Seems reasonable. Despite owning an 86 inch series 1 and a 2007 defender 90 we have entered. You can never have too many LR
Imho, those concerned about the possibility of you conducting this competition just to make a lot of money, more than you would get if you just sold it, is that it then becomes financially motivated rather than out of altruism for those who could not afford to buy it.
So I am not surprised that people have raised concern but equally happy that you have explained.

Who picks the winner and who audits them? Without knowing that it’s safe to assume anything is a scam. Raffall simply saying “ it’s random” could mean anything - including “One of our 5 friends at random”
I think it's a great idea and a way that one of your followers can own this LR. You've been so open and gone over and beyond what most people would do. If you disagree or don't like it then don't enter the draw. Good luck and look forward to seeing your future endeavours.

I actually like the way your going about this! Millions of people buy lottery tickets and don’t complain about it being unfair… it’s exactly the same principle so I honestly can’t see why people are getting upset and crying about this. It’s just sad tbh. Good for you for sticking to your guns and getting on with it! I like your channel and this is a great way of giving back to your followers. You can’t fix stupid so let them make the smart comments about it and don’t let it get to you.

I have my own Td5 90 and I love watching your videos, they inspire me to be a bit braver and try my own modifications. Hearing negative comments from people can be really tough, but please don't think they speak for the rest of us. You come across as a really genuine person and tbh, even if you'd made £80k on your defender, so what? For the enjoyment you give everyone with your videos, I think most people would just be happy for you..... and hope that might mean you get 2 projects to work on next :)

Well, the chance of me winning it are slim as I wasn’t aware of the discount bundles but that pretty much sums up my life - charge in without thinking about it. 😅 That being said, I’m just amazed these days how many people out there are looking to be ‘offended’ by something and double down by needling to complain. 😢

Hey- it does sound a lot but they go fast- I’ve now got 350 to sell since I posted this video so not many left 👌🏻 I sold 8000 in the previous 4 weeks so weekly average is better than I thought before starting this idea of a competition!
Don’t need to defend yourself. It’s a way of recouping the money you have spent on it, usually you never do.

There is always going to be those people that just don't like to think someone is going to make some money....who cares if you make more than its worth, nobody is forced to buy a ticket, like you said nobody bothers about the millions the lotto makes over and above what they pay out. i might buy a ticket just for the hell of it.🤣

I’m sorry that you’ve had to make this video. Who cares even if you did make £45k from selling it? I could still win it for £5 so your potential upside makes zero difference to me or anyone else who’s entered 🤷🏻♂️ Hopefully the people moaning don’t buy anything from a shop or ever go out for dinner because they’d presumably be devastated to find out that they’re not paying the original cost price 🙄 You’ve put so much time & money into this car & we’ve enjoyed being part of its journey, good luck to you if you come out of it with a bit of profit I say

Hopefully you’ll wipe your face and not be worst off than if you’d sold it to one of the online car buying groups - not sure why folk reacted like they did because so far as I can see nobody is forced into it. It’s a bit of fun for £5 and good luck to the winner. I would say that this is safer than selling or buying on some of the other platforms judging by some of the recent horror stories you read. So what if you make a nice few quid out of it!
