This is my favourite defender on UA-cam, its the right colour combo for me and is the perfect spec that has had love poured into it. That’s why im looking to buy one my self, even though they are really expensive now! Sad to see your go, but im happy you have decided to get another, cant wait to see what this one will look like!

Engine ideas TDV8, M57, Cummins or Merc OM606 especially if into a Puma. I have adaptor for fitting M57 to Puma gearbox but am weighing up the options so will be interested in your thought process with engine options.

Small question about the rear bench seats, do they have seatbelts and do the DVLA/Insurance know about them?
Hiya. I like them too but Check the rear seating meets your needs. The Rear seats in the double cab have really upright seat backs. Ok if you’re 7 or 8 but for adults they are very cramped
Can you recommend the car electrician ? Looking to upgrade sound system on mine
Not sure if you’ve seen it, but Sam’s Motor and Machine channel has a double cab on it. Not sure if he would want to sell it, but at least it may provide some inspiration. He has done some cool things to it already. Good luck!

As much as I like the idea of a LS3, I think the best way forward would be a M57 auto conversion with air suspension on the 110 Double Cab. Juice Motors would be good to collaborate with and always complete with the OEM look.
Just happened on your channel....it's great well done fella! I had a disco 2 TD5 which I enjoyed modding, had to sell it a couple of years ago sob.....I really wanted a defender but was told I would not fit in one and be able to drive it for more than 10 minutes without being crippled. Would the bulkhead delete and funky seats mean a 6 foot 1 and 15 stone geezer fit in it now? ...I might throw some beer tokens at it try my luck
Rarely has my Defender failed an MOT, the one year it did I had it scheduled for major structural improvements on the same week which sorted it out.
It has its niggles, but compared to the TD5 it seems a lot less complicated.
Also, I've NEVER heard the TD5 as the best engine of the Defender Doc. You are more likely to hear the 200TD or the 300TD as the best engine. The latter is the last engine prior to chips and electronic nonsense getting added etc. It's also the one the British Army uses or did use due to being EMP proof.
AC is a must for any car. maybe not in the UK.

You’re right didn’t see that! To be clear it’s under 74k but have listed it on ‘Raffall’ as 74,500 in case the mileage creeps up a bit before I draw the winner 👌🏻

If It keeps breaking down, then it's a landrover. Few yearly visits to the garage are essential to keep it going.

You don't have to be a Professional Mechanic to know, "you should check your Horn, lights, screen wash and wipers before an MOT...! I would have thought any Diyer would do this..! 🤔🤔😇😇👍👍

That really was remiss of you. Should always check lights wipers, horn, seat belts and tyres before m.o.t. All easily done.
But they passed a non legal sized number plate, which out to be on the front extremity of the vehicle?
