    Great video! I've been looking to uptake figure skating but with everything closing again I was worried I wouldn't be able to practice anything to get myself started. But this gives me hope I'll have something to do until I can get on the ice!

      Glad you liked the mickey mouse bag 😂 If you haven't yet ordered exercise bands, I would recommend yoh order Theraband ones. They are a little more expensive, but a lot better to use. Others will get the job done, but they snap easier and are less consistent with their resistance.

      You're welcome! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying them! Thanks for your suggestion too, I'll make a video covering that. Typically skaters have weak ankels, so it's a good idea to do strengthening exercises before going back on the ice to avoid injury!

    My kid is learning ice skating right now. But his two legs are too far apart from each other. We tried and are still trying to correct it but little success. Any tips we can do at home to help him to skate with two legs closer? Thanks

    the 2nd to last exercises it looks like there is strain on the lower back? Leg pointed back levering up and down.

    • @IceCoachOnline
      @IceCoachOnline  4 роки тому +1

      It does work your back yes. It's the exact position that you use when skating forwards on the ice. If you have any concerns regarding the exercise, it's best to consult with a doctor or physio before trying the exercise 👍

      You can do it with a very low hop from the push into the skating position of you only have carpet. It will still allow you to practice generating a good push and hitting that forward skating position!

      @@IceCoachOnline hi! I have a question! I'm 14 and i started to learn figure skating at 13. I want to know that isn't 13 too late to start? Bc many of those learners i see there, are really younger than me. I kind of feel sad hehe 😂😭. I'm talented at skating and i can skate with skate roller so skating on ice would be really easier for me! And i want to know does practicing with skate roller make some problems if i wanna continue figure skating? Bc my teacher told me it does! And that makes me confused and makes problems for skating on ice! So i wanna make myself sure.
      Sorry for any mistakes .I'm from Iran 😂✋🏼
