    Kristi absolutely pay no attention to the haters...the reason haters hate is because they're jealous... If they don't like the content in your videos then why are they even watching them? Keep doing what you do and making these excellent educational videos!! And another reason you have haters is because you're absolutely gorgeous and they hate that... maybe if they worked on themselves they wouldn't feel so bad... Have a wonderful evening Kristi!! Always look forward to more excellent videos 👍😁

    I love your videos and positive attitude. Whenever I need a pick me up or health inspiration, I watch one of your videos. I’ve had a really hard time mentally this winter. Depression, anxiety and low motivation. I’m trying to claw my way out of it! This is normal for me so I’ll be fine.
    Congratulations on your weight loss! I’m so proud of you and glad you’re in a good place mentally.

      Thank you so much for your kind words!! I totally understand the winter blues. That's why I live in Florida!! LOL No, honestly though, menopause did a number on me with that. It's like I knew I was at a low point, but just couldn't dig my way out. I just had to be patient and wait it out. I'm glad you recognize it and it's a normal thing for you. I'll be saying a prayer to lift you out of the funk, my friend!! You are worth it and life is short!! 💕

      @@PlanningUsHealthythank you for your kind words. I live in Minnesota and winter can be kind of dreary. I’m actually doing better. It’s warmed up and the sun is out! I’ve been able the get some bike riding in and that makes me so happy. I’m an outdoor workout girl. I also have some indoor projects going on and my brain is full of ideas!

    I just recently found your channel, and I LOVE it! I’m on my own weight loss journey, and knew I’d be able to stick to my goals if I tracked calories and increased protein to keep me full. Keto is just not for me, so I was thrilled to find your channel so full of great inspiration:) Thank you!!

    I have worked nights for several years. Currently I work 830pm to 830am. I eat my big meal around 6pm with my husband then overnights I snack. I bring health higher protein things like eggs and yogurt and shakes or bars and veggies. Then I will eat a smaller breakfast when I get home. It works for me but I do have to make sure I get enough calories.

A lot of that time i was non weight bearing or very little weight bearing and wasnt cooking. Im still trying to get my head in the right place to stay motivated ling enough to have consistent weight loss and healthy eating. Never give up!

    I never worked over night. I have, however, worked evenings. Until 11 pm or 1:30 am. I had my dinner/supper as my main meal at work.
    I have worked with nurses who worked 12 hours overnight, and they had dinner overnight and had breakfast in the morning after work.
    I'm guessing how people tackle working overnight varies depending on what works for them and the type of job they're doing etc..

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  4 місяці тому +1

      I'm thinking the same. Even people who work days do things differently. I know someone who eats their dinner in the morning and then their lighter meal is at night. Whatever works!! 😊

    For working at night, just keep the same schedule as you would if you worked during the day. Have your breakfast shortly after you get up. Whether that's at 5am or 5pm, that is your breakfast. Then have lunch either on your break time at work, or at home on your day off be it 12pm or 12am. Then have your snack half way between lunch and supper, be it 3pm or 3am. Then have your supper at 6am. Then, after supper, be it evening or morning, do your chill time the way you would at any time, then go to bed when you need to, be it 10pm or 10am.

    I have worked nights in the past, I have made my big meal early evening, before or during work. If you make your big meal early morning, then you risk gaining weight by eating a heavy meal before you go to be (I noticed this happening to people I worked nights with also I think sometimes your metabolism is more challenged when you work at night due to lack of quality sleep). When I felt like I needed to eat when getting off of work in the morning I would have a snack like a yogurt or something that would not cause food to be sitting in my stomach when I would sleep.

    I agree with all the comments made before mine! Keep doing what you are doing Kristi - you are 100% natural and inspirational. My January has been just the same as so many of my past months. I start out strong with good intentions and then somehow, someway, I cave. And I never finish the month in the way that I had originally intended. This is getting so frustrating. I have to figure out a way to dedicate myself to commit to a healthy plan. Aargh!!! Rory

    I'm at the end of my 2nd week doing WW. 1st week I was determined to lose weight and didn't use my points everyday but lost 2 pounds. This week I'm struggling. I'm using more than my points because I'm Hungary. I try to walk but sometimes I don't do that either. Did this happen to you when starting out? Do I just need to get used to it? I'm gluten free so I can't eat everything. I'm new to your channel so hoping you can give ideas.

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  3 місяці тому +1

      It takes time for sure. And usually in the beginning ypu use a lot of water weight. Losing weight isn't linear. It's not based on what you eat one particular week. It's a process that happens over time. Make sure you're eating enough filling, nutritious foods throughout the day. Walking is EXCELLENT for exercise, for health, everything. So even if you get a few 10-minute walks in a day, that's helpful. Just give it time and listen to your body. Remember it's about overall health and that number on the scale is just a small factor of what's going on. 😊

      It's crazy the things people will comment! I can't imagine commenting something rude. If I don't like or agree with something someone posts, I just move on. Some people are miserable people and apparently never learned kindness! Thanks friend!! 🥰
