- Few cars capture quite as many hearts as this one - Morgan's 3 Wheeled madman is an absolute throwback - but is it really as fun as everyone says? Let's find out with thanks to my friends at Bell & Colvill.

Judging by your reaction this has to be one of the best smiles per gallon car out there!
I think thats the happiest I've seen you during a car review, mind it does look great fun.
Ha! The Delorean was me! 😜
Cool 😄😁🤣
Another "car" that makes the world so much richer. Hats off!.
God, I love that car. I was hoping you’d review one during the Morgan binge.
Great review, reminded me of Toad of Toad Hall enjoying the thrill of driving 😊
That is exactly how I felt

Oh bliss, oh poop poop!
This is one of my dream cars. I live in Argentina and I have only seen a M3W once, at a car show a few years ago. It was the Super Dry edition, surrounded by motorcycles. And nobody was paying attention to it, everybody was looking at the motorcycles instead. How so? This is infinitely cooler than your average Harley.
The audio is unreal for the conditions you're in 😂😂
Ya, amazing Mic set up! Guess that's where the expert film making experience comes in for him. He knew exactly how to use and place that audio equipment. Amazing review Jay!
one of the finest car reviews I have ever seen! You are like a kid reviewing a roller coaster.
That's what it felt like driving this
Such a delight to watch your items as apposed to silly supercars, keep up the good work 😊
Next week is silly supercars

Absolutely a WONDERFUL video. It was like watching Mr. Toad on holiday! Ok, you convinced this 82 year old Fart what to wish for. I live in wine country on the north fork of Long Island, NY USA with great country lanes and water views. I always loved Morgans but, this is what I am drooling over. I am still smiling, thanks!
Awesome review mate! You give a great experience behind the wheel 👍
I can't think of a video where you have loved a car this much!
Haha, I was just thinking, what other car would get as many looks at this when driving down the road, first thing I could think of was possibly a DeLorean! Awesome video Jay as ever!
Saw one at a petrol station once, went to talk to the bloke about it,he told me to f*** off he was sick of talking about it,I replied well you shouldn't have f*****g bought one if you don't want to talk about it
k halliday have a snickers mate, you're not you when you're hungry,or you didn't get enough cuddles as a child xx
And here's exactly the auto we were hoping you were leading into!
The happiness you exude on this video is a similar basis I use when buying most cars I have owned, and still own. If a car can't put a smile on my face.....I don't buy it.
You're a true driver
This was already one of your best videos then the DeLorean appeared!
May I say, you have the best ending credits graphics of anyone I follow. Cool video!
We are so fortunate that, despite all the modern regulations, this country has a company that can make such a car. Love it!
Love these, I got to ride in one of these three wheelers with a polished body in San Diego back in 2015
Brilliant review..... I'd love one.
I watched this a few times and it looks so much fun! so much so i have just bought a P101
Fantastic video!
I can't believe the algorithm finally served this treasure up! What a hoot!
Only one word - outstanding!
I love the Morgan manufacturing approach and model line up.
I wouldn't even mind having the new one in an automatic trans.
But its classic motor car/ driver interaction so standard trans is more fun but I would probably drive the automatic more often.
Great vehicals at any rate. Wish I could afford one.
Hi Jay, you looked like you had an absolute ball with this.
Your best video yet! 👍
Hello! I saw the the Gentleman around the proyect last day showing it to the world in another channel... And I was in love with the concept and the implementation! I love cars but I really don't need one... Untill now. This is probably the most manly car I ever see! I need one. My lieber doesn't count. It has pretty much city miles xD nice honest review!!!!!!
You've gone from 4 wheels to 3 and have had so much fun.. imagine what 2 wheels is like 😉
1:00 *start ‘iron man’ by Black Sabbath for the perfect background music* 🤘😎🤘
Absolutely love these I've only ever seen two. One in Scotland and my other in my home city Birmingham
That looks like so much fun.
Fantastic, Biggles lives!!
I'm a simple man, I see a Jay video, I click
I approve of this logic
@@JayEmmOnCars you know, I thought you might
I NEED one of these!
Brilliant!
I grew up in the former Soviet Union, in the 1990s, and one of my earliest memories of cars, is seeing a Morgan 3-wheeler in some picture book when i was like 2 or 3 years old. Definitely before I could remember vocalizing my thoughts but even then this looked so much unlike any other car I had seen up to that point, either in real life or on pictures. I even remember asking about it from my mother (or father), because it looked like a car, but the engine was clearly outside of it, so it wasn't a car, so what was it exactly?
I do not remember the exact reply, but i think "three-wheeled" was mentioned. And to the young me back then, a three-wheeled car was at least 25% less of a car than an four-wheeled car.
Awesome!!
I might get one for work :-)
A morgan 3 wheeler meeting a delorean, - is that back to the future or forward to the past? Whenever I see one I just wave at them , they are such a feel good car that shows cars are not just numbers. I can't think of a better car on a sunny day going down a country lane with a long legged blonde with short skirt sitting next to you and your Terry Thomas style mustache blowing in the wind.
It's the future past meeting the past future!
Andrew Watson you racist I like brunettes ha ha ha, my favourite car
Did you note the lack of room for a passenger, would have to be a "Twiggy" like blonde.
I looooooove the 3 wheeler. It's in my top 3 for dream cars. It's just fun that's all it wants to be 👍
Excited for the new super 3 they're bringing out, I've always loved this since that TopGear episode, and have loved Morgan since I visited the factory as a kid (I live in Worcestershire) I'll always class Morgan as my dream car manufacturer
Love the colour 🧡🧡🧡
You sound delightfully mad driving along in this. 'Petrol on, Switches off and ... contact!' ...... Scramble!
THE funnest thing on wheels, period.
Morgan three wheeler my favourite car that actually is not a car and it’s not even a motorbike ,that said I beg any of you just test drive it, The feeling is nothing You’ve ever experience, and drive it through the city or town and oh my God does everyone look at you and take photos and want know what it is, And nearly everyone Waves at you. I don’t own one yet but a number of friends of mine‘s owns them.
110 years plus uk Malvern company , been to the factory tour, people from all over the world like the Chinese and American comes to look at this quirky company, as you can see I love morgan cars especially the Morgans3wheeler but it’s not for everyone.
You ought to try a Grinall 3 wheeler which is the modern version of the Morgan! Bloody fantastic!
If I had money to shell out for any car just because I could, I would absolutely get a Morgan 3-wheeler. I would also get the leather flying jacket, scarf, goggles, leather helmet and even get the brown gauntlets for full effect. I might even just have to earn my pilot's license so I could wear the wings badge!
Highly recommend Alex Roy’s 3 wheeler testing on the smoking tyre
Your best video ever🇬🇧🇬🇧
Just bought mine. Totally awesome in every way.... If you like driving and used to have a motorbike....
Driven by Peter Sellers in "The Party" (1968) with his passenger Claudine Longet...!
@k halliday just for you to enjoy - ua-cam.com/video/MkrKkBhsMiA/v-deo.html
That does actually look and sound amazing.
They are! A guy I knew drove one from San Francisco to San Diego and he had an amazing time. He took me out for a spin on the 101 freeway and it was amazing! Such a unique motoring experience and thrills by the second. So much fun.
I can imagine. It sounds like a brilliant experience. He must've turned so many heads along the way.
Jay Leno has one and Shmee said it was the best car he'd driven in 2018. Thanks.
I have got a cam am spyder rt and I total agree with the problems with the wheel set up the first few times you ride one you try and miss the road imperfections but on the third time you ride it’s bugger that and just go with the flow. My can am also comes with stability control and traction control I am not sure what the Morgan’s got but without them it will be a white knuckle ride and part of the charm.
Meeting a DeLorean in that car, in that attire.. That is just abolut as perfect as it gets. What a wonderful moment :D ..and to the Three Wheeler: Living in Denmark, and without the moneyz to own several vehicles, i can't see myself buying such a thing, but it's the only current Morgan that makes me happy. It sounds lovely, and looks amazing. If i were to buy a Morgan it would be either the Three Wheeler, or a proper Rover V8 Morgan from yesteryear. I prefer the V8 verson :)
I'll tell you what; drive both theAero and one of the 4-cylinder 4/4's or +4 from the 1960's. I bet you'll love 'em both.
I want one with Trotters Independent Traders livery, going in reverse all the time. Proper fun that, makes my MX5 look like a Hummer.
I wanted one when I first saw one but didn't like many things about it especially the narrow cockpit so I made my own and made it comfortable and more usable. No angle gears or drive belts either.
Lovely Jubbly, best of British.
I had a test drive in one about 4/5 years ago, you're right you just can't stop laughing. Very narrow footwell controls though nearly crashed into the back of a Merc almost missing the brake pedal. Lol
The quirkiest of quirky cars, I'd love one as a summer weekend toy.
Not sure 'daily driver' is on the menu though :-)
The Morgan Three Wheeler really just be a forbidden tricycle.
All through the drive, I was expecting some yuppie in an M3 convertible to shoot past and brake-check you for shooting down his great-uncle somewhere over Ashford a fair few years past!
I wanted one of these before they existed .was it the late eighties or early ninties the big manufacturers started building retro concept cars for internatial motor shows and thought I wish Morgan would do that and put it into production
How long did it take to get the smile off your face? That was great! I met a guy in Massachusetts who restored old Morgan three wheeler's and raced them! He also restored the 4 wheel cars. I bought my Spitfire from him.
still want one, prices are still high on the second hand market. in the usa 2 nutters did a trip coast to coast with one of these. it was absolutely terrifying according to them
That attire was definitely required to basically navigate a Spitfire around English country roads! That rear wheel though would be a frightening thing in the proper wet, or frost!
THE WHEELS AND A REBORN TEENAGER .am i jealous .......yup
Mr Toad lives!!
". .a smile that takes a plastic surgeon to remove". LOL! Thanks.
It has that sound of the old time Le Man cars
I’d love a moggy three wheeler
Bonkers awesome!!!!
i want one
wonderful
So a serious question Mr JayEmm on cars... Which Morgan would You buy?
cool outro!
Thanks!
I fuckin' LOVE this. Thanks! I had a Four/Four back in my youth and it got me LAID.
Hi James - hope all is good? Do you reckon I should consider a stable mate for Kermit then? (A lurid green Caterham)
Tricky, because it is close to the Caterham in many ways but not as capable
What a riot! Its probably well worth the cash for someone who wants this raw oldschool style of vehicle without the frightening reliability or issues of something genuinely 50+ years old.
i don't think i've seen anyone review this without it making them laugh at some point
indeed, it almost calls for its own challenge: "can you keep a straight face while reviewing the Morgan 3-wheeler?"
That helmet, goggles and raffish grin. Why does it make me think of Snoopy?
Albert Ball drove one of these and said it was the closest sensation he had to flying when not actually flying.
you really needed to get this one on a proper road course.
"You've got to be really carefull with this car when it rains ..."
Know what he means. I tried one at the local dealer's open day, which was a bit wet, and span the back wheel in 4th gear.
It reminded me of my old Honda CB500T twin, with rotted out silencers - except for people without a sense of balance - and then I heard the price as "4 to 5 thousand", not bad!... then a second time as "£45,000", - gulp!!
(Few other vehicles inspire me to make so many comments as this one - which must mean it can't be ALL bad?)
8:00 when the future and the past come across 😎
🙏
Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in a Morgan three wheeler. Perfect.
0:15 OK, anyone else want to see James review the yellow Europa in the background?
and the saab
Yes please! If he can fit in it! Would love to get an insight into the Europa.
I fit in a Europa - just. It's height which is the issue
I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am....... I was so looking forward to the crane scenes, you know, you being lifted in
and out of the car. Oh well, I guess there's a life lesson here you can't have everything.
I'm often envious of what you get to drive, but this has me "British Racing Green" with jealousy.
Where do I put me 2b4 and bags of aggy?
With Jeeves
I have a 96 R8 rover 400 tourer you can have a look at if your interested
Enough space on the passenger side for another left arm 😁. Obviously designed for people without arms. Forty five grand though!
Mr Toad on tour. Poop poop!
I would mount a Vickers machine gun to it!
That'd be dope! Haha. I love it
It's mostly like riding my Royal Enfield Classic 500,...but not so cheaper.
