    I can't thank you enough for this series! I have failed so many times on ice for the lack of a proper off-ice routine. Can't wait to see the result of these exercises when I'm back on ice!

    Thanks for making this helpful video! I find a ballet turnboard useful for practicing three turns - more so than the balance board you used toward the end of this video. The curvature on the turnboard mimics the rocker on the ice blades, and the turning motion on the torso is similar to what you do on the ice, thereby trains muscle memory. I actually got the idea from you when you very briefly show using a turnboard for three turns in the video in which you compare a ballet turnboard to a pro figure skating spinner, so, thank you again 🤗

      I used a waxed paper plate and my heavy hiking boots to get the turn at the beginning, ITs cheap, and some people can get the 3 turn from there.

    Lloyd: A great big thank you, for another informative video. I am adding the 3 turn workout to my workout routine. My workout routine is getting longer and longer!

      Thanks so much for the kind words! Let me know how it goes and if you feel an improvement after trying it out a few times!
      There is a lot we can do to improve off ice! It's about picking the most efficient exercises based on what we want to accomplish. Going at home workouts at random is never a bad thing, but people should sometimes think whether it's the most efficient use of their time! A home work out carefully tailored their goals is always a better solution!

    Thanks so much for this great video! I was wondering How to apply for bracket?

    • @IceCoachOnline
      @IceCoachOnline  2 роки тому

      Glad it was helpful! I believe there is a video about practicing a bracket up on the channel. If not it is also up on Patreon. You can adjust the positions to reflect the ones you need to do for brackets and do the same exercises actually.

    Can you talk about getting/maintaining spin positions off ice?

    • @IceCoachOnline

      Yes of course! I ordered a spinner to help with that content, I'm just waiting for it to arrive before I get started ⛸️

    How do you feel about using something like the Edea spinner that you use elsewhere for practicing turns?

    I've been trying but having a hard time reversing. Can you do it again but turned the other way so I can see from behind you.
