that didn’t come with the machine (which was upsetting) i guess it must have been $150USD, and after using it for all kinds of stuff and actually saving time and money and knowing what i know now i would have definitely paid full price for this machine its definitely worth its weight in silver or maybe copper whatever is cheapest and closest to $499USD. For the price though it really should come with the “bear necessities” (har har) one practice cut and stuff that you might not be able to print on shouldn’t be the only things to come with a machine that can do SOO MUCH. To be fair I really like the dial and the settings directly on the maker machine when it comes to function over form but i love the sleekness of the maker3 much more idk maybe they should do something that has the function and form of both the machines. I love how you can do most stuff at the twist of a nob and press of a button, having to touch my iPad then the machine then the ipad again then the machine then the iPad you get the drift, its really annoying I should be able to start the cutting/machine from the ipad. Maybe its a safety feature but its quite annoying. I just found my usb cable so we’ll see how it works from my pc.
Thanks for your review. I have the maker and I only have an ipad where I have my design space. It baffles my mind that I still can’t curve text in ipad design space and yet I can do it on my sons laptop. Seems so silly and it’s so annoying. Also is cricut the only company that’s selling smart vinyl at this time? I almost thought about keeping my maker and then getting a larger vinyl cutter for larger projects. It’s a pain trying to cut larger projects and line them up after cutting them on 3 separate mats
Thank you for your review! I had a Cricut Maker and it had a rubber roller issue which is really annoying. The rubber roller always moving around. I was wondering did the new Maker fix the rubber roller issue. Thank you!
Hey Lau, that issue does seem to be more common on the Maker model but I have seen some isolated cases of Maker 3 machines having the same issue. It should be covered under warranty if this issue occurs and replaced without cost inside the warranty window.
The Cricut wood cutting issue has been fixed in the latest firmware update.
Was the issue been resolved? Were you able to cut basswood in cricut maker 3?
@@christinaverniceforonda8993 Cricut has said that this was fixed in the latest firmware update but I havent been able to successfully try it yet.
Thank you for this update!!!

I'm so glad you found it helpful. All the best with your purchase. They're great machines no matter which one you buy ☺
Great video! Really appreciate the review on the circuts. ❤
Thanks for the lovely comment ☺
Have been trying to figure out which Cricut would fit my needs better. So happy to find your comparison, which helped so much in my decision. By the way, I will be going with the Cricut Maker.
Yay! I'm so glad! ☺
Thank you so much. I’m about to buy a Cricut for the first time. This was very helpful.
You're welcome!
Thanks for this ! Just found you, and I am trying to decide between Cricut Maker , Maker 3 and Silhouette Cameo 4...
I’m gonna go switch for a maker thank you so much 😊
I'm so glad you found it helpful. I hope you enjoy your new Maker ☺
Hi I have had the maker for a few years now then when the maker 3 came out I wasn't sure if I had done the right thing but I do not need any more convincing I think the maker is perfect what my crafting leisurely at home. Thank you for such a detailed video.🙂
You're welcome ☺
Thank you for making this video. I am considering buying my first Cricut and have found your experience to be invaluable to my process of researching before I buy. My initial thought is always to get something that will let me do everything even if I don't be doing everything right away, I like having the options available. I'd never have factored in the base practicalities like included tools and materials, and additional expenses to buy items that really should be included for the price you are paying. In Australia, base retail is $699 for the Maker 3 which is a lot of money and I'd have to buy mats and tools on top of that. Just wow.
Thanks for the comment ☺
I agree, the inclusions in the Maker box are definitely more appealing.
Thank you, you answered all my questions about which one to choose.
You're welcome, Sue ☺
To me this is the most helpful review on that topic! Thanks a lot!
It seems the other reviewers never turned the machine on and tested for themselves but just read what cricut promised with the new maker 3. Your review is the best!
Thank you for the lovely comment, Gracie.
This was incredibly helpful thank you. Do you have any videos on recommendations for high quality printers to use with the cricut?
I don't but are you wanting to do sublimation printing or more inkjet type printing for stickers?
I wish I saw this review before my purchase. Great job! Thank you.
Thanks for the support. I hope you enjoy your new purchase.
Thank you, I wasn’t sure if I made the right purchase, going with the maker. I wanted it for cutting fabric for machine appliqué. Thanks for ensuring me I didn’t waste my money.
You're welcome. The inclusion of the fabric grip mat and fabric rotary blade will save you lots ☺
Thank you for saving me money on my first buy! This was an extremely helpful review.
That's great to hear ☺
Yes this is exactly what I needed to see!!! Thank u so much
You're welcome ☺
I very much appreciate your honest review! Thank you!
Thank you for supporting my work ☺
Thank you so much for honest review.. I been thinking which one should I get ? After watching this I know which one exactly and make me happy to get. I did own air 2 :) want to update. Lucky I found you hehehe
I'm so glad it was helpful and I hope you love your new purchase ☺
Thanks so much for the review! This really helped.
That's great to hear! Thank you
Thank you thank you a thank you.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you for your lovely comment ☺
What a great review! I’ve been trying to decide which Maker to get. I have tge Air 2 but would like to cut more materials. I’ve decided to get the Maker and it’s on sale for $249 at JoAnns!! Thanks again! Your voice is very pleasing for videos 😉
Thank you so much, Diana ☺ I hope you love your new Maker
Thank you so much for your review I’m trying to decide on the Maker or Maker 3. At first I was thinking Maker, then changed to the Maker 3… now leaning back toward the Maker. Ugh just not sure what to do…
You're welcome. I'd say if money is not a concern then buy the Maker 3. Otherwise, the Maker is just as good and performs the same functions.
@@ItsyBitsyBuild Thank you for your advice. Money is a bit of an issue and one of the reasons I want to get the Maker is to try to help earn more income from home. I’d really like to turn it into a small business.
@@lynnhamilton397 then the Maker will be perfect. It does all the same things as the Maker 3. Wishing you all the best with your business venture!
Thank you for the review. It made me think twice about which machine to invest in.
(I also subscribed). X
Thanks for subscribing ☺
Thank you so much for this video, there's many comparison videos of the two but only you spoke on the speed difference of the smart vinyl. I now know my upgrade from explorer air 2 will be the regular maker because they cut the same materials and for the most part the difference is only in the smart vinyl and my current explorer air 2 actually cuts smart vinyl so there's no win in getting the 3. I'm so happy and thankful for your video ☺️
I'm so glad to hear that ☺ I hope you love your new purchase!
Best review. Not scripted but honest. Well done, THANK YOU 🎉
Thank you so much!
Thank you for your review. I am looking and making decision to get my first cutting machine
and I thought about the Maker3 as invest the best one " I thought" but after watched
your video, I will rethink. I do not want to pay high for something I do not want as
extra.
I'm so glad you found it useful ☺
Aww man wish I saw this video before I ordered my maker 3. I would have saved at least $150 just getting the maker, thank you for you’re video. Hope it saves someone else out there
That's OK, it's still a great machine ☺
Thank you for this review. I am thinking of purchasing my first cricut and your review was the most helpful one I've watched.
I'm so glad to hear that 😊
Im just today seeing this. I bought the Maker 3 yesterday. Ive never used one before. My daughter has though.
Great video, thank you for your share.
And the relaxing music made me very enjoyed.
You're welcome :)
What a great video! Your thoughtful insights are very helpful as I am trying to decide if a Cricut is something I was to invest in.
Thanks for the lovely feedback ☺ I hope you find the right machine for your needs.
What a great review . Such honesty….I’m glad someone had the guts to give a true review . Because you did this I will be a new subby. Just because I feel you will tell us the truth and dear that took guts. Have a blessed night. 💞
Aww thank you so much!
Excellent review! Thanks for being so honest with everything.
You're welcome! Thanks for the support.
This is the only honest review out there thank you!
Thanks for the support ☺
Which cutting mat are you using for the M3?…….I can’t find one that fits a 33cm feed, good honest review, I wish I had seen this before I purchased as I’m really disappointed with my machine, they say 300 materials but I don’t see that on a smart material basis.
Any of the regular 12 x 12 mats fit the Maker 3. You can definitely get more use out of your machine using non smart materials.
Thank you for your honest review. I really liked it. It really helps. Could I ask you for some advice? I have a project , but can’t understand how to make it as it is not a project that figures on Cricut website? Please🙏🏾
Sure thing, what kind of project are you making?
@@ItsyBitsyBuild well well well, thank you so much. I will try this but how can I unlock the padlock? I tried but did not succeed. Thank you again.
If you watch this video from the 5 min mark you can see how it's done ua-cam.com/video/iATVFg6uP-c/v-deo.html
Thank you for the comparison of the two machines. It was very helpful!
You're welcome 😊
Thank you for your well researched, informative and honest review. This video really helped me make my decision on which model to buy.
That's lovely to hear, thanks Debra ☺
Thanks for your honesty!!!
You're welcome ☺
Thank you so much for this review! Very informative and helps me to decide which product to choose. subscribed to your channel. Happy holidays 😊
I'm so glad to hear that, thanks for the sub ☺ happy holidays too!
Assisti vários vídeos, mas sem sombra de dúvidas, o seu foi infinitamente mais esclarecedor! Muito obrigada pelo conteúdo!
Thank you! ☺
Great review! Thank you for all the great information. I am looking into getting one of these machines and you’ve helped me in my decision.
I'm so glad to hear that, thanks for the support 🥰
Very good video Itsy , my wife was telling me about upgrading to a Cricut Maker 3 but this video will provide a good insight .
Hope you make more review and unboxing videos in the future coz you seem to be awesome at it
Hehehe I like you voice too 🙂
Thank you so much ☺️
I'm trying to decide which machine to purchase since my explore died the other day.
Cheers!!
Thanks so much for the support. It's so lovely to read comments like yours.
I just made my purchase! 😁 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 lol.
@@eachandeverything9068 I hope it has arrived and you're now enjoying your new Cricut ☺
by far the best video on this subject! thank you for a HONEST review. headed to get my clearance maker now lol!
Thank you so much! I hope you love it as much as I do.
I appreciate the honest review before making my first purchase of a Maker.
This was a great review. I already have the Maker 3 (just purchased) and I am glad I did, but still good to know all of this about the features benefits and shortcomings.
Thanks for the lovely comment, Melissa. I hope you love your new Maker 3 ☺
I have an older cameo and was looking at maybe buying some cricut products. So this was a great review. I think I will buy the maker. Not the 3 because of the lack of accessories it comes with to start of.
How have you found the cameo?
great video! I own the maker and purcahsed the maker 3 bundle as i like the idea of having a faster machine and to be able to cut matless.
Excellent! I'm sure you'll love it ☺
Thank you for this honest review. I just bought a Cricut Maker for making miniatures and, after watching your review, I’m so glad I didn’t spend the extra money on the Cricut Maker 3.
You're welcome 😊
I'm so excited for you. Have you made any minis yet?
Finally a honest review I was almost gonna buy the maker 3 but after 3 and a half minutes I think I've already decided to buy the maker 😅
I'm so glad you found it helpful ☺
Awesome review! So thorough and informative! You've helped me with my decision to purchase the original maker for my current needs.
I'm so glad to hear that, thanks for the support 🥰
This is a wonderful frank review and opinion. Of tremendous value and interest. Many, many thanks!
Thank you! I'm so glad it was helpful ☺
Thank you for this review. I was getting so frustrated trying to cut basswood. I waited to buy this maker and Got a great buy on it from local store so I will keep it but am frustrated with all the same issues you stated.
I'm sorry to hear that Jo 😔 ill be sure to update you once I hear back from Cricut on this basswood issue.
Best review, clear and honest, U R the best
Thank you so much!
Great review!
I'm getting the cricut regular old fashioned!
Yay! What are you going to make first?
One of my favourite reviews!
Thanks for the lovely comment ☺
Thank you for your honest opinion. I agree and I am happy with my maker.
That's awesome! Thanks for supporting my channel ☺
Excellent review! Can't thank you enough for the information as a new purchaser.
I'm so glad you found it helpful ☺
Thank you so much for this objective comparison! I am a miniature maker and not interested in using smart materials, so it looks like I can safely get a (much cheaper) Maker instead of a Maker 3! I have used a Brother Scan N Cut for many years. It's a good machine, but not as sophisticated with cutting thicker materials as the Maker.
The Maker is perfectly fine for mini making. You might have seen some of my other cricut miniature videos but I recommend watching my guide to wood cutting. The function can be difficult, especially with tiny cuts.
Finally!! A review that is not sponsored. Thanks!
You're welcome 😊
Can you cut wood (bass) (or others) on just the regular maker? I know maker 3 you can but curious about maker? I don't have any machine and would like to begin! Was going to start with the "best" maker 3 but now I'm debating on the maker and not spending extra for basically nothing
Yes the Maker and Maker 3 have exactly the same functions. You might want to watch my handy wood guide ua-cam.com/video/vwYguYtPeyY/v-deo.html
Thank you. In my area the maker is over 100 dollars less on sale. The maker 3 is regular price. I’m going to go with the one on sale. Thanks so much for your thorough and helpful review
You're most welcome! I hope you enjoy it!
@@ItsyBitsyBuild thanks for your quick reply! love your minis!
I love your video I agree with everything you have said about Cricut, maybe investing more in there testing of the cuts. after watching your video you helped me not buy the maker 3 I had my explorer packed up ready to go buy the maker 3 .Thank you for the truth. God bless you!
Thanks for the support, Pedro. I'm glad to hear you found the video helpful ☺
Thank you for your honest review. I already got the maker and definitely wasn't investing in the maker tree but I was just curious what the difference was. And it scared me how much of the content comparing the two are sponsored by cricut themselves. What's the point of making a review if you're going to be biased anyways
I'm so glad you found it useful and I hope you love your new Maker!
Thank you for your honest review! I love how you did a thorough comparison between the two machines. I decided to buy the original Cricut Maker ☺️
Congrats on your purchase ☺
I agree, designing on the ipad is much easier than a laptop. Hopefully they release an update for it later.
Just a perfect and honest review! Fantastic made. The background music in my opinion could be a bit quiter.
Thanks for the feedback :)
Thank you so much!! I was thinking of getting the maker 3 but then I decided to get the maker!! And I got it for 229 +tax 245 at Michaels
Yay I'm so excited for you!
